Trapped pregnant with a Billionaire child

No arguments, Letta

Marco then smiled and approached Letta. He then embraced her from behind, taking over the watering of the plants and turning it off before releasing her carelessly.

“It’s okay, don’t be angry like that. If you keep making that face, I might just devour you anytime,” said Marco, causing Letta to want to respond. However, Marco immediately placed his index finger on his wife’s soft lips.Content rights belong to NôvelDrama.Org.

“No protests. I truly had no intention of disparaging your cake. I was just worried that if you went down to the kitchen, you might get hurt,” Marco finally said, causing Letta to sigh deeply.

“I do have to go down to the kitchen as a woman, as a future mother. Of course, I have to provide delicious meals for my husband and my children. You know, everything I forget truly makes me forget how to cook. Isn’t that normal?” Letta asked, making Marco shake his head.

“You don’t need to do that. What’s the point of hiring the best cook in this house if you’re going back to the kitchen in the end?” Marco said, causing Letta to release herself from her husband’s embrace and look at Marco with raised eyebrows.

“Then what’s the point of me? Isn’t a wife supposed to serve her husband and take care of her children, cook, clean, tidy up, provide education, and give love? Isn’t that a wife’s duty?” Letta said, making Marco shake his head.

“That’s for regular wives. You’re the wife of someone from Jovanka, it’s different, Letta,” Marco said, causing Letta to roll her eyes lazily.

“It’s all the same to me,” Letta mumbled, still audible to Marco. Marco then returned Letta’s gaze and looked into her meaningful eyes.

“Listen and believe that I only want you to be alright. I want you to experience all the facilities I have, all the luxuries, everything I have is all yours. What’s the point of having all these conveniences if you still want to work hard,” Marco said, causing Letta to fall silent before she finally returned the gaze of her husband.

“Well, if only I could accept all the luxuries, all the conveniences you provide. Then, what if suddenly you kicked me out? Who would I rely on? Shouldn’t I learn to take care of myself and be independent?” Letta suddenly said, making Marco fall silent. Somehow, Marco felt surprised by the direction of Letta’s current thoughts. Letta then flinched slightly. It seemed she was also unaware of the words she had just uttered.

“Did my words hurt you? I truly had no intention of leaving this house, let alone leaving you. But, somehow those words just came out of my mouth,” Letta said, looking directly at Marco with a worried expression. Marco remained silent. Was it Letta’s subconscious that truly desired and thought about it when she first entered this house? The same phrase brought Marco back to the past.

“You can’t leave me, Letta,” Marco said with a cold aura, causing Letta to be momentarily stunned as if she were seeing a different person from the Marco she had known all this time. And the next second, Marco immediately smiled warmly back at Letta.

“How could I ever let my wife go far from me? I won’t allow it. I can’t imagine how your life and our baby’s life would be,” Marco said, causing Letta to fall silent for a moment.

“I also apologize for speaking nonsense. I truly had no intention of saying that, but it just flowed out as if it had already been in my mind,” Letta said, making Marco nod his head. Marco seemed to need to start giving Letta the medicine prescribed by the doctor, he thought.

“Oh yeah, I saw the dressing room looking like a shipwreck again, and I also forgot to take you shopping. How about we go to the mall now to buy some new clothes?” Marco said, making Letta immediately look at him with sparkling eyes.

“Are you taking me to the mall?” Letta asked, making Marco nod his head.

“Yes, instead of you having to struggle to find your size, we better just get rid of those clothes and fill them with new ones,” Marco said effortlessly, making Letta shake her head.

“How could those clothes be just thrown away like that. Some of them I haven’t even worn and still look brand new. Just keep them, who knows after giving birth, my body will return to normal, and I can wear them again,” Letta said, making Marco shake his head again.

“After giving birth, your body size will definitely be different. We can buy new ones, so it’s better to get rid of those clothes,” Marco insisted.

“Alright then, how about we donate them to one of the shelters that might really need them. I’m sure many of them would be interested in wearing those clothes,” Letta said. Of course, they might also be sold, Letta would surely think, which finally made Marco sigh deeply.

“Okay, I’ll have Pedro distribute the clothes to the appropriate places,” Marco said, making Letta smile. “So, when should we…,” Letta was startled.

“Yes, alright. Let’s get ready first, and we should go in now. We’ll leave right away,” Marco said, making Letta nod. However, as they were about to go back into the house, Letta suddenly stopped in her tracks and looked at her husband.

“But shopping is accompanied by you, right? I don’t want you to just instruct some guards and servants to accompany me,” Letta said, making Marco fall silent for a moment. It seemed he didn’t have any important schedule today, so he probably had time for Letta too, Marco thought, finally nodding his head.

“Yes, of course, I’ll be the one accompanying you. So, let’s get ready soon,” Marco said, making Letta nod happily. Somehow, since she lost her memory, Letta had been more eager to go to places with a lot of people. It was as if she was returning to her social circle as a human being without direction or purpose. Letta hoped that if she was with people and in the hustle and bustle, she believed that she could slowly remember what she had forgotten. She felt like a blank sheet of paper without any recollection.

Their steps halted as they noticed a large bouquet of flowers now in the living room, prompting Marco to immediately look at a servant who had just placed the flowers there.

“Whose flowers are those from?” Marco asked, making the servant nod.

“Earlier, there was a flower courier who delivered them, but the guard who received them couldn’t get the sender’s name,” the servant said, making Marco startle. However, Letta immediately released her embrace with Marco and walked towards the beautiful bouquet of white and red roses, causing Letta to smile. Letta then pulled out the greeting card from the flowers.

“Is this flower for me?” Letta asked, making the servant nod, and this also came as a surprise to Marco. Who on earth would dare to send such a large bouquet to his wife?

“What does the note say?” Marco asked, finally taking over the greeting card. After reading it, without waiting long, Marco crumpled the paper tightly and threw it in any direction.

“Dispose of this flower far away. If not, just burn it,” Marco said in a cold tone, making Letta furrow her brow.

“Why? Could it be that just because there’s no sender’s name, this flower will be discarded immediately? What a waste, isn’t it? It looks beautiful,” Letta said, making Marco look at her with a firm gaze.

“No arguments, Letta. If you want flowers, I can fill this whole house with your favorite flowers. So it’s better to get rid of that flower. We don’t know what that flower might contain. Perhaps the person who sent it placed a virus or anything that could harm you,” Marco said, making Letta want to respond. However, Marco seemed unwilling to be contradicted, causing Letta to finally choose to follow her husband’s words.
