Chapter 330
Chapter 330
Molly was keeping her mouth shut on the side.
The old professor was also in the dark about what was going on. Ever since Andre showed up, he'd
been teaching with his head in the clouds, feeling really on edge.
As soon as the bell rang, the old professor gave Andre a nod. He then grabbed his books and
hightailed it out of there.
The students in the class, seeing the man in the front row, didn't dare get up and leave.
When Mia looked up again, her eyes were red. She made a beeline for him and threw her arms around
her husband. Andre wrapped one arm around her, "Babe, I'll be with you in class today. Don't sweat it,
I've got your back."
With a sob in her voice and her nose all stuffed up, Mia gave a heavy "Mmm-hmm."
Andre handed his wife's empty water cup to Leo. He gestured to the water room outside, and Leo was
off like a shot to fetch water.
On the side, Molly said, "Andre, you got Mia all choked up."
Andre told Molly, "From now on, you have to let me know if anything happens to Mia at school. If
anyone says another nasty word, give me their name, class, and student ID."
Molly nodded seriously, "Don't worry, I've got this."
Those who had been warned by Andre on the sly got all clammed up, and their hearts were pounding.
Two classes done and two more to go. They switched classrooms, and Mia got up, with Andre holding
all her books.
His phone rang, and Andre answered it with one hand while still keeping his arm around his wife with
the other.
Seeing this, Leo quietly took the books, freeing up Andre to hold his wife.
Some people were curious about Molly's identity. Wasn't she originally Jade Byrne? Why did she
change her name to Molly? She was calling Andre brother. What the heck was going on?
Andre deliberately didn't drive his car. He held his wife's hand and followed the crowd to the next
classroom for the upcoming class. All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.
Along the way, people kept stealing glances at Andre, all wondering why he was here.
Andre had a car but didn't drive it. He walked hand in hand with his wife through the campus, making
sure everyone saw he was there to accompany her to class.
Two little followers trailed along behind them. Molly, hands in pockets, said to her nephew, who was
carrying three books, "I'm going to find a boyfriend just like my brother."
Leo said, "Well, I'm definitely not finding a girlfriend like you or Mia."
Along the way, Andre sorted out some business issues. Alice asked, "Sir, is there a problem at home?"
Andre said, "No, nothing at home. I'm at school with my wife."
After hanging up, Andre accompanied his wife up the stairs.
That day, Andre really did stick by Mia's side the whole time. By midday, the whole school had heard
the news.
"I heard during their accounting class, they used financial data from Cedillo Inc. from five years ago,
but they actually printed the data wrong. It was Andre who caught it and corrected it. Hilarious."
"Seriously, I was in that class. The data was wrong, so the final result was wrong. Our teacher had to
recalculate the annual net income in front of Andre. You could practically feel the tension."
"Andre really spoils his wife. He said he'd accompany her to class and he really did it."
"I heard Mia's schedule is packed this afternoon. Students in the same class are lucky to be in the
same classroom with Andre."
"I feel sorry for the teachers."
"I agree."
"Me too."
......
"I also agree."
In the afternoon, Andre was indeed sitting in the classroom with his wife. The teachers felt pressured
during class.
After class, he took Mia for a walk.
Molly and Leo wanted to go get ice cream, and Mia wanted to follow them too. Andre held her back,
"They'll get the runs if they eat that. We're not having any."
"Sweetie, I'm not eating. I just want to take a look." Mia leaned sideways, stretching her foot towards
the supermarket entrance, but Andre scooped her up in his arms.
Andre held her waist, restricting her movements, "Good girl, I'll show you something better. We're not
looking at this."
Mia's gaze was still fixed on the freezer at the supermarket entrance. "Sweetie. I just want a quick look
and sniff."
"You'll feel sick if you smell it. There's something better up ahead. Let's go." Andre coaxed his wife
away like a child, half-carrying her.
Mia looked back at the two people enjoying their ice cream, "Sweetie, I'm going to buy some for your
dad. I promise that I won't eat it."
"Dad can't have any. He's getting old and his health isn't good." Andre turned back and scolded his
sister and nephew, "You two eat with your backs turned, don't let Mia see."
The two of them, ice creams in hand, turned around together. Mia watched as the ice cream
disappeared from her view. "I'm going to tell Hansen when I get home that you wouldn't let me buy him
something to eat."
Andre and his adorable wife returned to the classroom.
The rumors spread like wildfire. Mrs. Cedillo liked ice cream, but Andre wouldn't let her have any. But
everyone still firmly believed that Andre loved Mrs. Cedillo. He was just showing his love in his own
way.
The two who had had their ice cream came over. To make his wife feel better, Andre gave them a stern
talking-to. Only then did Mia feel better.
Andre opened Mia's calcium tablets, took out two and handed them to her, "Here, have some."
Mia popped them into her mouth and started chewing. Then she gulped them down with water.
The downside to Andre accompanying her in class was that he'd take away her phone. Three
confiscated phones lay in front of one "parent", while the three "children" on the side were all behaving,
pens in hand, eyes on their books, and listening to the teacher.
If they daydreamed in class, Andre would smack their hands. If they felt sleepy, he would pinch their
faces.
"Sweetie, you can leave now. The whole school knows you love me, spoil me, and treat me well. That's
enough. Go make some money to support me." Mia started pushing her husband to leave.
Andre said he'd be with her all day, and he really did stay until the last class ended. After it was over,
he got up, feeling like his back was about to break. Only then did Andre realize how hard it was for his
wife.
In the evening, after classes were over, all four of them returned to the Cedillo family home.
As soon as they walked through the door, Andre pulled his wife back to their bedroom, clumsily trying
to gently massage her back, "Why didn't you tell me your back was hurting before?"
Mia pouted, "I've been through worse than this. It’s nothing."
"What's the big deal then?" Andre asked.
Mia gnawed on her lip, shooting Andre a deep and meaningful look. Andre got the message.
Downstairs, Hansen, hearing about his son's antics today, was over the moon, "Finally, Andre's done
something I’m satisfied with."
Molly spilled the beans to her dad about what the folks in class were saying about Mia. "Dad, you
wouldn't believe it, they all want us to treat Mia badly. They're just green with envy." Molly said.
