Chapter 577 Fake Brotherhood
Maxwell spoke every word clearly, as if he were afraid Faye could not hear him.
As Faye didn't answer immediately, Maxwell smirked. "I'm being watched now, so I can't say too much.
If you don't believe me..."
Maxwell paused, and continued, "Then Just kill Gunner."
After Maxwell finished speaking, he hung up the phone.
Listening to the beep on her phone, Faye dropped her eyes on Gunner in the corner.
The phone was on speaker. Gunner couldn't help shivering when he saw Faye looking at him.
Faye said, "Maxwell asked me to kill you if I don't trust him."
Gunner's eyes widened and he was struggling.

The one who took the lightning strike for you when you swore.
Gunner was gagged and there was nothing he could do but struggle.
Faye stared at Gunner for a while, then withdrew her gaze and lowered her eyes to the watch on her
wrist. "It's getting late. Let's get some rest first. If there's anything else, we'll talk about it tomorrow."
Lance asked, "Then what about these three people?"
"Take them back to your room first."
Lance nodded. "Okay."
Then Lance and Andy dragged Gunner and the two men tied up out of the room.
Faye sat on the sofa to stabilize her mood. Then she picked up the intercom phone in the room and
dialed the front desk.
When the call was connected, Faye came straight to the point, "Do you know Gunner?"
The front desk froze for a moment, and then responded, "No."
"You hesitated."
The front desk was lost for words.
Faye continued, "I hope tonight's surveillance footage can be erased."
The front desk was silent, and after a few seconds, she said, "It's not up to me. I need to ask our
manager."
"Okay. Tell me the result at nine o'clock tomorrow morning."
Faye hung up the phone without waiting for a response.
She drank the last sip of coffee and went back to the bedroom.
Lance and Andy only booked one room in the first place. Now there were three more strangers in the
room, so a suite was clearly not enough.
Lance asked, "Andy, why don't we get another room?"
The original plan was that Lance would sleep in the bedroom and Andy would sleep on the couch in the
living room. But now apparently Andy couldn't sleep in the living room.
Andy replied, "I'm cool."
Lance glanced at the three people who were thrown on the ground. "Are you gonna sleep in the living
room with them?"
Andy frowned and said nothing.
Seeing Andy's disapproving face, Lance coughed softly, and said tentatively, "Anyway, they are tied up
and can't run away. Why don't you sleep in the bedroom with me?"
Having known Andy for so long, Lance knew his temper too well.
Although the two were friends, Andy hated it when people get close to him.
Normally, Andy didn't like to be touched, let alone share a bed with someone else.
Lance was just putting out feelers. He didn't have much hope, but Andy said, "Okay."
Lance was speechless.
Andy's expression was unnatural and then he walked to the bedroom.
After a while, the sound of the shower was coming from the bathroom.
Lance raised his eyebrows and looked puzzled.
Then Lance walked over to Gunner, stretched out his hand, pulled the veil out of Gunner's mouth, and
said, "Don't try anything sneaky. Stay here tonight. Do you hear me?"
Gunner's arrogance of the day was gone, and now his face was full of ingratiating smile. "Lance, can I
talk to you about something?"
"Go ahead."
"My family actually invested in this hotel. The bed is huge. Do you think I can squeeze in with you and
Andy?"
Hearing this, Lance narrowed his eyes. "Excuse me?"
Gunner didn't respond.
Lance raised his hand and slapped Gunner on the back of the head. "You're a prisoner now. Sleeping
in the bed is off the table."
Gunner curled his lip in pain and said nothing. He opened his mouth angrily and bit the veil in Lance's
hand.
Lance looked at him with a puzzled expression.
Gunner said vaguely, "Gag my mouth. I'm going to sleep."
With the force of Lance's hand, Gunner shoved the veil into his mouth. Then Gunner fell to the ground
and closed his eyes.
Early in the morning the next day, in the Fennth Community.
As soon as Colin got up, he received a call from Maxwell.
Colin reached out and pressed the answer button. Maxwell said in a deep voice, "What time do you go
to the company today? I'll talk to you about something."
Colin said calmly, "Around eight o'clock."
"Then see you at eight."
"Okay."
Colin hung up the phone and sent Ethan a text, "They'll probably do it on my way to the company."
Ethan replied at once, "I will arrange five groups of people to guard according to the road section.
Relax, this will not arouse suspicion."
Colin, "Protect me."
Ethan, "Don't make me take Brandon's part."
