Chapter 306
Sacrifice
Kimberly said, "Emery, you can quit, but the theft occurred during your employment. You must be responsible for it even after you resign." Emery was speechless. He looked at Wulf, who was also silent.
Kimberly acted like a completely different person. She analyzed things clearly and rationally and wasn't like a spoiled lady who knew nothing.
Emery said in a panic, "Ms. Mitchell, I didn't ask them to steal things. I'm also a victim."
"I know it's not you, but you are the person in charge. If you don't want the police to come to you, do your job well. When the Mitchell Group's difficulties are solved, I will tell my dad about your contribution. So, are you going to resign or not?" Kimberly said. Emery kept looking at Wulf out of the corner of his eye. He hesitated for a long time and couldn't decide until Wulf said, "Emery, this is your last chance, and Kimberly gives it to you for the sake of your seniority. Just say yes."
Finally, Emery agreed and promised that such a thing would never happen again.
As for those employees involved in the theft, Kimberly called the police and let them handle it.
She was even more certain that Harper must know everything and could solve the problems. Otherwise, how could her methods be so effective?
After dealing with these matters, Kimberly went back to the hospital. Wulf sent her to the door and said, "Kimberly, tell me if your dad wakes up. I'm very worried."
Kimberly nodded and walked into the hospital.
However, Harper didn't know at this moment that Kimberly had developed a dependence on her. After ending the call with Kimberly, she called Annie.
Annie was surprised to suddenly receive her call. "Why did you call me this time? Is there anything I can help with?"
"Yes. Do you have a minute now?"
"How dare I say no?" Annie asked.
Harper pressed her lips and said, "I want to ask Anderson for two people."
"Ask him for two people? Who?"
"Don't worry. Just tell me what are my chances of success."
"Zero," Annie answered cruelly.
Harper snorted, "If I didn't tell you and go to him, my chances would be 100%, but I went to you first because you are my partner. Do you want to think about it and answer again?"
en
Annie was silent momentarily and asked, "Who do you want from him?"
"There is a capable director of publicity in his company, and I need him for a while. And I want Anderson to arrange for an assistant he thinks is good to come to Mayby." "Do you or does Benjamin need it?"
Annie hardly read the news about business, so she didn't know about the Mitchell Group's affairs.
Harper frowned and asked, "Do you think Benjamin needs Anderson's help? You think highly of the Jones family."
"Then don't look for Anderson," Annie snorted.
Harper then talked about the
Mitchell family's affairs and said, "I need two unfamiliar people. Only people who are not from Mayby can remain mysterious so that the

see things through."
"So you want me to talk to Anderson?" said Annie.
"Yes. Of course, I won't let him do this for nothing, and I won't ask you to ask him for the two people. You just need to tell Anderson I'll work for the Jones Group for two years for free." en
"Quite a sacrifice?"
"Go and talk to him. I need to see the two people tomorrow," Harper said.
Annie asked, "Why don't you go to Anderson yourself?"
"Based on my understanding of him, he would push his luck if I talked to him, so I really need your help."
Annie smiled, "I like that. Okay, I'll deal with it now."
Annie immediately went to find Anderson.
She relayed Harper's message. She thought that Anderson would disagree. However, when he heard that Harper would work for him for free for two years, he nodded immediately. Annie asked curiously, "What kind of work will Harper do for you that makes you agree so readily?"
