Will You Marry Me, Again

Chapter 114

Chapter 114 Wedding Photo with a Tortoise!

‘Damn him!‘

Did he think he could just kiss anyone he liked because he’s a CEO? Well, she was a CEO, too. Maia tried hard to keep a lid on her anger. She slid open the glass door and gestured for him to get out.

Cedric leaped over the balcony to his room.

He had hidden in a closet and leaped over a balcony for her. He would not do these things under normal circumstances, but he did them all for her.

He touched the wound on his lips. “Ow...”

Maia was a feisty lady, but she hid all of her aggressiveness because she loved him. Cedric could not control himself, and he giggled.

She was now displaying her full rage at him because she had stopped loving him. In fact, she hurt him badly on several occasions.

He did not conceal his disappointment. He stood by as the summer breeze tousled his hair. His heart was still aching, and it didn’t seem like it would go away.

“You'll always be mine,” Cedric said decisively.

Maia locked the balcony glass door and closed the curtain.

Then she opened her front door. The camera crew had been waiting for her outside for a while now.

“Good morning, Ms. Maia. We're here on a surprise visit!” They were trying to be cute and made a heart-shaped gesture at her.

“Morning, guys.” Maia nodded at them.

The camera crew started to check her room. They didn’t find anything interesting until they discovered the liquor bottles in the trash can.

One of them grabbed one of the bottles. “Let’s check the liquor brand to see what she usually drinks!” Then he said, “Ms. Maia’s younger brother owns Burgess Winery, and we found their liquor in

her room!”

Maia had not expected them to look in such inconspicuous places. She should have asked

“Quite the heavy drinker, Ms. Maia!” The camera crew stared at the liquor bottles in the trash can. Some of the bottles were even packed up in a plastic bag because they couldn’t fit in it.

Luckily, Maia was quick—witted, “I couldn’t help it. My younger brother owns a winery, after all!”Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.

“Take a look at your bed, Ms. Maia... It’s really... Hahaha!”

Her bed was in a complete mess. It was not like she always kept her bed tidy, but it was never as bad.

She had Cedric to thank for this. However, she couldn’t explain herself as it would just make things worse. There was nothing else noteworthy in the room.

However, just when the camera crew was about to leave, they found a man’s wallet on the ground.

“It's your wallet, Ms. Maia!”

“Uh... Why is it a man’s wallet?”

Maia looked at the wallet by the couch and recognized that it belonged to Cedric.

“Uh. This is my younger brother's wallet. | was in a hurry when | was leaving my home. | guess | accidentally took it.” She picked up the wallet hurriedly as she made another excuse.

The camera crew did not doubt her. They smiled and nodded. “You're quite close with your younger brother, Ms. Maia. | wish | had a brother like yours!”

Finally, they left her room.

Maia let out a sigh of relief. She looked at the wallet and lobbed it angrily at the couch. The wallet flipped open, and a picturé caught her interest.

She frowned, picked up the wallet, and confirmed that it was a picture of her.

‘Isn't this a picture of me when | shot the wedding photos alone? Did he keep this picture in his wallet? What did it mean to him? Maia took the picture out. She figured she had the right to do it because it was hers.

She remembered what she had written on the back, but there was something else on it. It was in Cedric’s elegant writing.

“I'll make your wish come true. Let’s do a wedding photo together next time. “

Maia frowned and tightened her grip on the wallet. Then, she drew a tortoise on the picture

“You can go ahead and do a wedding photo with a tortoise!”

Maia was a little mad. She sent Cedric a text. “Meet me on the balcony.”

He was there in a flash.

“Did you miss me already?” He grinned seductively.

“Did you have a stroke? Is that why you're speaking nonsense?” Cedric stared at her lovingly. He wasn’t fazed in the least.

“| do. | had a stroke of luck. | fell asleep with you in my arms!” He was genuinely shameless!

Maia threw his wallet over to him and said, “Here you go.”

Then she turned and walked into her room. She closed the glass door and locked it. Now, he wouldn’t be able to enter her room that way again.

Her cell phone beeped. It was an audio text from the production team.

“There’s a simple game segment after the breakfast, Ms. Maia. It’s a performance by the mentors. The participants will cast their votes. Please come to the central square when you’re done with your breakfast.”

Agame segment? Performance? She had truly gone all out for the sake of her company’s talent show.

She had a quick breakfast and went to the central square. Cameras were everywhere, and they were hooked up to the live feeds. The entire thing was broadcast live on television.

There are more than six million people on the livestream. The fans were fanatically leaving the “warring couple” comment. The participants arrived and sat down.

Aiken exclaimed, “In accordance with the contestants‘ votes, Ms. Maia will deliver a scripted performance! Now, please choose your acting partner!”

Aiken gave her a look, hinting at her to pick him. However, Cedric said, “I'll do it.” The crowd went into an uproar. They were excited to see how the event would unfold.
