Unbreakable Love His Passion for Her Transcends Death

Passion 221

Xavier had received a lot of criticism during the banquet that day, but at that moment, none of it seemed

to matter.

He didn't wake wot

He didn't wake Yvette up. Instead, he carried her in his arms. It was then that he noticed her forehead was very hot.

"It's a fever!"

She woke up to his voice and felt a headache. "Oh, you're back."

"Yeah. You're running a fever. I'll call a doctor to examine you now." Then, he was about to put her down so he could grab his phone.

Suddenly, she hugged him. "I don't want to see a doctor. I'll be fine after taking some pills." It had been half a month, and she still hadn't had the chance to check if she was pregnant. It would be bad if the doctor found out something.

When she took the initiative to hug him, it felt gentle. Xavier's terrible mood that day disappeared completely.

"Be good."

However, Yvette wouldn't let him go at all. "I don't want to see a doctor, Xav. I'm begging you. I'm really fine."

Her soft voice made him fall into a dilemma. However, he was still thinking straight. "What's wrong you today?"

Yvette rarely acted coy in front of him, especially after she had come back from abroad. He figured she had something to ask of him when she acted that way.

Seeing that he was getting suspicious, she buried her head in his embrace and mumbled, "My dad died at the hospital, and so did my baby. I'm really afraid of doctors now."

When she mentioned James and the baby, Xavier compromised. "I'll go grab the pills for you."

"Alright." He let her go and got up to get the medicine.

Meanwhile, Yvette sat on the couch and watched him with an empty look in her eyes. Soon, he returned to her side with a warm glass of water and some medicine.

She took them and forced out a smile. "It's alright now. I'll be fine soon."

"Sure." Xavier didn't know why he was still worried after hearing her say that she was fine.

That night, Yvette continued to run a low fever. After she took a shower and had some pills, Xavier held her in his arms.

She couldn't help but ask, "I want to ask you something. Are people with disabilities born to be different from others?

She had asked him the same question when they were younger. Back then, he had said that everyone was an angel sent by fate. However, some angels hurt themselves when they arrived. So, everyone was equal.

Xavier didn't know why she had suddenly asked that, and he didn't think too much about it. "Of course.

Life is unfair, so no one is equal.”

Yvette was stunned again. "That's right. Everyone is born different."

He noticed that something was wrong with her, and he placed his hand on her shoulder. "That's why we have to work hard to create the life we want."

She tightened her grip on his shirt. "Yeah. I know."

She thought that her dear Xavier had grown up and experienced a lot in life. She figured that was why his answer was different.

However, she was still unwilling to give up, and she continued asking, "Xav, I can't sleep. I want to go t the secret base we had when we were kids. Can we do that?" When Xavier heard that, he was confused. "What secret base?"

She was stunned once more. She wondered if the person in front of her really wasn't the same person she had liked since she had been younger.

After hesitating for a long while, she smiled bitterly. There's a small pond near Snyder Residence. That was my secret base. I guess I've never told you about it before."

Xavier thought it was weird that she had brought up the past so much that day. It had been so many years, and he had forgotten many things a long time ago. BIG SALE: 3500 bonus free fou you
