Unbreakable Love His Passion for Her Transcends Death

Passion 200

Chapter 200

Yvette secretly hid Noah's drawing. The manor was huge. It would take at least two days for her to explore the whole building, and she wouldn't even be able to find all the hidden cameras. After Xavier changed into casual attire and came downstairs again, he looked great.

His dark eyes reflected the mother and son as they had fun on the carpet. It was a peaceful scene, but it made him feel jealous for some reason.

When Noah saw Xavier, he quickly called out, "Mister, do you want to play with us?" He had only managed to kick Xavier a few times, and it wasn't enough for him to vent all of his frustration. Yvette tried to stop Noah. She was worried that they would learn each other's identities after spending some time together. After all, they were both related by blood.

Unfortunately, Xavier was already approaching them. "What are we playing?"

Noah thought about it quickly. "Let's play pretend. You can be the father, and Mom can be the mother. I'll be your son, alright?"

Yvette's face instantly turned pale, and Xavier was stunned as well. He wondered why a boy like Noah wanted to play pretend.

"Mister, you're not thinking that I'm taking advantage of you, right? My dad's a wealthy man, and it's your honor to pretend to be him." Noah pouted like it was really Xavier's honor to be his dad. "Noah, don't put Mr. Lane in a spot-"

Before she could say anything else, Xavier interrupted her. "Sure. I'll be your father."

Seeing how he had agreed to it, Noah immediately hugged his leg. Then, he wiped his snot and tears on Xavier's newly changed pants. "Dad, I've missed you so much that I could die!"

Xavier instinctively wanted to push him away. However, when he heard Noah calling him Dad, he lost his temper immediately. He didn't even know why he felt that way.

Meanwhile, Yvette felt heartbroken as she watched Noah hugging Xavier and calling him 'Dad'. She knew that Zachary and Noah wanted a father badly, even though they never said anything about it. She figured Noah would be over the moon if he found out that the man he was hugging was his actual

father.

However, she didn't dare to tell Xavier about it. She silently clenched her fists so tightly that her nails dug into her palm.

After crying for a moment, Noah looked at Xavier with his big eyes. "Dad, why did you chase me and Mom out? Do you know how hard it has been for us?"

Before Xavier could say anything, Noah pitifully added, "Is that wretch really that good? Did you have to leave your wife for her?"

If Yvette hadn't known that Noah was playing pretend, she would have thought that he already knew the

truth.

Xavier had no idea where Noah learned to say all that. He wondered if Noah had picked it up from a show.

So, he gave a perfunctory answer. "Oh, you silly kid. How could I possibly abandon you and your mom? It's all just a misunderstanding."

He became gentler and more patient when facing Noah. He was actually playing pretend with the kid.

Noah looked happy instantly. "That's great! I knew you would never leave your son and wife."

After saying that, he grabbed Xavier's leg again. "Dad, since Mom and I are home now, don't you have to do something?"

Xavier was confused, and so was Yvette. She asked, "Noah, what do you want Mr. Lane to do?"

"Every other kid grew up with both of their parents. I was the only one who was raised alone by my mom." After saying that, he looked at Xavier with teary eyes. "Dad, you have to apologize to my mom first." When Xavier heard that, he looked at Yvette. He didn't know why he couldn't say it.

Then, Noah whispered, "Mister, don't tell me you can't do it. If you're going to be like this, no one's going to play with you in the future."
