Chapter 165
Chapter 165
Heinz Jones snorted. She was upset at him and even gave him such a forced smile. His eyes twitched
and became colder. He said gloomily, "You don't like to smile at me, but you smiled very brightly at
other men. In that case, why did you give up on that man?"
"What do you mean?" Grace Smith looked at him in surprise. "Can you stop saying weird things?"
Heinz threw the bag in his hand and it fell on the bed with a loud thud.
She was stunned and asked in confusion, "What's this?" Têxt © NôvelDrama.Org.
Heinz narrowed his eyes and said coldly, "See for yourself."
Grace took the bag and opened it. It looked a little familiar. "Hey, isn't this my photo album?"
"If I remember correctly, this album was from a long time ago, I kept it in my room in my family home.
Why does Heinz have it with him?"
She looked at Heinz in confusion. His face was gloomy, as though someone had just struck a nerve.
Suddenly Grace understood everything that was happening.
She inadvertently flipped the pages and saw the pictures in it. It was when both she and Simon Brown
were younger. The good old days.
She only took a glance at it and knew what they were. These were all her past memories.
"Why do you have this?" Grace closed the album and did not look at the rest of the pages. She looked
up at Heinz.
"Why don't you see it till the end?" Heinz did not answer her question but instead shot back with
another, "Do you not have the courage to see the rest of it?"
Listening to his piercing words, Grace didn't answer.
She looked at the man in front of her in a daze. When she saw that his eyes were filled of anger, she
suddenly realized that he was furious because of the album.
However, how did Heinz manage to get hold of this photo album?
Was it Marry?
She remembering seeing Marry in the hospital doing a visitation, but she didn't know who she was
visiting. Was it Marry who brought it here?
"Did Marry give this to you?" Grace looked at Heinz questionably.
Heinz replied coldly, "What if that's the case?"
Grace felt anxious and thought, "It's really Marry."
She felt anger ripple through her body. "What on earth is this Marry trying to do?"
Is she trying to destroy her relationship with Heinz?
Her life is already difficult as it is, and now Marry is trying to complicate things further. She could feel
her anger rising but she chose to compose herself.
Grace pursed her lips.
"I see. She's the one who gave this to you."
Heinz fell silent. His handsome face was indifferent, but his serious expression could make anyone
nervous.
The silence was deafening as he turned to look at Grace with cold eyes.
Seemingly understanding Heinz's silence, Grace took a deep breath and said, "These are all in the
past. You really shouldn't care about these things. Otherwise, you might just fall into someone's trap."
He narrowed his eyes at her coldly.
Grace didn't know what else to say.
She just put herself in his shoes. If she saw Heinz laughing intimately with another woman, she would
feel uncomfortable too. Especially when he is quite a possessive man.
Therefore, she understood him.
Grace pursed her lips and looked at him with her big bright eyes.
"Are you still angry?" Grace bent forward to grasp his hands.
Heinz looked at her coldly. "You're trying to please me?" He said sarcastically.
Grace's heart skipped a beat. She chuckled and said, "Yes, I'm trying to please you."
Heinz thought that she would be angry at him because he was speaking rudely to her, but she didn't.
A glimmer of light flashed through his deep eyes. He pursed his thin lips and said, "Why are you trying
to please me?"
Grace bit her lips, looked up at him and said nothing.
"Are you guilty?" He said coldly, "Is it because you still hold lingering feelings towards Simon, that's
why you want to please me?"
"No, I'm not." Grace said bluntly, "If I can't forget the past, why am I still here with you? I would have
already gone to find Simon. Why should I waste time with you?"
Heinz raised his eyebrows and his deep eyes lit up with interest.
Fortunately, she did not say anything else to piss him off.
Grace was not angry at him anymore. She looked down and felt really disappointed that her sister
would do such a thing to her.
What a shameful thing to do.
"Her own blood sister, must she plot against me like this?"
"It's not too late for you to find Simon now. Your sister is giving him away. If you still have him in your
heart, you should go for it." Heinz said lightly.
These words were too harsh.
Grace took a few moments to settle her emotions -her mind was still buzzing.
She frowned and looked at him. "Heinz, what do you mean? Are you looking down on me or are you
ridiculing yourself?"
Is she such an easy woman in his eyes?
Even if she is, he didn't need to utter those words.
She did not understand why Heinz said those words. What kind of person did he think she was?
These words made her very angry.
On the other side, Heinz was being very calm.
He looked at her with those dark orbs of his, Grace couldn't decipher his thoughts through them.
"I still have my principles, and I also know what I'm doing." Grace's blood pressure was rising. She
looked at him and said coldly, "Do you think that after I slept with you, I can do it with anyone?"
Heinz kept silent and did not answer.
"Listen to me,." Grace's blood pressure was still soaring, and she felt like her blood vessels were about
to explode. "No matter how undignified I am, it's not like I will do it with anyone. I still have my own
principles and pride. If you are really upset about my past, then I have nothing else to say."
The things that had already happened, I can't get rid of then, and I don't plan to get rid of them. Those
experiences made me who I am today.
"If you think that it's ridiculous for me to have feelings for you, you can ridicule and laugh at me all you
want, but please don't insult me."
She was very sad. Even after they had already slept together, his words still hurt her.
She was so angry and sad that she felt her heart was going to explode from all the uncertain emotions.
Heinz looked at Grace silently. She glared at him in anger.
His eyebrows twitched, but he remained quiet.
Seeing his indifferent reaction, Grace said angrily, "You can go now. I don't need you to accompany
me. Yesterday was the product of my own wishful thinking. In the future, we should go our separate
ways, and don't disturb each other anymore."
"How dare you!" The man suddenly grabbed her and pulled her into his arms.
Grace's whole body fell into his broad chest.
Heinz held her in his arms, lowered his head, and leaned into her ears. He whispered, "I'm also a man
with principles. I don't do it with just anyone either."
