Trapped pregnant with a Billionaire child

Not in her room

Letta blinked as she felt she had had enough sleep for her body, which had previously felt very tired from the game with her husband. She then looked at the sky, which was starting to darken, before glancing at the clock on the nightstand. It indicated that she had been sleeping for hours, but Marco still hadn’t returned. Letta finally straightened her body, got off the bed, and walked towards the window, which displayed the bustle below, making Letta smile.

It didn’t seem like a bad idea for her to go out for a bit to get some fresh air while waiting for Marco’s return. Although Marco had strongly forbidden her from going out alone, there must be guards out there that Marco had assigned to watch over her, and Letta could bring them along, she thought. Eventually, Letta chose to freshen up first, selecting the appropriate attire for her walk in the evening. Within minutes, she was admiring her reflection in front of the large mirror, wearing a light brown dress that complemented her fair skin, making Letta smile.

Letta then opened her room door, but furrowed her brow when no one was guarding her room. Usually, Marco would always instruct at least two people to watch over her. But this time, had Marco forgotten, Letta wondered. So, should she leave the hotel or not? Because Letta knew that Marco would not be pleased if she traveled alone, as she was aware that Marco would be extremely concerned about her safety.

Letta was about to close her room door when a thought crossed her mind. After all, she was just going not far from the hotel. Marco would surely allow it, and Letta would be back soon before Marco returned from the casino, she thought with a beaming smile. After that, she stepped out of the hotel room.

Letta descended floor by floor using the elevator until she reached the hotel lobby. Indeed, outside, the streets appeared busy, with people coming and going in the vicinity. Marco had indeed chosen a strategic location for them to occupy. Letta then looked around at the bustling environment, where people were moving about, prompting Letta to follow their direction. Letta promised herself she would only go around the hotel area, but unconsciously, her steps, which had initially felt slow, began to quicken. Not far from the hotel, there was a show, almost like an exhibition, with many games, numerous paintings, and even some that depicted traditions Letta wasn’t familiar with, making Letta smile.

Letta didn’t know how far she had strayed from the hotel area. All she wanted was to enjoy the lively atmosphere that currently seemed delightful to her. Letta began examining each beautifully displayed painting in front of her. After that, she looked towards the food stalls. However, what made Letta curse herself was that she had left without a single penny because Marco had never given her any money or a cellphone. Whenever Letta went out, Marco was always with her, and this time Marco was unaware, leaving Letta to swallow hard with difficulty.

Unbeknownst to Letta, someone who had been conscious earlier continued to follow her from afar, smiling all the while. This person appeared to be observing every aspect of Letta’s current appearance, but what made them grimace was when they noticed Letta’s visibly swollen belly. This prompted the person to approach Letta and tap her shoulder.

Meanwhile, elsewhere, two newly arrived guards immediately stood in front of Letta’s room door. However, they were surprised when a servant emerged from Letta’s room.

“Is Mrs. Letta inside?” one of the guards asked one of the servants responsible for cleaning the room, who shook his head.

“There’s no one inside. I was just cleaning the room as instructed by a woman earlier,” the servant said, causing both guards to widen their eyes. They usually took turns guarding Letta, but for some reason, they both experienced a stomachache incident simultaneously, rendering them unable to wait outside Letta’s room. And it seemed to backfire on them, as they had to quickly report to Marco that they had failed in their duty to watch over his wife.

“We must immediately contact the master and prepare to face our fate for neglecting our duties,” one of the guards muttered to the other, who could only rub his face roughly.

“It’s better if we search around here first, who knows if the mrs is downstairs or in the lobby. Yes, perhaps she’s just out for some fresh air,” the guard said, and they finally nodded, agreeing to search for Letta first, going through each floor of the hotel, and also searching around the hotel area. However, they still couldn’t find Letta, leading them to immediately call Pedro.

Meanwhile, elsewhere,Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

Pedro was seen standing not far from Marco, who was currently reviewing the report about the casino that had just been transferred under Jovanka’s name. Everything had been settled legally, with the casino and several nightclubs now under Jovanka’s ownership. Pedro’s focus was interrupted when his phone suddenly rang, displaying the name of one of his subordinates who was in charge of guarding Letta, prompting Pedro to step away briefly before receiving the report from his subordinate.

“I received a report from one of the guards I assigned to secure the Mrs Letta,” Pedro said, and at that moment, Marco began to change his facial expression. Marco immediately looked at him with a serious gaze, his eyes sharp.

“Tell me, is something bad happening to Letta?” Marco asked again, making Pedro pause for a moment, calming his voice.

“Mrs is not in her room, and it’s due to the negligence of the two guards I assigned. Currently, I have instructed them to mobilize other guards to search for the Lady around the hotel. Sir, please remain calm, we will find her soon,” Pedro said. After that, Marco got up from his seat, not listening to any further explanation from Pedro.
