is the plane ready
Before Marco returned home to meet Letta, he went to the hospital where Edward was still being treated. Fortunately, Daddy’s condition had also started to improve and he only needed regular care. The same went for his plans and Arabella’s.
“You’ve come,” Edward said as Marco entered his hospital room, while Helena didn’t even glance at her eldest son, which was evident to Edward.
“Actually, is there something that happened that Daddy doesn’t know about?” Edward asked, making Marco choose to be on the other side, near Edward, facing his mother who was peeling fruit for her husband.
“No, just a misunderstanding among us,” Marco answered, making Helena not respond at all.
“Daddy, listen, everything is fine, good job,” Edward said, making Marco just nod.
“Daddy doesn’t need to worry about this matter anymore because I’ve resolved everything. What should concern Daddy is how to get out of this hospital quickly and recover,” Marco said, making Edward nod.
“Yes, but how can Daddy not think about it, when Daddy’s hard work has been destroyed by outsiders who just want to enjoy themselves,” Edward said. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.
“I have worked with Arabella. Besides, she already holds almost the majority of the shares owned by her family. She’s a clever woman, and she knows what she has to do and what she has to leverage with what she has. There’s no need for any agreement about our relationship because Arabella has also decided to love someone else,” Marco said, causing Helena’s hand to pause as Marco deliberately said this to make his mother stop thinking about her previous ways.
“So, what you mean now is that your mommy’s ways are wrong?” Helena asked, making Marco fall silent.
“Mommy just took hasty measures, even though Mommy knows that I could handle it without bringing up our past,” Marco said, making Helena finally place the fruit back roughly, then get up from her seat.
“So, indirectly, you’re saying that you don’t care about your mommy anymore. You can do everything now, so you don’t need the advice of the person who gave birth to you. I did this so that you could have the best, but you chose your wife over me,” Helena said, truly angry with Marco, making Edward, who was listening to them, let out a long breath.
“Enough, the most important thing is that the problem has returned to stability, and what we need to do is to track down Jacob. Didn’t Daddy receive word from Pedro that he still hasn’t found Jacob? Where are you holding your uncle?” Edward asked again.
“To where he should be. Iam curious to trace all the PentHouses he occupied in various countries he visited, including the one here. They’re intriguing and I’m sure it’s not difficult to change someone’s identity,” Marco said, making Edward look at his son again.
“Since the issue here is resolved, I think I should quickly return. I will handle it there until Jacob appears, and I will also ensure that this hospital handles Daddy well,” Marco said, making Edward just nod, while Helena chose to turn her face away as if she didn’t want any greetings from her only son.
“I will frequently contact Daddy and monitor Daddy’s condition, and for now, I have told Pedro to come back quickly. Besides, in a few weeks, our unborn child will be born, so I must be ready to be by Letta’s side,” Marco said, making Edward nod. Marco then remained with Helena, who tried not to comment at all and seemed to be holding back her anger. Marco then walked out of the room where his Daddy was. He had decided to return to Letta’s side and resolve all the problems that had occurred.
“Is the plane ready?” Marco asked, making Pedro nod his head.
“Okay, then let’s go back,” Marco said as he got into his black car, followed by Pedro. They immediately headed to the airport where the plane would take off.
Meanwhile, elsewhere with the same situation, Letta remained silent, staring at the fruit snacks in front of her. Desi tried to open the door to her room, letting light stream in through the window that had been tightly closed for several days.
“The weather is so beautiful, and the balcony of this room is already getting enough sunlight. Don’t you want to see the beauty of the garden filled with flowers you planted yourself?” Desi asked, making Letta fall silent.
“I’m still comfortable sitting like this, Desi,” Letta said, making Desi approach again.
“At least you need fresh air to clear your mind. Your unborn baby deserves it,” Desi said, making Letta remain silent.
“It’s been several days, but Marco still hasn’t contacted us, right?” Letta asked, making Desi just nod her head. Desi was also a little surprised why her master did not immediately contact her, even though Desi had managed to contact Pedro and explain it to him.
“Let’s assume they’re busy, Madam,” Desi said, making Letta fall silent.
“No matter how busy they are, they should make time to contact me. He would tell me everything he’s been through. But right now it seems that Marco has no intention of explaining anything to me. And one thing that crosses my mind is that maybe Marco is really serious about Arabella and has chosen to leave me. Is that fair to me?” Letta asked again, making Desi once again fall silent, not knowing how to answer her master’s words.
“Sir must be thinking of another way. He couldn’t have left so easily. Trust me,” Desi said, hoping Letta would understand her words. This made Letta finally let out a long sigh. “Alright then, I’ll just keep waiting for Marco’s news and what he’s going through. Yes, that’s what Letta is thinking right now.”
Letta then slowly walked towards the balcony of her garden, which directly faced a garden filled with intentionally grown flowers, trying to absorb the warmth of the morning sun. Letta didn’t know how long she had been confined in that large room, making her feel a little sad because Marco didn’t intend to explain anything to her, until Letta finally sat on the balcony of the room.
“Would you like me to move your food here?” Desi asked, making Letta shake her head.
“No need, but could you get me some milk? I can drink that if anything,” Letta said, making Desi silent. These past few days it seemed like Letta was relying only on a glass of her pregnancy milk, even her favorite fruits and foods she ignored, as if Letta had no intention of eating them. This made Desi finally choose to fetch the milk in question and hand it to Letta.
“You can go back to your work. I’m fine now. I’ve had my pregnancy milk,” Letta said, making Desi seem hesitant to leave her mistress.
“Alright, then if Madam needs anything, just call for me. I’ll be at the back overseeing the other servants who are on duty,” Desi said, making Letta nod before finally sitting silently on her bedroom balcony with the morning sun shining on her slender body. Right now, Letta was only caressing her round belly, hoping that Marco would really come back soon, when her mind was in turmoil.”
