Trapped pregnant with a Billionaire child

I’II take care of it

Marco hurriedly ran to the hospital where his father was, after Pedro informed him that Helena had contacted him, stating that Edward had suffered a heart attack and was currently in critical condition. Marco stopped in his tracks upon seeing his mother, who was hunched over, sobbing.

“Mommy,” Marco uttered, causing Helena to look up and immediately embrace her only son.

“Look, your Daddy is lying there helpless,” said Helena, directing Marco’s gaze towards Edward, who lay with medical equipment attached to his body.

“What actually happened?” Marco asked, as Helena looked up, gripping the jacket Marco was wearing.

“Of course. It’s all because of your cousin and uncle. They’ve messed up everything your Daddy fought for from scratch, and now that things are going well, they effortlessly try to slowly pull away what we have,” Helena explained, prompting Marco to wipe tears from his mother’s face.

“Don’t worry, I’ve taken care of each issue that I should have. Daddy doesn’t need to worry too much about what’s my responsibility,” Marco reassured, causing Helena to shake her head.

“You know his attitude, don’t you? How can he stay silent when his son is handling all the problems he should also be involved in? What surprised your Daddy was how your uncle contacted him. Mommy doesn’t know what they said on that call, but after that, your Daddy complained of chest pain and shortness of breath, and suddenly he’s like this,” Helena explained, rubbing her face roughly.

“Has mommy spoken to the doctor?” Marco asked again, making Helena nod.

“The doctor said that your Daddy must get through this critical period as soon as possible,” Helena said, unable to hold back her tears, making Marco rub his face roughly. Not only has he dealt with the problems at hand, but now a new issue has emerged.

“Does anyone outside the hospital know Daddy’s here?” Marco asked again because if people outside knew that Edward is currently in the hospital, it would undoubtedly make it easier for others to attack them.

“Mommy doesn’t know, but it seems your uncle intentionally called and said things that made your Daddy like this. Mommy can’t be sure if they already know or not,” Helena replied, making Marco immediately look in Pedro’s direction.

“Find out their whereabouts and whether they are aware of Daddy’s current condition. We need to resolve this as quickly as possible before new problems arise,” Marco said, causing Pedro to nod. After that, Marco turned to Helena.

“It’s better for Mommy to rest now. Let me wait for Daddy here,” Marco said, making Helena shake her head.

“How can Mommy rest peacefully when Daddy’s condition hasn’t passed the critical period? I don’t want to leave your Daddy alone,” Helena said, making Marco sigh. Of course, Marco understood how a wife feels looking at her husband lying like that. He was reminded of Letta, who must be worrying about him, and Marco hadn’t even had a chance to hear Letta’s voice when Pedro delivered this bad news.

The next moment, Helena reached for her phone when an incoming call, which turned out to be from Edward’s secretary.

“Yes, Viko?” Helena asked, making Marco furrow his brow as Helena began to wear a serious expression.

“Don’t talk nonsense,” Helena said.Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.

“Give me the phone, Mom,” Marco said, taking over.

“What’s wrong, Viko, is something happening?” Marco asked.

“Our stocks have plummeted drastically, sir. It seems your uncle has started to make a move. He seems to know that Mr. Edward’s current condition is weakening, and it also affects your business. I’ve been monitoring; it seems Pedro is busy, so I took over to assess the situation,” Viko said, making Marco take a long breath.

“Yes, Pedro is tracking Jacob and his father. In that case, you try to handle internal issues first, and I’ll take care of the rest. Don’t let them escape or disrupt our network. Hold the investors or others, don’t let them panic. Everything will be fine, reassure them,” Marco said, making Helena cry.

“What should we do? We need someone to support us,” Helena said, making Marco shake his head.

“No need, Mom. I can handle everything. I will deal with it,” Marco said again.

“How can you? It’s not just one company you have to think about right now. Do you not realize the amount of assets you and your father currently hold, and they’re all under simultaneous attack by Jacob and his father? We need someone and assistance,” Helena said, and Marco couldn’t refute her. If there’s someone who might help support a Jovanka, it would be quicker to resolve the issue. Eventually, Helena held Marco’s hand again.

“What about Arabella, Mommy? Mommy is sure she can convince her father to collaborate with us. We have to try. This is the only way for us,” Helena said, making Marco shake his head.

“No need, Mommy. Just trust me; I’ll handle everything well. We don’t need them,” Marco said because he seemed to anticipate what was on Helena’s mind right now.

“But you can’t save everything, can you? You’ll surely lose one of what you have, and Mommy won’t allow it. The only way is to ask for Arabella’s help. Mommy doesn’t care, Mommy doesn’t want your father’s efforts to be in vain. So, set aside all pride and ask for Arabella’s help,” Helena said, then left Marco alone. Marco, who could only rub his face roughly, knew exactly what Helena meant now and what the purpose of her plan was. It was very challenging to convey to Helena if she already had such intentions. Marco chose to look towards Daddy, still lying weakly, only separated by the thick glass in front of him. Marco didn’t expect to reach a point where he couldn’t fight anything or anyone. Marco also felt regret towards Helena, who chose the only path by seeking help from the Arabella family. Although with a little persuasion from Helena, their family would likely assist the Jovanka family. But, of course, it wouldn’t be easy, and what Marco feared was when Helena might persuade him to reunite with Arabella. That’s not something Marco is willing to accept.

Marco then chose to look at his phone. One more thing he forgot was when he was about to call Arabella, making Marco sigh at the several unanswered calls from her home number. Of course, Marco couldn’t tell Letta about all these complicated problems with his current condition. Marco didn’t want to make his wife more worried.
