Trapped pregnant with a Billionaire child

any kind of trauma

Marco immediately stepped inside. Currently, Marco had made an appointment with one of the doctors who had previously treated Letta. He knocked on the door, entered, and sat in front of the doctor, who smiled at him.

“Mr. Jovanka, how can I help you?” the doctor asked, making Marco nod.

“Yes, I need the doctor’s assistance,” Marco said, causing the doctor to furrow his brow. The doctor was actually a bit surprised because just a few hours ago, he had met with Marco to examine Letta. Shortly after that, Marco contacted him again to make an appointment, but this time for himself. The doctor finally chose to listen to what the heir of the Jovanka estate really needed.

“Yes, what kind of assistance do you need?” the doctor asked, making Marco look at him seriously.

“I want to ask first, can my wife recover to her previous state?” Marco asked again, making the doctor furrow his brow slightly.

“Are you referring to her memory?” the doctor asked, making Marco nod.

“Yes, about all the memories she has forgotten at the moment,” Marco replied, making the doctor nod.

“In some cases, those memories gradually return to the patient, as if the memory is restored. Little by little, what she forgot begins to come back to her. But there are also cases where they can’t remember anything, so their memories don’t return at all,” the doctor said, leaving Marco silent.

“What about my wife? Is there a good chance her memory will come back?” Marco asked, making the doctor nod.

“Of course, with some therapy and the intentional display of certain memories, your wife may slowly remember everything,” the doctor said, making Marco ponder once again.

“Is there a way to prevent her memories from coming back?” Marco asked again, making the doctor pause.

“So what you mean is, you don’t want all her memories to come back perfectly?” the doctor asked, making Marco nod.

“Yes, I don’t even want any of the memories she has forgotten to come back,” Marco said again, making the doctor sit up a little, looking at Marco with a serious gaze.

“Is there any kind of trauma or bad memories your wife has experienced?” the doctor asked, making Marco nod.

“Many, too many bad memories that it’s good for her to forget. And I am grateful that her memory was lost yesterday, and it was all about her bad memories. With her in this condition, it’s already the best for her as far as I’m concerned. I don’t want her to remember all the bad events that happened to her, especially the accident that put her in a coma for several months,” Marco said, making the doctor finally understand the feelings Marco was experiencing. Although the doctor didn’t fully comprehend, it seemed that Marco was trying to deceive the doctor with all his words. The traumatic memories Letta experienced were undoubtedly etched in her mind, but Marco couldn’t divulge it to the doctor.

“I have a medicine that can suppress all memories. They won’t come back. It’s like influencing the brain’s function, but this medicine should only be taken when the memories begin to resurface slowly. But if your wife truly doesn’t remember, you don’t need to use this medication,” the doctor said, making Marco pause for a moment.

“Are there any side effects to using this medicine?” Marco asked again, making the doctor nod.

“Yes, such as severe headaches or a racing heart. But it’s not serious, it’s just to prevent your wife from recalling those memories,” the doctor said, making Marco nod.

“Alright, then I need that medicine. I don’t know when her memories might slowly come back, and I don’t want all of that to happen,” Marco said, making the doctor nod again. The doctor prepared the intended medicine, discussing once again about how to administer it, the side effects, and its usage for Marco. Before finishing his meeting with the doctor, Marco really had to be cautious and have something that could remind him of the beautiful memories they shared.

Marco left the hospital, got into the car, and looked at the bottle of medicine now in his hand. For Marco, as long as there were no adverse effects on Letta, it didn’t matter rather than risking losing his wife and her happiness again.

“Are we going home directly now, sir?” the driver asked, now facing Marco, causing him to fall silent for a moment.

“Just take me to the bakery first. I have to get something for Letta,” Marco said, causing the driver to nod as instructed. The driver immediately drove the car to a bakery in the city center, and Marco got out first. Before entering, Marco paused for a moment. It wasn’t part of his plan, but for some reason, he remembered Letta not getting anything in the garden. Perhaps bringing something sweet would make her happy, Marco thought, as he finally stepped into the shop. He was greeted by a server, and Marco looked around. The sweet scent of chocolate immediately wafted into Marco’s senses, making him slightly uncomfortable. It’s not that he disliked it, but he wasn’t very familiar with sweet foods. But for the sake of his wife, Marco had to get it.

Marco then walked around the shop. He wasn’t particularly adept at choosing tasty treats, until eventually, he decided to gaze at the cakes in the display case. Marco fell silent. There were various flavors with piles of chocolate and cream in front of him, yet Marco was still puzzled about which one to choose. Until suddenly, a remark from beside him made Marco look at a woman who was raising her eyebrows at him.

“I didn’t expect that you like sweet foods,” the woman said, as Marco looked at the tray in her hands, which already contained several pastries.

“I came here for my wife,” Marco said, making Lusi smile.

“For your wife, you’re quite an attentive husband,” Lusi said, making Marco simply nod. After that, Marco looked back at her.

“These cakes, this one, this one, and this one, I recommend these for you to buy for your wife. I’m sure she will love them,” Lusi said without being prompted by Marco, making him look at her for a moment.

“Trust me,” Lusi said again, making Marco finally nod and instruct the server to pack the cakes in front of him. However, the server’s movement halted when Marco spoke again.Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.

“I don’t want small portions. Are there any large slices available from these cakes?” Marco asked, causing the server to nod.

“Yes, sir. How many do you need?” the server asked.

“One of each dessert that I just pointed out, in a large size,” Marco said again, making the server nod. Meanwhile, Lusi just looked at him with a disbelieving gaze. Lusi knew that the man in front of her was a Jovanka with assets everywhere, but come on, he didn’t need to hoard that much just for his wife.

“You could stock up on that food for your wife for a month if you order that much,” Lusi said, making Marco shrug nonchalantly.

“That’s fine. So I won’t have to keep coming back to this sweet place repeatedly. Well, at least for the next few days, the sweet food stock will be safe,” Marco said, making Lusi look at him with disbelief.

“Yes, that’s a good idea. Maybe you want to add to your stock?” Lusi asked, making Marco shake his head.

“No need, and thank you for m recommendation,” Marco said, then walked towards the server who had wrapped his order, while Lusi chose to select her own food, watching Marco leave without any hesitation to offer her anything.
