The Slave of Pleasure

Chapter 14

I woke with a start, blinking away the haze of sleep as I tried to focus on the clock next to my bed. Thirteen o'clock. How had I slept so long? I rubbed my eyes, trying to ignore the strange sensation in my legs-a combination of numbness and weakness that left me momentarily immobile. My thoughts were still scattered, confused, but there was one lingering memory I couldn't shake, something that made me blush just thinking about it.

Every time I closed my eyes, my mind drifted back to the night before. It was unforgettable, almost surreal. The intensity of it all, the way every touch still felt alive on my skin, it was as if my body was still trapped in that moment. What had happened? Or rather, how had it happened? A wave of heat crept up my neck, and I knew I had to put it out of my mind, at least for a while.

With a sigh, I dragged myself out of bed, my legs shaking as I walked to the bathroom. The hot water from the shower seemed like the only thing that could bring some normalcy back to my body and mind. As the water ran down my body, I let my head fall back, trying to focus on the present, but the memories insisted on infiltrating, bringing back every detail, every sensation. The way he touched me, the way he looked at me. I don't know how I could have gotten this far. I stepped out of the shower with my skin still warm and wrapped myself in a soft towel. When I returned to the room, a surprise awaited me. One of the maids, a discreet-looking woman with impeccable posture, was standing by the door, holding a silver tray. I arched an eyebrow, curious and slightly suspicious. It wasn't the same maid as before.

She approached and handed me the tray with a polite smile. On top was a credit card and a small note. I took the note first, my heart beating faster with anticipation. I opened it carefully, my fingers slightly trembling. "Use it as you see fit. There is no limit."

I looked at the card again, still processing what was happening. This wasn't something that happened in real life, was it? The scene seemed straight out of a fantasy movie, where the protagonist wakes up to find that her life has been magically transformed overnight. Honestly, I began to wonder if this was all a hallucination caused by exhaustion or the impact of the previous night.

"He asked to inform you that a limousine is at your disposal, miss, to take you wherever you wish," the maid's voice interrupted my thoughts. "Also, a new cell phone was left for you. It's already set up, and the only contact stored is his." I blinked, trying to absorb everything she was saying. Limo? New phone? It was getting more and more surreal. My eyes met hers, searching for some clue that this was a prank, but all I saw was absolute professionalism. "Thank you," I mumbled, still a little dazed. The maid just nodded in response and left the room, leaving me alone with my bewilderment.

I placed the card on the table next to the bed and walked over to the mirror, picking up the phone that was there, just as she had said. The device gleamed with a sophistication that I didn't usually see in my usual possessions. With some hesitation, I unlocked the phone and, sure enough, there was only one contact stored: "My owner." Simple, straightforward, and completely enigmatic.

My mind was a jumble of thoughts. What exactly did this mean? The credit card, the phone, the limo... Was he really giving me access to all this luxury? And what did he expect in return? I tried not to think too much about the last part, because I knew it would only complicate my feelings even more.

Determined not to miss the opportunity, I began to get ready, excitement and nervousness mixing in my stomach. If I had a limousine and a credit card at my disposal, why not take advantage of it?

I put on an outfit that I knew combined elegance with comfort, quickly got ready and grabbed my credit card before going downstairs. When I reached the entrance, the limousine was already there, shining in the afternoon sun as if it had been waiting just for me. The driver, in an impeccable uniform, held the door open with a posture worthy of a movie butler.

I sat in the luxurious interior of the car, which exuded a soft aroma of new leather and a hint of something I couldn't quite identify - maybe it was just the smell of luxury. I closed my eyes for a moment, absorbing the fact that I was, in fact, sitting in a limousine that someone had arranged for me, someone who, until yesterday, had been almost a stranger.

The driver glanced in the rearview mirror and asked politely, "Where would you like to go, miss?"

I opened my eyes and stared at the mirror for a moment.

I said, before smiling to myself. "Let's go to the mall," I replied, the decision coming almost automatically. If I had the chance to live a little of this fairy tale, then I would start with the basics: shopping. "Which mall, miss?", the driver asked politely.

"I don't know the city very well, so the best mall I know," I replied, excited and, at the same time, nervous about all this.

As the car glided smoothly through the city streets, my mind wandered between the events of the previous night and the absurd reality I seemed to have been transported into. No matter how much I tried to understand what was happening, the truth was that I was enjoying the experience, even though I knew that, eventually, I would have to deal with the consequences of all this.

But, for now, I let myself be carried away by the magic of the moment. If all this was really a dream, I didn't want to wake up so early. After all, who would have the courage to reject a reality where everything you want is delivered on a silver platter? Not me. I think life is finally starting to recognize my sacrifices.
