The Divorcee and Her Three Chaotic Children (Olivia Clarke and William)

Chapter 63

Chapter 63

“Alright, since the wedding dress’s not your cup of tea, let’s make a quick buck out of it. Liv, any

objections?”

“Whatever floats your boat.”

“I’m gonna head back, not trying on the dress. My arm’s killing me. Just pack it up for me, and I’ll take

it.”

“No problem!” Chelsea said, grabbing the already prepared dress.

One long dress was for Olivia, while the other smaller dress was for Ezra.

Olivia checked them both, always satisfied with Chelsea’s designs.

However, when packing them up, Olivia only took the long dress.

“Could you give this smaller dress to William? Say it’s a birthday present for the little prince of the

Kinsman family.”

“Alright, Mission accepted!”

As Olivia was talking to Chelsea, Gideon’s car pulled up outside.

Chelsea escorted Olivia to the car, watching her leave before going back inside.

“Is she gone?”

“Geez, Mr. Kinsman, you nearly scared me half to death, sneaking up like that!” Chelsea held her

chest, her face turning pale from the mix of guilt and fear.

Chelsea hadn’t expected William to come looking for her.

Even more surprising, William made it clear he knew Olivia’s real identity.

Before she could ask more, Olivia arrived, and William shockingly asked her to hide him!

Chelsea was a little confused by this action.

“You still haven’t answered my question. What’s the grudge between Olivia and Gianna?” William

asked bluntly, ignoring her dramatic reaction.

“What grudge could there be between them? It’s nothing more than the hatred of fighting over Olivia’s

husband and the death of Old Mr. Kinsman. But as for the former, I doubt it. You heard it yourself, Mr.

Kinsman. Olivia isn’t interested in you. As for the latter, after all these years, you insist on a**ociating

with the murderer. No one can change your mind!”

“Did Olivia ask you to say that?” William glared at Chelsea coldly.

Clearly, William’s mood was getting worse. Chelsea nervously swallowed but gathered her courage to

continue.

“Mr. Kinsman, you’ve already put Olivia in danger once. Regardless of the resentment or

misunderstanding, shouldn’t it be water under the bridge by now? Can’t you let bygones be bygones

and spare her?”

“I put her in danger?” Panic flickered in William’s deep eyes.

“Isn’t that right? Mr. William, have you ever considered that if one day you uncover the truth and

discover that Olivia isn’t the one who killed Old Mr. Kinsman, it is you’d put her in danger?”

Chelsea appeared nonchalant, but she was secretly on pins and needles.

This was Mr. Kinsman, the Hades of the Melburgh!

To

say Chelsea wasn’t scared would be a bald-faced lie!

But for Liv, she was all in!

The Kinsman family had really crossed the line!

“Is Olivia truly not the murderer?” William mumbled, his voice barely audible, as if speaking to Chelsea,

or perhaps to himself.

Could it be he had wronged her, so Olivia wanted to avoid him? Was that it?

William’s face slowly darkened.

As Chelsea listened, she felt the growing tension in the air and didn’t dare to continue the conversation.

To hide her anxiety, Chelsea carefully wrapped up the smaller dress that Olivia had just opened, trying

to focus on something else.

“The dress is all set. It’s a birthday gift from Olivia to the young prince of the Kinsman family. Please

accept it.”

Seeing that William remained silent, Chelsea decided to seize the opportunity to walk him out.

“Does this dress resemble the one Olivia took just now?”

“You’ve got a keen eye, Mr. William. They’re indeed part of the same collection.”

“Make one for me too.”

“What?”

“Make one of the same collection for me.”

“… Mr. Kinsman, do you plan to wear it to the young prince’s birthday party? It might be cutting it

close…”

“Name your price. I’ll send someone to pick it up tomorrow.”

“Mr. Kinsman, why are you doing this? You can’t still have feelings for Olivia, can you?” Chelsea came

to a shocking conclusion!

This was one juicy piece of gossip-almost too juicy to swallow!

“What’s the deal with that wedding dress?”

Seeing William’s serious expression, Chelsea’s eyes sparkled.

This darn feeling of striking it rich overnight!

“Come, Mr. Kinsman, let me give you a detailed introduction!”

After the Clarke family’s house was destroyed, Dean moved into his apartment downtown.

It wasn’t very big, but during these trying times, he had to make do.

Since the Valenfield Bay Project had been stalled, the investors were getting antsy. They’d already sent

two warning emails, and if the project couldn’t launch by the end of the month, the Clarke family would

be taken to court. Not only would they lose the project, but they’d also face a penalty ten times the

initial amount.

It was a sky-high sum that Dean simply couldn’t afford. Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

But everyone in the business district of the Melburgh knew that the Clarke family had lost the backing

of the Kinsman family, leaving them high and dry, with no one willing to lend a hand.

The only way out was to appeal to the arch-rival of William.

But…

Although they responded to his email, their demands were as steep as daylight robbery, and Dean

wasn’t ready to throw in the towel just yet.

Racking his brains, Dean realized the only one he could take advantage of was his own daughter,

Gianna.

His pampered, fair-skinned, and beautiful daughter-it was high time Gianna stepped up to the plate.

Just as Dean was mulling it over, Gianna walked through the door.

“Mr. Clarke, what brings you to me at this hour?” Gianna still remembered the day Dean had ruthlessly

kicked her out. Now standing before him, she wasn’t showing her best side.

Seeing Gianna with a face like thunder, Dean felt his blood boil. But for the sake of his goal, he had to

swallow his pride and bite his tongue.

“Come on, kiddo, there’s no such thing as a lasting grudge between father and daughter. How can you

call your dad ‘Mr. Clarke”? Sit down, let me take a look at your face. Oh my, how come it’s gotten

worse? Isn’t your mother treating you well?” “Dad, just spit it out. I’ve got things to do!” Gianna was

having none of it and even showed a hint of resistance to Dean’s insincere concern.

The fact that she’d come today was already a big concession to her dad Dean.

“Alright, I’ll cut to the chase. I’ve arranged a marriage for you with the second son of the Lee family. Get

yourself ready and have dinner with Mr. Lee tonight!”

“The second son of the Lee family, that good-for-nothing Wayne Lee? You want me to dine with him?

Dad, have you lost your marbles?”

“Wayne may be on the chunky side, but do you still think you’re some high and mighty lady? Your

scandals are all over the place! It’s already a huge favor that he agreed to dine with you. Don’t bite the

hand that feeds you!”

“Me, bite the hand that feeds me? Dean, are you really arranging a marriage for me, or are you selling

your own daughter?

How many perks did the Lee family offer you, making you lose all sense of decency?”

“Shut your mouth! With your current reputation, do you still think you can marry into immense wealth?

Dream on! If Wayne is willing to marry you, it will be your blessing!”

“Well, you can keep this blessing for yourself!”

“You ungrateful brat, don’t you dare walk away!”

“Dean, I’m not as gullible as Olivia, sold by you and still unknowing it. You want to sell me? In your

dreams!”

Gianna taunted before bolting out of the apartment.

Gianna stepped into the elevator and frantically mashed the close button. Only when the elevator door

closed did she breathe a sigh of relief.

It was horrifying-her own father Dean wanted to sell her for a quick buck!

How did she end up with such a father?

It was disgusting!
