My Jumbo Hotdog
We heard loud applause inside the church after a quick kiss, Rozzean and I.
“Ahhh…” I turned to Rozzean when I heard his voice. He was holding my hand and kissing it.
“Mine… finally, you are mine.”
I smiled at what he said. I held him by his cheeks and gently pinched them.
“Really, you’re the one who’s mine,” I replied.
“Hmm… I can’t wait for our honeymoon.”
I widened my eyes and looked around, worried someone might have heard. I gently tapped Rozzean on the chest. Another honeymoon!
“Honeymoon has happened several times already; your mind is still on honeymoon.”
He’s still kissing my hand.
“That’s different. My performance this time is not as your boyfriend but as your husband.”
He knows a lot! And what performance is he talking about? I was about to speak again, but the crowd came forward to congratulate us.
“Congratulations!”
Thes came to us; I thought he had something serious to say, but I was surprised when five men approached us, and when I saw what they were holding, I covered my mouth.
My babies! My cats and dogs are wearing dresses and tuxedos!
“O-Oh my gosh…”
“It was your husband’s idea to bring your babies, Tangi,” Thes whispered to me.
I looked at Rozzean. I cried again and hugged him.
“Thank you… thank you so much, I love you…”
Rozzean caressed my back, then stepped back a bit. He kissed my forehead down to my lips.
“Everything for my wife.”
We took photos. I was delighted with how my cats and dogs were dressed up. I was grateful that they behaved and didn’t run around. They were well-behaved until the picture-taking was over. When friends wanted to take pictures, the guys took my pets and seemed to be taking them back to Thes’ pet house. They’ll stay there for now, and I’ll get them back after a week from our wedding with Rozzean.
I am so happy; I didn’t expect my fur babies to be here at our wedding.
“Picture!” my siblings said as they approached us.
Everyone in our families took pictures with Rozzean and me. We took a lot of photos inside and outside the church. After thirty minutes, we left the church and headed to the reception. Rozzean has been holding my hand since the priest declared us married.
He also hasn’t stopped kissing the back of my hand.
“We are not going to travel for our honeymoon, baby… Ferline said that it’s okay, but I don’t want to take the risk. I am still thinking of what may happen.”
I smiled at him, held his cheeks, and leaned in to quickly kiss his lips.
“It’s fine with me, Rozzean. Even if our honeymoon is just at home, it’s okay.”
He’s so caring. He became more attentive when he found out I’m pregnant with three. When we arrived at the reception, our family and friends welcomed us again. They all congratulated us. When I saw our parents, Rozzean and I approached them.
I kissed my parents on their cheeks, and Rozzean did the same to his parents. When Taki wanted to be carried, Rozzean picked him up, and we entered.
“There are a lot of people; they’re all waiting for the both of you,” Mommy said.
I smiled at Mommy, and when I saw the inside of the reception, my lips parted in surprise.
“W-Wow…”
The place was almost filled with flowers of different kinds. I couldn’t take my eyes off the surroundings as we walked. The place looks so magical…
I stopped when we were in the middle. I looked at Rozzean, and he was looking at me.
“Do you like it?”
“I… I don’t like it…”
“I love it! Gosh… h-how did you do this? S-so beautiful… like a fairytale, even the floor…”
I looked down. There were flowers on the ground, and the surroundings were like a garden full of flowers. I could even see butterflies outside near the pool area. The place was breathtakingly beautiful.
“I am glad you love it. You like flowers so much, I tried my best to make this place a paradise, and I think I succeeded…”
He’s making me fall in love with him even more.
Rozzean!
The party started. We greeted everyone. Everyone was happy, and smiles were everywhere. All of us were dancing. When the emcee went in front and said that the groom has a special number, I looked at my husband.
“Really?” I asked.
I was surprised when he took off his coat, revealing a long-sleeved white polo. He even opened the top two buttons. The emcee brought a chair and placed it in the middle. When they told me I had to sit there, I did it immediately. I looked at Thes on the side with a wide smile.
Does he know about this?
“Baby…”
“I don’t sing… I am not that confident, but I wanted to do this for you.”
I swallowed, unable to take my eyes off my husband.
Damn.
He’s smiling at me. My handsome husband!
He looks even more handsome in my eyes.
“Go, bro-in-law! Show them, and I have a bet with my siblings! If lots of people clap, I win!” shouted my brother Grecion from the side.
I burst into laughter, especially with the people at the reception.
I looked back at Rozzean. He looks nervous! He took a deep breath and then glanced at the person in charge of the music.
When I heard the music start and Rozzean began to sing, I held onto my wedding gown tightly.
“I need a love to keep me sane, pull me from hell, bring me back again.”
(The title of the song Rozzean is singing is “Angel Baby” by Troye Sivan. You can listen to it on YouTube while reading for the feels! I can’t include the lyrics due to rules, but the lyrics are beautiful and fit Rozzean’s feelings for Thaliana so well.)
Everyone was silent as Rozzean sang. My lips were about to split from the width of my smile. He has a beautiful voice! So soothing. When he sang “grow old with you,” I knew for sure.
“I love you…” I said while looking at him. I blew a flying kiss, and he caught it effortlessly while still singing.
The crowd, familiar with the song, sang along with him.
God…
That’s my husband!
When Rozzean approached me and took my hand, I stood up. He held me at the waist and slowly danced with me while singing. This is one of the best moments. It feels like I’m being lifted with joy. I can’t explain the happiness I’m feeling right now as I look at him.
“You’re my angel, angel baby angel, you are my angel baby…”
I leaned my head on his chest while he swayed. When the song ended, I thought it was okay. Rozzean put me back in my seat, and I saw Luther, who looked upset, and even Taki on the side went to the front. All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.
Taki was smiling and clapping.
“There’s more!” the emcee shouted.
When the next song played, laughter erupted from the people inside the reception. I couldn’t stop myself from laughing, especially when Rozzean, Luther, and even Taki started dancing. (The next song is Jumbo hotdog by Masculados)
They were dancing like the Masculados with jumbo hotdog moves!
I couldn’t breathe from laughing, especially when the chorus of the song started. Luther’s face looked so serious while dancing, and Rozzean, on the other hand, was looking at me and seemed to be enjoying what he was doing. He was really into it.
My siblings, especially my brother Grecion, were ecstatic. It seemed like they didn’t expect my husband to do this!
“Go bro-in-law! Shake it, brother-in-law!” shouted my brother Grand.
My siblings were so happy that they went to the middle and joined the dance.
“Can you handle the jumbo hotdog? Can you handle it?”
It was so much fun! Laughter filled the reception as everyone watched Rozzean dance. My jaw was aching from laughing, and I couldn’t help but shake my head every time they did their moves.
“Wooohh!”
When I saw Daddy and Uncle Royce standing while swaying their bodies, I shook my head. No! I can’t! They started to dance too!
“Go, honey!” Mommy shouted.
“Dance, my love!” Aunt Cynthia, who was close to my seat, yelled.
The laughter grew louder when Uncle Royce and Daddy started dancing.
“Woohh!” the people inside the reception shouted, while others couldn’t stop laughing at my family’s continued performance of the jumbo hotdog dance.
When I looked at Luther, he was glaring at Thes, who was taking a video and laughing. Thes held his stomach, still laughing and even bending down.
“Can you handle the jumbo hotdog? Can you handle it?”
Loud laughter filled the air, and I must be red-faced from laughing so much. I held my stomach while looking at Rozzean, who was really good at the jumbo hotdog dance.
Kids, your Daddy is dancing the jumbo hotdog. Full-on performance!
