Chapter 723 Blasting the Door Open

Chapter 723 Blasting the Door Open

"See that stone door to the chamber? Strike it and open the door immediately!" Jethro said.

Upon entering, they noticed the stone door behind Lyndon immediately. They were also surprised to

see that the entrance to the chamber was not as hidden as they had thought. However, they had no

idea how to open the door.

Lyndon was heavily injured and thus had no way of holding his own against those people. He could

only watch as they did whatever they wanted while praying that they would fail at opening the door.

Darren lifted Black Moon up and slashed it in the direction of the stone door violently. A metallic flash

was seen, and a gust of strength came out, swooshing toward the door.

It hit the door, making a deafening noise. The door, which looked exceptionally thick and weighted,

collapsed immediately after.

Lyndon was stunned. This door was erected from special materials, but it had been slashed open with

just a strike! The stone used to make this door had been painstakingly chosen. Where on Earth did this

guy's blade come from? How could it be so powerful?

If the door was opened, it meant that Balthazar would be in danger.

Jerry and his sons were dumbfounded at the sight. They did not expect Black Moon to be so powerful.

If they could learn the Black Moon Technique, how powerful would they be? No one dared to let their

imagination run wild.

The men from Skyarch Palace had swept away all obstacles and killed every single guard in the

residence, but they did not feel relaxed in the slightest as they had not captured the King yet.

If they failed to capture the King, it meant that their lofty plans would be just that. Only after controlling

the King could they do anything they wanted. If the King's reinforcements came, they would be thrust

into danger and they would not be able to recover from that. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

After the stone door was smashed open, everyone was met with a long tunnel.

"Charge! The King is surely inside!" Jerry shouted hurriedly, and the martial artists from Skyarch Palace

charged inside.

"Leave a few men outside to guard the entrance and keep an eye on Lyndon!" Jerry ordered.

"Yes, sir!" the experts replied.

Next, Jerry and his sons entered the tunnel. Lyndon watched as they did so. He felt anxious. It seemed

that Balthazar would be in danger.

He wanted to tell all the Champions about the situation, but he was being watched by the enemy's

men. He had no way of contacting the others.

When the men from Skyarch Palace entered, they saw no hide or hair of the King.

"Mr. Andrews, the King isn't here!" they said.

"That's impossible! You haven't looked properly, have you?" Darren said.

Jerry and the procession walked to the end of the tunnel, where they discovered another stone door.

There was a hidden chamber in the hidden chamber!

This was something none of them had expected.

Balthazar hid inside the chamber after entering the hidden tunnel. There was a satellite phone in the

chamber, which Balthazar used to call the reinforcements outside. However, no one answered after a

few calls, which made him anxious.

Helpless, Balthazar could only call Caspian. If Caspian heard about what was happening here, he

could call the other Champions and have them come over to rescue Balthazar.

However, he failed to reach Caspian. Even the other four Champions were unable to be contacted.

This made Balthazar panic. He suddenly realized that something was wrong with the phone and that

the signal was bad in the chamber, which made him unable to make any calls.

At this moment, he heard a loud noise. He realized that his whereabouts had been exposed. Looking at

the fierce men outside, Balthazar's heart went cold. It seemed that the guards outside the chamber had

also been killed. He asked in annoyance, "Who are you?"

"Have you heard of Skyarch Palace before?" Jethro asked.

"What palace? You dare enter my residence without permission. Do you want to die? Who orchestrated

it?" Balthazar asked, filled with questions.

"I'm the one behind the scenes, Your Majesty," a low voice said.

Everyone cleared a path, and Balthazar saw a man he was familiar with. It was Jerry Andrews,

followed by his two sons.

Never would Balthazar expect Jerry to be the one behind the scenes. Balthazar had thought that he

was targeted by men from enemy countries.

However, it turned out to be Jerry, who had no control over the military. He dared to orchestrate a

rebellion? This gave Balthazar a huge shock.

"Who gave you the courage, Jerry? You dare rebel?" Balthazar said, enraged.

"No need to be angry, Your Majesty. We won't do anything to you," Jerry said with a smile.

He knew that Balthazar was alone with no one able to help him, but he dared not conduct himself

without restraint. After all, Balthazar spoke and acted with the grandness characteristic of a king.

"Do you know that I can order that your whole family be executed by firing squad with what you're

doing now, Jerry?" Balthazar was furious. "Have I ever mistreated you? Why would you rebel?"

"We have served Diatoran for a hundred years, Your Majesty, but we weren't put in important positions

despite our wholehearted dedication. It should be my family's turn to stand proud in Diatoran now,

shouldn't it?" Jerry said.

Balthazar said, staring intently at Jerry, "What do you mean? Do you want to replace me and be the

King?"

Jerry laughed. He said mysteriously, "Even if I tell you everything, it'll be pointless. You'll know what I'm

planning later anyway."

Balthazar was perplexed as he had no idea what Jerry was planning. He took the opportunity to try

making calls through the satellite phone again. If he could contact his reinforcements, maybe he could

be saved.

"Don't waste your strength, Your Majesty. We blocked the signal here a long time ago," Jerry said

nonchalantly. Jerry only started the rebellion after making thorough preparations. He did not want a

mere phone call to render his efforts worthless.

Balthazar had a realization. This was why he had failed to make any calls; it was because the signal

here had long been blocked.

"You don't even have an army. Why would you be so brave as to start a rebellion? Do you want to die

that much?

"If you stop now, I can ensure that your family will live. If you insist on continuing, your regret at that

time will amount to nothing!"

Balthazar knew that he was alone and without anyone to help him, so he wanted to quickly make Jerry

stop.

He asked, "I'm curious about where you recruited this motley group from. I didn't expect you to be able

to enter this chamber!"
