Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 390

Chapter 390

Donnie seemed to know what he was up to, so he agreed.

Just then, Molly called out for Chad to hurry up and eat, or she would finish all the food.

After dinner, Molly leaned on Coleen’s shoulder on the couch. Coleen’s voice was tinged with a hint of

complaint, “Chad has been hospitalized for a while now. It’s widely spread. All of his colleagues have

visited him. However, his Aunts haven’t bothered to come to the hospital to see how he’s doing.”

Kendrick’s sister was very quick to call when she needed help to find a job. But she didn’t even bother

to call when Chad was in the hospital. And she was Chad’s aunt! Even Vivian had called to check on

Chad’s condition, but even so, Coleen didn’t like Vivian.

Her second sister, on the other hand, had called to inquire about the situation. Upon hearing that

everything was fine, she had no further comment.

Coleen vented her frustrations in front of her family. Molly was more open-minded. She hugged her

mother’s shoulder. “That’s why we have you as the founder of Chade Inc., and that’s why the son of the

person who called has to work for you. Right, dad?” All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

Kendrick added, “Correct. Actions determine patterns, and patterns determine our lives.”

Molly praised, “Dad, you hit the nail on the head. Mom, don’t worry about these trivial matters. If they

don’t come, it won’t matter at all. If they do, they will ask me to arrange a job for her son at Cedillo Inc.,

and they will subtly remind me that I’m not your child. They are a bunch of monsters. If they come,

they’ll only disturb my brother’s peace. I’ll have to be like Superman fighting monsters. It’ll tire me out.”

Grandma Aubree and Grandpa Elmer took a walk from the park to the hospital to visit their grandson.

After they arrived and sat for a while, they got up and went home. The room was once again left with

Molly and Chad.

......

In the Cedillo family house, Mia was lying in bed, rubbing her belly with an oily substance. “Please don’t

let me get stretch marks, please.”

Her baby replied, “It’s not up to me!”

The essential oil was something Andre had bought a while ago, but it had never been used. Now it

finally came in handy, but she was not happy about it. She feared that her husband would no longer

love her if her belly became ugly.

After hearing this, Andre laughed as if she had just told a joke. “Hmm, if you become ugly, I will stop

loving you.”

Mia, who was pregnant, kicked her husband in the butt and angrily told him, “We’ll sleep in separate

rooms!”

Andre just laughed, squeezing the foot that she had used to kick him. “Stop kidding around. I’ll love you

no matter what you look like.” He leaned over to kiss his wife’s lips.

“Honey, do you feel anything when you kiss me now?”

Andre was puzzled, “What kind of feeling?”

Mia furrowed her brow, looking like something big was about to happen. “Don’t tell me, we’ve lost our

passion so soon? Most couples lose their passion after ten or so years, and they won’t feel anything

when they kiss. We haven’t even been married a year. How can we have lost our passion?”

Andre sighed. What could he do except holding back and taking a cold shower? This was something

every man had to go through, but in his wife’s words, it had become a loss of passion.

“Mia, have you forgotten those nights before you were pregnant? After the baby is born, we can

continue.”

Mia immediately stopped him. “I’ll pass.”

“Marriage needs passion.”

Mia wanted to withdraw her words.

“By the way, honey, do you think men, uh, like Finley, can still have children?” Mia asked hesitantly.

She had wanted to ask her husband during the day, but there were always family members around.

This kind of conversation could only be held between husband and wife behind closed doors.

Andre was also a bit doubtful, but there were indeed some wealthy men who fathered children in their

seventies and eighties.

“Some people probably still have the ability to reproduce,” Andre guessed.

Mia’s eyes rolled around. She sneaked a glance at her husband, and then pursed her lips; she

sneaked another glance at him, and then felt frustrated.

Andre was waiting for his wife Mia to say something outrageous. Whenever she had this kind of

indescribable expression, Andre had to prepare himself mentally.

Mia crossed her legs, not letting her husband grab her foot. “Honey, let’s discuss something,” she said.

“When I get older and can’t have children anymore, can you get a vasectomy?”

Well, he did say that he needed to be mentally prepared!

“I’ll be sleeping with you whether I get a vasectomy or not. If you can’t have children, what’s the

difference?” Andre asked his wife.

Mia thought for a moment. “Eh? That’s true!”

She wanted her husband to get a vasectomy to prevent him from messing around outside. But she was

quite certain of her husband. He despised men who cheated on their wives, so he wouldn’t follow them.

The Cedillo family had a good reputation, with men who loved their wives and were devoted to them.

“Then you don’t need to do it. It’s a surgery, after all, and there are risks,” Mia said.

Andre laughed and pinched his wife’s cheek.

Mia glared at her husband with a disdainful look in her eyes. “Did you just use the hand you used to

grab my foot to pinch my face?”

Before long, Mia’s loud yell of “We’ll separate rooms” echoed through the bedroom again.

Andre laughed heartily, feeling very happy. No matter how chaotic the situation, he always felt relaxed

when facing Mia.

It was getting late. Molly hadn’t finished watching her movie. Chad had already washed up and was

lying in bed. He looked at his sister, who was still engrossed in her drama on her phone, and said,

“Come to bed and let me watch it with you.”

Molly was a girl after all. She felt it was inappropriate to lie next to her brother. So, she pulled up a chair

and sat next to Chad. Then she held up her phone to continue the movie.

Chad felt sorry for her as her arms were getting sore, so he took the phone and held it up for her to

make her more comfortable. “Molly, is what you said today true?”

“What?” She didn’t remember at all.

Chad’s eyes looked down. He was feeling disappointed. “Never mind. Keep watching your movie.”

As Molly watched the exciting scenes on her phone, she suddenly remembered the person who had

come to find Chad today. The leaf tattoo was special. Her thoughts wandered off. “Chad, I just

remembered something. You keep watching the movie. I’ll be right back.”

Molly, in her pajamas, ran to the nurse’s station and asked the nurse who was writing medical records.

“Hello, I was wondering if there’s a female patient with the last name Smith on this floor?”

Tom stood behind Finley, lowering his head in apology. “Boss, there was an incident with Chad... He’s

hurt, but it’s nothing serious.”

This sentence effectively meant that Finley had lost this round.

He had spent the day reaching out to numerous people about Wyatt, seeking any possible information.

But it seemed that Wyatt’s fate was doomed. For reasons unknown, Mars, the youngest heir of the

Arrowood family, had personally intervened in the matter, leaving Wyatt beyond saving.
