She Prince

Chapter 7

Wan ke’s P. O. V

The main hall is arranged with chabudai tables with four cushions placed around it in a row on the sides leaving the middle space empty.

Entering the noisy hall I make my way towards the table which is empty. Staying away from most of them will not cause any trouble because if I mingle with them I’m sure that they would find some clues.

Taking the kettle which is placed on the table I pour the green tea into the ceramic cup. Closing my eyes I move the cup to my lips and let the bittersweet liquid slide into my mouth refreshing my inner.

“Hey Keke,” I almost choke when the words ring into my ears, opening my eyes I place the cup on the table and wipe around my mouth with the back of my right palm.Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.

“Keke?,” I repeat curiously looking at Henyu who is taking his seat opposite to me.

“Yeah… my brother,” he laughs bringing his hand forward with his palm fisted into a ball. Smiling widely he stares at me when I look at him raising a brow amusingly my lips forms to smile, moving my hand from the table I wrap my palm around his fisted one.

“Yeah brother,” I chuckle.

Having one buddy won’t cause any trouble and he is not going to be around me always.

“Come. Come. Let’s drink,” pouring the green tea into the cups I raise one and he does it too “Best Brothers from now on,” we both cheer in unison as we let the corners of our cups hit against each other making a noise.

“Feels good,” Hen yu utters as he bites his lower lip with a smile.

Placing the cup on the table together we take the toothpick from the mini toothpick holder, looking at each other with a smile we prick the fruits which are laid on the plate , our eyes still looking at each other , we put the sliced kiwi in our mouths and we burst out laughing suddenly for our strange behaviour.

“Enjoying yourselves,” stopping the actions we look up to see who is it.

It’s Cheng Lie and his two followers standing beside him.

“Am I welcome to join your brotherhood Wanke,” he asks placing his right foot over the table he leans down to face me “Don’t bother Xiang anymore,” he states staring directly into my eyes while I try to figure out what he is talking about.

Tsk…

My lips twitch to a smile when the cloud of flashback plays over my head of the scene what happened yesterday in the house of Jin, he is the one who pulled Xiang away from me.

“You are not welcome here,” replying dryly I move my gaze away from him I look at Henyu who is gesturing me not to speak back with his eyes, taking the kettle I pour the little leftover tea into the cup ignoring him.

“Did you hear me?” Cheng lie raises his voice as everyone’s attention diverts to the scane, he kicks the cup on the table which makes the tea spill over the table and this got into my nerves.

Anyone who ruins my appetite is dead meat.

“What do you want?” I grit my teeth glaring at him while he smirks.

“Let’s fight to see who is stronger,” he states leaning close to my face.

“Didn’t your arrow land before mine,” I scoff looking away I take the sliced apple but before I could move it up to my mouth he shoves my hand which makes the apple drop to the table.

“You got the guts,” he utters his voice low and cold the atmosphere is captured by silence as all were watching us and the sound of some gasping could be heard.

Being the centre of attention is not something which I like.

“Ohh,” I hit the table with my hand and get up from my seat, he moves and stands straight.

“Let’s begin,” I tell calmly in a mocking tone looking at him with a smirk.

“Keke, don’t he is…..,”

“Okay,” Cheng li interrupts Hen yu who is trying to stop me “Let’s see what you’ve got,” he scoffs walking to the stage and his follower brings two swords which is kept for the practice. I walk to the stage and the crowd follows us too.

The right side of my lips moves upwards in the middle of the fight realising that he is indeed good at it. He brings the sword close to my stomach distracting me like it’s going to be to my neck, but taking his movement as an advantage I stop his sword with mine and twist it around letting it fly up and fall over the ground and the very next second my sword lays next to his neck in a swift moment even before the sound of the silver being hit on the ground stop and the surrounding gets filled up with claps and cheers.

Cheng Li stares at me his eyes widened in horror, his expression showing that he is astonished and didn’t expect it to come.

“Know to choose your opponent,” I say derisively in a low voice.

Moving the sword away I hand it over to one of Cheng Li’s people who came up to the stage immediately to check on him.

“You are amazing,” Hen yu comments walking behind me, while I try to get through the crowd who are cheering for me.

“Thank you,” I reply and hurry to the corner where I saw my roommate sitting and enjoying the tea ignoring the great show.

“Hey,” I call out aloud and take my seat opposite him.

“Did you watch me play,” I ask leaning forward resting my elbow on the table I place my chin over my palm.

Opening his closed eyes he looks at me and moves the cup away from his lips, placing the cup over the table his eyes meet mine while I’m waiting to hear his compliment.

“Boring,” he states dryly, my lips part when his words ring in my ears.

Boring… me…

“Hey,” I call out angrily noticing that he has gotten up from his seat. Giving me one more glance he walks away leaving me frustrated.

“I’m not boring,” I yell getting up from my seat “You are boring, I’m not even close to that word, Hey,” I bend low and collect the sunflower seed shells which are scattered on the table “No one has told me boring, you are the one. Cold face,” I throw the shells at him but none of them hit his figure as all landed over the ground and he walks away ignoring my words.

“I’ll make you regret,” Grunting in a low voice I stroll out to my dorm.

I’m going to stay on the bed and capture the whole bed as the beds are not separated, the two beds are placed next to each other and let’s see where he is going to sleep.

Smiling at my thoughts I walk into the room and my smile drops instantly when my eyes meet him who is seated on the bed reading a book.

Okay… I’ll try next time.

“Brother Lei,” I walk towards the bed and sitting on the edge opposite to him “The single room can be taken by you right?,” I ask fluttering my eyes at him with a fake smile plastered on my face.

Removing his gaze from the book he looks straight at me “Obey the rules,” he states dryly.

This is the first time I hear him speak three words and his vocal is as same as his face…. too cold.

“The rule is the one who shoots it far away can take the single room,” I explain pointing my finger in the air.

“Faraway?” he raises a brow at me questionably which made me to purse my lips against each other.

Oh.. yeah… our arrows were close by but when I asked Master Ling for a single room he told me that Feng Lei can move out if he wills after soo much begging.

Did he mean it or did he say because convincing this person is like asking a rock to move away?

“Noisy,” he growls low, placing the book on the side of the bed he lays down placing his head on the pillow and closes his eyes.

Staring at him for a while I sigh in relief, moving to a side I grab the extra pillow and place it in between us as a barrier.

“Do not pass the barrier,” I warn glaring at the person who is asleep.
