Chapter 934

Skylar stood beside Paul and waited for 15 minutes.

Then, she met Joe. He had taken his shirt off, and he was covered in bandages.

“Take a nap. I’ll be in the neighboring bed. Call me if you need anything,” Skylar said gently.

Skylar’s expression turned grim. She glanced at Joe. Then, she got out of bed and headed over to open the door.

As she was about to get there, Joe spoke suddenly. He didn’t sound like he’d just woken up when he said, “Turn on the lights.”

“Alright.” Skylar walked to the door and did as she was asked. Before she opened the door, she turned back and glanced at Joe.
