Chapter 611 They've Met Again, So Soon
There was nothing the man could do to Sophia, so he just got up and left.
Seeing that Sophia walked back outside the examination room, the man took out his phone and made
a call.
"Miss Lawson, I just ran into Mrs. Riley. She smashed my camera. Sorry, all photos are gone."
"Mrs. Riley? Sophia?"
"Yep, that's her."
"Okay, noted."
The man thought Cathy Lawson was going to blame him, but she didn't. He thought maybe she would
let this go. This content provided by N(o)velDrama].[Org.
Meanwhile, Cathy slightly squinted with a poker face, and no one could read her mind.
Helena was almost done with her medical examination after two hours.
She was worried, so she had Sophia come into the doctor's office with her.
Sophia held Helena's hand tightly to comfort her.
After checking all the reports, the doctor smiled, "Don't worry, Ms. Warburg. You are all fine. There's
nothing wrong with your body."
Helena heaved a sigh, but soon she got anxious again.
"I've been married for almost three months; why haven't I gotten pregnant?"
She had been in many shows where the role would get knocked up after having sex once. But she
hadn't gotten pregnant after trying with Travis numerous times without using contraception.
"Many reasons could cause this, like the positions you are using, your mood, the environment, and the
fact that you've been staying up late. I'd say you should take at least six months of rest."
Hearing what the doctor had just said, Helena was assured.
She and Sophia walked out, and Sophia was still holding her hand, "See, no need to worry. It's okay."
Helena nodded.
Travis ran over to them when they had just walked out of the hospital gate.
"Helena, are you not feeling well? Why don't you tell me you are going to see a doctor?"
Helena gave Sophia a look subconsciously, which seemed like asking Sophia if she was the one who
told Travis.
Sophia shrugged, "I have no idea why Travis' here. I didn't call him."
Travis explained, "Cathy called me."
"Cathy?" Sophia wondered, "How does she know we are here?"
"She was here just now. And she left as she had something else to do."
Helena and Travis were talking, but Sophia stopped paying attention after she heard the name "Cathy".
She wondered, 'Cathy's here in Sealand? What is she up to?'
'Is she coming for me?'
"What's wrong, Sophia?" Travis just noticed that Sophia was absent-minded.
"Nothing. Travis, since you are here, take her home. I'll go by myself."
"Sure."
Travis then left with Helena.
But Helena sensed that there was something wrong with Sophia. So she texted Sophia on the way
back.
"Do you think Cathy might be up to something this time she came here?"
"Hard to say. I haven't met her yet."
"Well, if you see her, do not have any scruples, just do what you gotta do."
"I see."
They didn't keep texting. Helena then put away her phone.
Sophia was thinking if she should give Cathy a call since she had gotten here. And her phone rang with
the caller ID saying Cathy before she made a decision.
Sophia picked it up, and a synthetic voice came from the phone.
"Sophia, I didn't think you would take my call!"
"Why wouldn't I? Travis told me you came to Sealand. I was just thinking about calling you and inviting
you to dinner!"
Sophia and Cathy were cousins but didn't get along very well. Sophia's life couldn't have been this
peaceful and easy if it weren't for the fact that William Lawson and his family had moved abroad with
her grandma.
But Sophia did get disturbed now that Cathy suddenly came to Sealand after so many years.
"Sophia, have you forgiven me?"
"That's past history. I don't have to dwell on that. By the way, why didn't you tell me you were coming,
and I would have picked you up."
"It's okay. I'm here for work, and everything gets settled. I was just wondering if we should probably
meet after so many years."
Sophia nodded, curious about what Cathy was up to this time, "Okay, then. What do you prefer to eat?
It's on me."
"Sophia, now that you are married, Grandma specifically told me to prepare a present for my niece.
How about dinner at your place tonight?"
Sophia slightly squinted as she didn't get what Cathy was planning.
"Sure!"
"Send me your address. I'll have my chauffeur take me there."
Sophia sent her the address.
After hanging up, Sophia called Travis to tell him that Cathy was going to have dinner at her place and
ask if he had time to come over.
Travis said he couldn't, as he had other plans.
Then Sophia called home to prepare a fancy dinner.
It was about time, and Sophia picked Bonnie up from Emma's when Cathy arrived in a car.
"Sophia!"
Cathy, who was in a pretty dress with curly hair, ran over to Sophia and gave her a big hug.
It was such a fake hug, but Sophia hugged back as she had been through much like this.
Bonnie stared at them with a confused look, especially at Cathy. Bonnie kept looking at them and
asked in bewilderment, "Mommy, this woman looks like you!"
Cathy let go of Sophia and crouched to look at Bonnie before Sophia could say something. She then
said with a smile, "You are Bonnie, right?"
Cathy had a smile on her face, but somehow Bonnie just didn't like her.
But Bonnie behaved decently. She nodded, "Yes, I'm Bonnie. Who are you?"
Cathy introduced herself with a smile, "I'm Cathy, your mother's cousin, which means you have to call
me auntie."
"Auntie!"
Bonnie called nicely.
Cathy squeezed her little cheek, "Aww, you are so cute! By the way, Bonnie, guess what I brought you!"
Then a 24-inch-tall doll appeared in front of Bonnie.
She was surprised by this doll with its exquisite craftsmanship and gorgeous makeup, which looked
perfect.
