Before Sophie could finish her sentence, a piercing sound of electricity accompanied by a violent crash came through the phone. Sophie immediately felt a sense of foreboding and quickly said to Colby, "Colby, let's go! Something's happened to Adler!"

Harold quickly organized a search for Adler, and Sophie and Colby left the Aldridge Estate without delay, fearing any wasted time. It was clear from the phone call that Adler had been in a car accident.

Colby quickly located Adler's position, and an ambulance was swiftly dispatched.

"Colby, don't worry, the ambulance is already on its way," Sophie said, watching Colby speed along, growing more worried by the minute.

Sophie was uneasy. She knew Jenna's abilities; an ordinary person couldn't possibly take her away.

"We're not sure yet. We'll have to go to the Tredgold family's place to find out."

Colby's gaze grew somber.
