After he was gone, Roslin said to Lily Wilson, "Ms. Wilson, you see, if we keep a student with improper behavior like him, our school’s reputation is only going to get worse. For our college, I sincerely hope we can give him a lesson. He'll get hurt if we let it slide."
Ms. Wilson laughed with anger.
Having been a dean for so many years, this was her first time being lectured by a student.
Ms. Wilson pulled the corners of her mouth and said, "You're very good."
Ms. Wilson left. Mr. White looked at her with a troubled face. The little girl looked delicate on the outside, but she was so tough on the inside.
"Don't do that again,” said Mr. White with a stern look.
“Okay.” Roslin answered docilely.
Mr. White shook his head and left
Half an hour later, Roslin went back to her seat. Her classmates all showed a "sure enough" expression when seeing her come back safe and sound. As soon as the bell rang, the teacher came into the classroom in high heels.
"Be quiet.”
Jane looked around the classroom, and when her eyes swept the seat in the last row by the window, her expression trembled a bit. and a look of disbelief appeared in her eyes.
She immediately thought of the new transfer student. To her surprise, the student that made Ms. Wilson so angry was such a pretty girl. "As they say. one should never judge a book by its cover."she thought to herself.
Roslin opened the book. The contents inside were both unfamiliar and familiar.
In her previous life, to please her parents, she studied very hard by doing lots of exercises. She thought that so long as she got good grades, her parents would be happy and proud of her.
With her unremitting efforts, she did it. On the first monthly test, she came in first in the class and third in the grade.
She thought she would get praise, or at least a word of comfort or smiles from her parents when she happily handed over the report to them. However, when she joyfully gave the report to her mother, it was swept to the ground by her.
Till today, she still remembered how her mother told her off with an angry look, and afterwards, her brother Zed just tore the report into pieces. Facing their misunderstanding, she wanted to explain badly, but no one believed her.
Everyone was comforting Linda, who didn't do well on the test.
They didn't care about her successively getting good grades, but instead, they celebrated with a banquet in the house for Linda getting a mediocre score.
At last, she didn't know whether it was because her good grades stimulated Linda. Her good mother told her not necessarily to do very well on tests because they didn't need her to do so.

Looking back on the past events in the previous life, a self-deprecating smile appeared on her face.
In this life, she didn't have to pretend anymore; she would be herself.
She, Roslin, was worse than nobody.
Listening to the teaching of the teacher, the forgotten memories and knowledge were gradually coming back.
At this time, outside the window came a roar of motorbikes. The loud noise echoed around the campus.
