Chapter 882 – Come with Me or Die with Me
It would drag them down, they’ve already accomplished something, there’s absolutely no need to destroy it, and they all have families too, it’s not worth it.
So with slow guidance and mobilization, they handed over more lists, which made it much easier to find people, with photos, and with big data, there was basically nothing to hide.
“Daddy, how is Mommy now?” Tavish was still worried about Nydia.
“Mommy is fine, you send Mommy a voice, she can listen.”
Tavish was instantly happy and immediately sent voice to Nydia, “Mommy, I miss you so much.”
Nydia, who was drawing a comic, felt her cell phone vibrate, but at that moment, Fernand was right in front of her, so she refrained from looking at her phone just to be on the safe side.
However, her mind was read by Fernand.
“Take a look, maybe it’s some important news.” Fernand said with a smile.
“I’ll finish drawing it first.”
Fernand reached for it, and Nydia subconsciously tried to snatch it back, but held back hard.
People had to keep their heads down under the roof, and the fact that she was able to use her cell phone was already the highest level of treatment.
She didn’t know how Fernand did it, anyway, but the phone unlocked, then opened her Facebook and tapped on Jesse’s dialog.
“It’s a voice, I’ll listen to it.”
A voice? How could it be a voice?
Tavish’s voice came in the next second.
“Your son’s voice.”
“Uh-huh.”
“You have four children now …,” Fernand let out a tersely sigh, “what a man Jesse is.”
Nydia didn’t answer.
It turned out that Fernand replied directly from her Facebook number and also sent a voice reply:
“Let Molly talk or I’ll punch your mommy.” And then he smiled smugly at Nydia.
While Tavish was furious when he received the message, Jesse was the one who heard the joke in it, but called for Molly to talk.
“Mommy Mommy, it’s Molly, are you okay? Did the bad guys bully you?”
“Bad people don’t talk, I want to talk to Mommy!”
Instead of getting angry at the two voices, Fernand handed the phone to Nydia.
“Molly, it’s mommy, mommy is fine now, don’t worry.” Nydia sent a voice.
This reassured both children as it sounded like there was nothing wrong with the voice.
Nydia was eager to hear both children’s voices a few more times.
However, Fernand’s comment was the one that almost made her drop the phone in her hand.
“If we had a daughter, I think it would be great too.”
The comment made Nydia’s sweat stand on end.
“No way!” She refused outright, acting tough, or the silence would only make Fernand think she was acquiescing.
She stayed over here for almost half a month, every day was more or less the same, but that didn’t let her let her guard down, the short comic was finally finished, following the plot Fernand had given her.
In the plot Fernand is still the crazy batch persona, the heroine in it, she doesn’t want to think about it too much, she won’t be substituting herself anyway, it doesn’t matter what Fernand thinks.
Fernand packaged up her drawings and had them printed.
It didn’t take long for the comic book to come out, a thin one but exquisitely done, after all, it was Fernand’s request and he didn’t dare to slack off.
“Do you think anyone will buy this comic of mine if I publish it?” He asked Nydia.
“Put your name on it when you publicize it, and someone should buy it.”
“Bringing my name will make it a lapel book, right?”
“Then it can only be with my name on it, so it will sell.”
“Good.”
Chatting like this, if you didn’t bring in the background, it would really be mistaken as just casual conversation between friends.
However, this seemingly peaceful atmosphere was soon broken.
Someone rushed in to report to Fernand, “Chief, they’re here.”
“Finally they’re here ah, it’s still a bit slower than I thought.” Fernand was in no hurry, as if everything was expected.
“Is the helicopter ready?”
“It’s ready.”
“Well, simply pack your things and go.”
Fernand got up and went into his room, when he came back out he had changed his clothes, he glanced at Nydia, “Let’s go, you’re coming with me.”
Nydia was wearing dress pants, there was nothing inconvenient about traveling.
She was pulled by Fernand’s wrist.
“I won’t be able to protect you in a while, so keep yourself close to me in case something happens.” Fernand told her.
“You protect me?” Did that sound so ridiculous.
Fernand didn’t explain.
He took Nydia away.
There was a lot of movement from the helicopter, they weren’t really close to it, and there was no telling what would happen along the way if they walked there.
“Fernand, you’re surrounded, surrendering is the best thing for you now, don’t be stubborn!”
“I’ll let Nydia go, but you’ll let me go and promise not to arrest me and let me out of the country where I’ll never enter? How?” Fernand responded.
The request was clearly excessive.
If Fernand had made this request before, the people above him might have agreed, but now that he had caused so many explosions and there were so many casualties, there was absolutely no way he would be let go.
But Nydia’s safety needs to be guaranteed again, and it comes down to a dilemma.
They seek a meeting with Jesse.
“Can we promise him first and then look for another opportunity?”
“With Fernand’s savvy, he’ll ask us to sign an agreement, and once we do, it wouldn’t be good for us to go back on our word.”Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
“But it’s possible to wait until he’s gone abroad to discuss the matter.”
After all, if something were to happen to him abroad, there would be many ways to say it.
“It’s mainly because I’m worried about him playing tricks, after all, it’s normal for him to go back on his word.”
The meeting went on with some difficulty, and with time running out, they didn’t have that much time to wait.
For Fernand was at it again.
“I’m taking Nydia over to the helicopter now, and you’d better get back to me soon or I’m either going to take my people with me or we’re all going to turn into corpses.”
Fernand had his gun pointed at Nydia’s head, one pull of the trigger and she’d be shot in the head.
There are snipers everywhere, Fernand’s men on one side and the police on the other.
And in a hidden place, Frederick and Theo were at a high point, both of them desperately trying to find a suitable spot to snipe Fernand.
“Fernand knows the sniper’s point too well, and he’s doing a good job of keeping himself out of the way.”
“And once we shoot, Fernand will die and so will Lady Nydia.” The sniper on Fernand’s side would definitely take a shot as well.
At that moment Fernand was leading Nydia to where the helicopter was parked.
While walking, Nydia suddenly broke her foot and almost fell to it, thus changing the position between her and Fernand.
Theo immediately seized the opportunity and shot at Fernand, but Fernand reacted quickly.
But Fernand’s reaction was also fast, surprisingly dodging the shot.
But naturally he couldn’t hold on to Nydia while he was dodging, and Nydia took the opportunity to get out of his grip, only now she was still in a very dangerous situation.
