Chapter 17 - The Oracle
Prince Justus POV
The horses stopped in front of us and a soldier got down. "Prince Justus, Princess Gracia and companions are requested to appear before the White Witch Queen Fiona immediately to attend to an urgent matter."
We follow the soldiers back to the Blue Palace and then after they dismount they take us to the throne room. Queen Fiona is talking to someone at her right, probably an advisor of some kind, but quickly straightens up when she sees us enter the throne room. Today she is dressed in a navy blue mermaid dress with tiny diamonds stitched all over the dress making it look like the night sky with stars. She does not smile and her attitude remains serious.
"Prince Justus and Princess Gracia please, I want to talk to you in my library." She says as she steps down from her throne and dismisses her advisor.
The Queen steps down from her throne and we cross the hall into, yet again, another blue room. This room is rounded on two walls. On the ceilings cherubims have been painted playing harps and the ceiling is glass coming together at a gold tip, the walls are made of marble, and on the floor is a deep navy blue carpet with gold trimmings. The furniture is a deeply polished redwood with navy blue cushions with gold trimming to match the carpet. Queen Fiona pulls out a textbook from one of the many shelves and lays it open on a redwood desk. The book shows a picture of several vampires fighting a small group of werewolves wearing royal attire. One vampire and werewolf seem to be singled out in the drawing. They each have on a crown with their royal attire.
"An oracle came to visit me yesterday and he foretold of a great evil that will be taking over the world that we must fight against. The evil will start in the werewolf kingdom and then spread from there like a black plague killing everything in its path." She looks up at the glass ceiling like she is reading something in the sky.
"Yeah his name is Achard." I answer dryly.
"Who is Achard?" She takes a step closer to me, suddenly very interested in what I have to say.
"He is my older half brother. He is half vampire and half werewolf. My father has given over the crown to him. I do not know if it has been made official yet or not." I answered her.
"Then you must leave at once.for the Land of Brujah." The Queen says.
"What is in the Land of Brujah?" Gracia asks, looking around at our group.
"It is where most of the vampires reside and where the king and queen vampires live. I have been friends with Prince Cassius for a long time and his parents King Damon and Queen Marceline. Prince Cassius and I practically grew up together and his parents never did care for Achard. They will help us stop him." I tell Gracia.
"Should we go there first before we destroy the key to the Gates of Guinee?" I ask, a bit confused about the schedule of events.
"Yes, because by going to them first they can begin to shut off assistance to Achard's coven and build up the means to remove him from power. They may even send guards with you to destroy the key." Queen Fiona explains.
As we leave the Blue Palace for the second time I am reminded to send a new message to Assistant Tielo and let him know of our next move to the Land of Brujah to meet with King Damon and Queen Marceline of the Vampires. We are hoping they will assist us in our quest to destroy the key and to overthrow Achard should it come to that.
Mack POV
While everyone else is talking with the queen I go in search of my wolf's mate. I finally find her walking between rooms carrying a bundle of dried herbs. She looks perfect with dark hair that has a touch of dark blue to it flowing down to her waist and the brightest blue eyes I have ever seen. It makes me wonder if her wolf is a midnight blue wolf which would be very rare. She is wearing a light blue dress that really brings out her eyes, the sleeves are cut in the middle and do not go past her elbow at the top they are gathered by a gold pin, and the skirt has tiny diamonds sewn into it and flows while she walks. She looks like a goddess to me.
'Go talk to her!' Maikoh, my wolf, yells at me.
'I will just give me a second to get prepared. Stop being so impatient. Good things come to those that wait.' I say as I am trying to work up my confidence
'You are slowly killing me. Do you realize that? You are slowly killing me. I swear if you screw this up I am never talking to you ever again!' Maikoh says, very annoyed. 'Stop being so melodramatic.' I quickly retort back.

I rub my hands together, I do not know why but it is my thing and Maikoh is silently rolling his eyes at me, as I walk up to her. "Hi my name is Mack and I have noticed you around lately. Would you like to go for a walk?"
She smiles the most beautiful smile I have ever seen. "Yes I would love to go for a walk with you and my name is Amice. There is a beautiful garden to the south of the castle if you would like to walk there."
"Sounds great to me." I nod my head and let her lead the way. "So, do you have a wolf?" I ask her once we get outside.
"Yes, my father was a werewolf and my mother was a forest witch. My wolf's name is Artemis. She is named after the goddess of wild animals. She said that you are my mate." She tells me while looking up at me underneath her thick eyelashes. "My father is Gamma Gosse for the King of the Werewolves. When we return home from our quest I will take his place as the new gamma at Loches Castle. My wolf's name is Maikoh. Maikoh means wolf and leader of the pack. He has also told me that we are mates. But I cannot stay here permanently. Will you be willing to leave with me and join me on my journey?

Third POV
Beta Augusto, Delta Ermo, and Gamma Gosse sat in the beta's office discussing the news that the messenger just brought them from the tracker sent to follow Achard. "Well, we know where their coven is. That is at least some good news." Gamma Gosse says trying to look for something positive out of what they've been told.
"They plan to send vampires after our sons to kill them and take back this key that, from what I understand, could throw the entire world into a pit of darkness where Achard would rule. I think it is time we took this to the king." Delta Ermo says as he stands up.
"Before we go to the king we need to capture one of his vampires and get them to talk. Once we have them talking we will have irrefutable evidence against Achard." Beta Augusto said, standing up from his desk and meeting Delta Ermo in the eyes. Bozhena POV
I have set my eyes on Achard and I want him badly. I have begun flirting with him but he seems to ignore my indirect attempts so I am going to up my game. I need to be more direct with him and I have just the red dress to do it with. I knock on the door to his study.
"Come in." Archard grumbles rather moodily. I ignore the mood as I can turn any frown upside down.
I slip inside wearing a red dress that fits my curves just right, there are double slits along both sides of the dress clear up to my hips, the back is completely open, anid the front shows ample cleavage. He lets out a large sigh but I ignore it and let it slide by. I sit down on top of his desk and cross both of my legs in front of him.
"If you are trying to impress me you should be kneeling on the floor rather than sitting on the desk." Achard tells me with a smirk. Finally, I have some kind of reaction from him.Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
