Chapter 394

Chapter 394

Brodie dashed forward, wrapping his arms around his mother in a protective embrace.

“Mom, don’t be scared. I won’t let anyone hurt you.”

Katherine was shaking her head frantically, slipping into hysteria, mumbling incessantly, “She’s going to kill my son. Hurry and save my boy. Don’t let her. He’s still so young.”

Teo’s heart clenched painfully at the sight of Katherine in such a state.

He landed a swift kick to Sierra’s knee. His voice was icy and sharp. “You’re asking for it!”

Stumbling backward, Sierra collapsed into a wheelchair.

She glared at Katherine. Her face twisted as she chewed on her words, recalling what she had just said.

“Teo, you hit me for another woman? Do you have no conscience? Even if I did wrong, I gave you children. You can’t be this heartless.”

Teo’s forehead throbbed with visible veins of anger.

When they reached the hospital floor, he shielded Katherine and Clara as they stepped out of the elevator.

Then, with a cold command, he ordered, “Take this madwoman back, and don’t let her out until I say so.”

“Teo, why can other women see my son, but I can’t? Are you and her... have you been together all along? Is that why you want to divorce me?”

As Teo saw Katherine trembling with fear and Sierra pressing aggressively, he raised his hand and struck Sierra. This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.

“If you spout any more nonsense, believe me, I could end you right here,” he said coldly.

Sierra saw stars from the blow.

At that moment, Clara emerged from another elevator, clutching a bag of ointment.

Upon seeing the confrontation, she froze, and her hands instinctively covered her belly. She was fearing for her unborn child’s safety from Sierra’s madness.

But her protective gesture didn’t go unnoticed by Sierra, whose eyes flickered with malice before turning tearfully to Clara.

“Clara, please let me see Ian just once. Then I’ll leave. He’s my son, and he’s lying there unconscious. I’m so worried I can’t sleep.”

Clara stepped back. Her gaze was icy. “Do you not know how he got hurt? Even if he was awake, the last person he’d want to see would be you. Please leave. Don’t disturb him.”

After saying that, she tried to guide Katherine into the hospital room.

Sierra’s wailing echoed behind them.

“Clara, I was your mother’s best friend, if only I had known you were...”

Before she could finish, Teo covered her mouth and then turned to Clara. “Take them to the room.”

Once Clara and Brodie were out of earshot, Teo released Sierra. His voice was stern. “Take her away and shut her up!”

The bodyguard, seeing the situation, didn’t hesitate to slap tape over Sierra’s mouth and forcibly remove her.

Teo exhaled sharply. The fear of what could have happened still lingered. Sierra had almost revealed Clara’s true lineage in a twisted attempt to cause a miscarriage.

Thinking of the fact that this woman was the mother to Ian and Greta, Teo clenched his fist in frustration, then strode toward the hospital room.

As he pushed the door open, Katherine broke free from Brodie’s hold and lunged at him. Tears streamed down her face. Her voice was desperate. “Please, don’t let her kill my boy. He’s still so little. I beg you.”

The sight of her tears and the sound of her plea felt like a knife twisting in Teo’s heart.
