Chapter 2202
Chapter 2202
"You bad man! You bad, bad man!"
Aurelia was furious. She threw her utensils aside, covered her eyes and wailed manically.
Lucas looked at her, stunned. He raised his hand and was about to return the coin and apologize to her. "I'm sorry my dear, I didn't mean to. I'll give you the coin, so you can be lucky. Alright?"
"No!" Aurelia screamed and cursed at him. "You're bad man, b*stard!"
"Hey, children shouldn't swear!" Lucas placed his hands on the table and said sternly, "I'm your guest. You should be polite to your guests. Your daddy and mommy will punish you if you cause a ruckus!"
Aurelia paused for a moment when she heard him say this. She then cried even louder.
I quickly got up and went to comfort her.
I held Aurelia in my arms. I then gently and patiently comforted her, "It's alright, it's alright. It's fine even if you didn't get the coin. We'll give you all of our luck. You're still the luckiest one here..."
While I was trying my best to comfort her, Lucas had taken my seat and was preparing to eat as though nothing had happened.
Hendrix placed down his utensils, he looked frighteningly cold as he ordered Lucas to leave. "We're having a family dinner tonight, so we outsiders aren't welcome. I'll see you off."
Before Lucas could respond, we heard another person speaking awkwardly at the door. "Mr. Roberts, no need to be so mean. There's a saying in Zuckerburg, 'It's always a pleasure to welcome friends who have travelled from afar'. You don't intend to drive your guests away, do you?"
The person who walked in was Quinn. Standing next to him was a gorgeous woman in heavy makeup who was much taller than he was. She had an excellent figure. Her red dress and stilettos highlighted her curves, which made her very eyecatching. What stood out the most was her deep cleavage.
If these two walked the streets, anyone could tell that Quinn was a man with a very different social status.
When they got closer, I was able to see the woman's face. I was disgusted at who it was.
It really was her, Andrea. Compared to before, she had completely remade her face with plastic surgery. Her usual look of pride and disdain for me hadn't changed however.
There was a saying, 'The kind didn't live long and the good-for-nothings would live for a thousand years." A lot of people came and went in my life. The dead stayed dead and the The ones who left never came back. She was the only one who constantly worked her way to a quick death.
They had made their way to the dining table as he said this.
"Long time no see." Andrea tilted her head to the side, smiling at us as she bared her teeth. She was being exceptionally polite and even behaved very lady-like.
If I didn't know about her past, I would have been easily fooled by her.
Long time no see? I'd rather not see you at all!
They were definitely up to no good and I didn't want them to ruin our New Year's Eve dinner. I put on a long face and was about to come up with an excuse for them to leave.
But just then, a servant ran into the room.
"Mr. Roberts, Mrs. Roberts, we have more guests."
As soon as she said this, we heard footsteps of someone in leather shoes and another in high heels coming from the hall. Not long after, Jordan and Naomi appeared with smiles on their faces. Content

Both Hendrix and I were horrified. The one person that should have been home on this occasion wasn't here, but those that shouldn't be here at all had gathered here instead.NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.
What was going on?!
Jordan began to speak with his
superbly hypnotic voice again, "Looks like we're all here at the right time. A New Year's Eve dinner is only complete when it's enjoyed with family members after all." Content

He then issued an order to our servant, "Please bring a few extra plates and cutleries."
