Chapter 775
Chapter 775
Kevin observed as Bradley made threatening remarks and sarcastically retorted, "What are you going
to do, huh? Plan on letting Esther die right in front of Felix? Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.
"Bradley, do you even understand how you got to this point? It's because you never treated the woman
who gave birth to your children like a real person. You've never shown Esther the respect she
deserves!"
"Very well, Kevin!" Bradley's fist slammed onto Kevin's desk with a heavy thud. "You want to oppose
me too?"
Kevin shook his head and calmly replied, "No, I'm not opposing you. I stand on the side of justice."
Bradley turned away indifferently, walked to the office door, and glanced back at Kevin to declare,
"You're fired!"
Kevin nonchalantly shrugged, removed the work badge hanging around his neck, and placed it on the
desk. "Bradley, working with heartless people like you made me feel like I was aiding a tyrant.
Goodbye."
After Bradley left, Kevin systematically organized his work tasks.
He called Oliver and reported, "Mr. Quill, Bradley just came to me and asked about Felix's
whereabouts. I suspect he wants to use him to threaten Esther."
-
After hanging up, Oliver turned to Gabriel and said, "Mr. Sinclair, please continue."
Gabriel handed over two cards he had found at the scene of the car accident and the fire that had
involved Faye previously.
"This is the card I found at the scene of the car accident.
"This is the card from back then.
"The front of both cards features poppy flowers as the main pattern, but the new one is signed 'X'."
Oliver carefully examined these two cards and asked, "Mr. Sinclair, what does this mean?"
"I suspect that 'X' represents the drug traffickers," Gabriel stated, his gaze darkening. "I have a feeling
that the downfall of the Pendletons is part of the drug traffickers' plan. Or maybe everything happening
now is all part of X's scheme."
"Mr. Sinclair, why do you say that?"
"I have someone undercover by Richard's side. It seems someone is pressuring him to hand over
something. I don't know what it is, but he hasn't given it up yet. He's keeping it as a lifeline.
"Oliver, what I'm unsure of now is whether this car accident was aimed at me or Esther.
"If it's targeting Esther, then the fact that Cyrus was a DEA agent can't remain a secret. The drug
traffickers from back then will undoubtedly seek revenge. But if that's the case, when was Esther's
identity exposed? It's a puzzle, and all these mysteries need to be unraveled!"
Oliver pondered for a moment and decided to inform Gabriel that Bradley had abducted Esther.
"What did you say? Bradley Warner! How dare he?" Gabriel was furious and upset. With Thomas gone,
was there no one who could control Bradley?
"Hold on, I'll make a call!" Gabriel seethed. "It's me. There's a disc on the third bookshelf in my study,
on the fourth section from left to right. Bring it to me!"
That young Bradley! He had promised to treat Esther well when he was a child. How did he grow up to
be so unfeeling?
"Let's go. We need to rescue that girl."
Oliver also made a call.
-
Soon, the police, SWAT teams, and search dogs were all deployed.
Warner Manor was surrounded.
Seeing this situation, Mandy couldn't help but call Bradley and urgently exclaim, "Bradley, something
has happened at home!"
