Chapter 721
Chapter 721
Xara placed a pile of test reports in Bradley's lap and said, "Bradley, this is Felix's file. I've conducted a
psychological evaluation, and it indicates that his mutism is due to psychological factors. If you have
doubts, consult a specialized child psychologist for another assessment."
Naturally, Bradley had doubts about Xara, given her previous involvement in helping Esther fake
amnesia. He could easily be deceived again.
"Kevin, go get a child specialist."
Reluctantly, Kevin asked, "Bradley, even if you don't trust her, you should trust me. Do you think I would
lie? I won't say more. Just go see Felix, and you'll understand."
Kevin led Bradley to where Felix sat quietly, absorbed in a book. Felix briefly looked up at them as they
approached but soon returned to his book.
"Felix, who am I?" Bradley lifted Felix, but the latter only gazed back with his clear, wide eyes. His lips
were tightly sealed, and he couldn't speak.
"Speak, who am I to you?" Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.
Felix remained silent.
Kevin sternly observed Bradley's rough actions. "Bradley, you're being too harsh."
Determined, Bradley pinched Felix's jaw and forced his mouth open. He used the flashlight on his
phone to check Felix's throat, which showed no signs of redness or inflammation. Why wouldn't Felix
speak?
"Felix! Speak!"
Felix just stared at Bradley, refusing to talk or convey anything through his body language.
"Mr. Warner, don't treat Felix this way," Xara intervened, her voice strained. "I'll take Felix with me for
now. You can come see me when you're in a better emotional state."
Bradley was unwilling to let Felix be taken away and moved to stop her, but Oliver stepped in, saying
coldly, "Warner, you should consult a child psychologist to evaluate your son."
The situation involved Felix, and Bradley's attitude abruptly changed. He turned to Kevin. "Get a
specialist."
Kevin nodded. "I've already contacted one."
Initially, Kevin wasn't sure what had happened to Felix. However, as Felix continued to remain silent,
and after several medical examinations, Kevin gradually realized the psychological trauma Bradley's
actions had caused.
"Bradley, think about how Felix's psychological issues can be addressed."
Bradley growled, "My son isn't unwell."
"Think about what you did to Esther in front of Felix. Why do you believe your son has such strong
psychological endurance? But forget it, I won't explain further. He's your son. If you don't care, why
should I?"
Bradley paid no attention to Kevin and instead confronted Oliver, his tone menacing. "Mr. Quill, what do
you want exactly? Are you trying to separate me from my child?"
"Warner, that's a question I should be asking you. What are your intentions? When you took Esther,
what were your intentions? Do you think we are easy to intimidate? I'll warn you, it wasn't your strength
last time that saved you, but my concern for Felix."
Bradley sneered. "I didn't realize you had a penchant for breaking up couples."
"Mutual affection and a loving relationship make a couple. Considering how you treated Esther, what
I'm doing could be seen as rescuing an abused woman at best!" Oliver quipped.
