Chapter 718
Chapter 718
Bradley wanted Esther to be by his side always—never to leave him. He had never thought of Esther
dying!
'Esther! Wake up! I command you to wake up right now!' Bradley's cold eyes brimmed with tears, and
his thin lips trembled uncontrollably.
"Daddy, will Mommy die?" Felix gazed at Bradley, who struggled to contain his emotions. "Will Mommy
die?"
The word "die" made Bradley's temples throb. He grabbed Felix and hastily ushered him out of the ICU
room.
"Daddy! Let me in!" Felix desperately pounded on the door.
Bradley seemed oblivious and hurried to Esther's side.
"Esther! I know you're faking it! The same trick won't work twice! I'm warning you, if I count to three and
you still don't wake up, I will have someone harm your daughters and send their hands to you!"
Bradley dialed a number on his phone. "One... Two... Three!"
Esther kept her eyes tightly shut, displaying no signs of awakening.
Felix's cries drew nurses and Kevin to the ICU.
Kevin pushed the door but found it locked. Disregarding the ICU's sanctity, he seized an oxygen tank
and forcefully smashed it against the glass.
The glass shattered with a resounding crash.
Felix huddled on the floor, clutching his head in terror.
"Bradley!" Seeing Bradley reaching for Esther's neck, Kevin paid no heed to the glass shards under his
feet. He rushed over, shoved Bradley aside, and demanded angrily, "Bradley, have you lost your
mind?"
Ignoring Kevin's protests, Bradley intended to pick up Esther and take her away, dead or alive, as long
as she was by his side.
Kevin firmly stood between Esther and Bradley, his eyes aflame. "Bradley, stop this stubbornness!"
"Move!"
Kevin stood his ground, resolute. "Behave yourself in front of Felix!" This belongs © NôvelDra/ma.Org.
"Get out of my way!" Bradley pushed Kevin aside, but the latter clung to the bed's edge. He couldn't
yield—Esther's hope rested on it.
Suddenly, a piercing alarm blared!
Bradley, Kevin, Felix, and the ICU staff stared in astonishment at Esther on the hospital bed, their faces
betraying their shock.
