Renaissance's golden era.

Faces beamed with rare joy. Even though the guests had attended numerous weddings, this one was

exceptional, teeming with excitement. The union of the Quill and Pendleton families promised to be the

wedding of the century.

Mandy slowly edged closer to the lively venue, the rhythmic drums and percussion growing more

intense. An unexplained sense of apprehension crept over her.

She remained clueless about Esther's whereabouts and when Jasper and his party would strike

against the Pendletons. However, she knew that her days under the Pendletons' control were over.

"Wait for a moment. The ceremony up ahead isn't done yet," the wedding planner whispered to the

maid of honor as she approached her. "Proceed when you hear the trumpets."

"Got it," the maid of honor replied.

Mandy and Esther wore nearly identical traditional wedding attire. Even after swapping veils, their own

maid of honor couldn't tell one from the other.

As Mandy awaited her signal, Bradley's groomsmen and bridesmaids looked bewildered. The bride and

groom's disappearance had them perplexed—they hadn't expected this.

The wedding planners, growing impatient, discreetly scanned the venue in fear the guests might notice

something amiss.

Besides Liora, no one seemed particularly concerned about Mandy's ceremony. This left them unaware

that Mandy, at the end of the red carpet, was waiting for the right moment to walk down the aisle.

Meanwhile, on a small island in Southeast Varnusia.

Bradley observed Mandy on the screen. He put down his wine glass, approached the crystal coffin, and

gently tapped the lid, the sound echoing inside.

Esther's eyes fluttered open, stirred by the noise. She glimpsed a distorted figure through the crystal,

sending shivers down her spine.

'Why am I not at my own wedding? What am I doing here?' she thought.

She sat up abruptly, accidentally hitting her head on the coffin's hard top. In panic, she pounded her

fists against the casket's walls, shouting, "Let me out!"

Today was a pivotal day for the Quills to act against the Pendletons. If Esther vanished now and raised

suspicions, their plan would crumble.

"Let me out!"

She saw only a blurry figure through the crystal. She had no clue that the man outside the coffin was

Bradley.

"Who are you? Why did you abduct me? If it's money you want…"

Esther's frantic voice reached Bradley's ears. He smirked, his eyes gleaming with malevolent delight.

"Please, I beg you. Let me out!" Esther pleaded, dressed in her bridal attire inside the crystal coffin.

Bradley cracked the coffin's lid open by just a fraction, offering Esther a glimmer of hope. Her delicate

fingers slipped through the narrow opening as she raised her head to peer out.

When her beautiful eyes met Bradley's devilishly handsome face, a wave of terror washed over her,

leaving her in despair. Tears welled up instantly, ready to spill over.
