Luna of the Cursed Alpha King (Helga and Siegren)

Chapter 15

"AND?" Helga asked, c**g an eyebrow. Ezra's eyes widened as a flicker of shock passed over his features. He had revealed this secret, hoping to startle or sway her, but it seemed to have no effect. She didn't even flinch upon hearing the royal pack's secret. "Are you serious?" His grip on her wrists tightened in frustration This was not the reaction he was expecting from her, and it angered him greatly. Was this her true nature, hidden beneath the gentle facade he had grown accustomed to? Or was she just trying to mask her fear? Either way, he felt like he was losing control of his emotions, and it only added to his growingRêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only

"I was drained by the mistreatment from everyone, Ezra. And you," she ched

Her words carried a weight that hung heavy in the air as if the you," she clenched her jaw, "I trusted you above all else. I believed in everything you said and did everything to prove myself worthy of you. You have no idea of the countless silent battles I fought just to be the perfect partner for you. But now, it f it feels like all of that was for nothing, so I'd rather be with the Alpha King. No matter what you say and do, I will push through my decision to become his mate and Luna!" can't take it anymore, Ezra." Her words wavered slightly. "If you don't have any intention of treating me with respect, then, just leave me alone and focus on your mate

"No!" His growls intensified as she spoke, her words only adding to his anger. He refused to let her leave; in his mind, Helga belonged to him and his pack, Incarnadine. He saw through her charade of trying to get his attention, but now that she had it, there was no way he would let her go. "Your feelings mean nothing to me; you're just a pathetic orphan. What gives you the right to tell me what to do and live your life as you please?" Helga's tears eventually stopped when she learned what she already knew deep down: he didn't care about her feelings. She knew that he wouldn't give a second thought to her, even if she were to get down on her knees and plead for him to leave her alone. She scolded herself for letting her emotions take over and crying in front of him. Her wolf, Stella, sensed her growing rage and anger and it only made Helga want to lash out at Ezra, but before she could say anything, he beat her to it

matter which pack takes you in, no one will truly care for and love you, Helga. The words dripped acid from his twisted lips as he taunted her with cruel amusement. Each syllable struck like a knife as he snickers, wanting to see tears streaming down Helga's face. He took pleasure in making her feel pain and wanted to push her even further, but she just clenched her fists tightly as memories flooded back to her, bringing up old painful feelings she'd kept buried deep inside herself. And even before her emotions got the best of her again, she took a deep breath and did her best to compose herself, regaining her composure before looking him straight in the eyes

"I don't care if no one will ever love me anymore," Helga declared with fierce determination, her eyes burning with the mixture of pain and rage. "Once I pass the test tomorrow, I will become the Alpha King's mate. He will marry me, mark me as his own, and we will be bonded together as Luna and Alpha. Who knows? I might even carry his pups in the future." 13:51 Wed, Oct 16 Bt Chapter 15 48%

Helga winced, her wrist throbbing in agony as she looked up at Ezra. Her eyes widened when she saw his features contort with wild rage, each muscle in his body tensing as he seemed on the verge of transforming into his wolf form. She could feel the heat radiating from his skin, making her pulse race with adrenaline. As if sensing her panic, Ezra let out a low growl of frustration, his eyes burning with pure hatred as he glared down at her.

Helga bit her lips in terror, knowing that she needed to act fast before it was too late. Without thinking, she swiftly brought her knee up, aiming for his most vulnerable area. The impact of her blow caused him to lose his grip on her, stumbling backward with a pained gasp. She wasted no time and quickly grabbed the roses before darting out of the alleyway. Her heart raced as she ran through the busy plaza, clutching the bouquet close to her chest. She could still feel the tingling pain in her wrist but pushed through it, determined to escape from Ezra's clutches once and for all "What are you doing?" A voice she knew well suddenly echoed in her mind, causing her to halt her desperate sprint and glance around. The Alpha King had just used mind link to communicate with her, and it was almost funny how his cold voice made her feel relieved. "Where are you, Your Majesty?" Helga searched the area, her eyes scanning every corner until she spots him by the fountain. She pressed her lips together and quickly made her way to him, disregarding the pulsing ache in her wrist. "What's with you?" he raised an eyebrow as he noticed her heavy breathing as if she had just run marathon. Looking around the plaza, his instincts told him that something must have happened. Meanwhile, Ezra who caught sight of the Alpha King with Helga, halted in his tracks ands wore under his breath before quickly turning around and dashing back to the hotel, not wanting to deal with him.

Helga took a deep breath and tried to steady herself. "It's nothing. Alpha King. Are you finished with your business? Can we head back to the palace now?"

She could feel her emotions and body spiraling out of control and she desperately needed to rest. If she didn't relax soon, her mind and body would be in chaos-something she couldn't afford with the test coming up tomorrow. It was crucial for her to be emotionally and physically stable in order to pass it.

Siegren's brow wrinkled in confusion as he pondered why she seemed so eager to leave. He was also curious about the flowers but didn't ask her about it; instead, he just nodded in agreement. He had no desire to stay here for much longer anyway, especially since he knew the werewolves and humans enjoying their time in the central plaza were frightened by her presence. "All right, let's go back. Tomorrow is a big day, so you need to prepare for it."
