Cheap slut
Cheap slut
It was a bright morning, and Quinn decided a jog wouldn't be a bad idea. She stretched her limbs slowly as she stood up from her bed. Wait, she had a business meeting with the CEO of the Corporation she was to sign a deal with.
In order to become powerful, partnership with big companies wasn't a bad idea. "It seems my morning jog has to be cancelled for now." She smiled. Her mind wandered to her daughter; why hasn't she come to greet her? It was so unusual for Emelda not to pester her. What was wrong with her little pumpkin?
She breezed out of the room and headed straight to her daughter's bedroom. Without Knocking, she pushed the door open.
"Emel..." Her words stuck in her throat when she saw her daughter. She was crumpled up on the bed as she lay shivering.
"Emelda!!" She screamed as she rushed straight to the bed, her heart beating faster than normal. She placed her hand on her daughter's forhead, "Shit, baby..." She shook her daughter gently.
Emelda was unconscious, and Quinn frantically went in search of her cellphone. Dialing a number, she placed it close to her ears.
"Prepare the car,my daughter is unconscious; it's an emergency!" She anxiously screamed.
In less than five minutes, Avie rushed into the room. They hurried to Emelda's room with the speed of light. Scooping her up, Quinn hurried downstairs, she was panicking....
"President, calm down, she will be fine." Avie assured. She hurriedly opened the car door and Quinn sat on the passenger's seat, placing Emelda on her lap.
"Drive." She said in a cracked voice.
"Yes President." Avie started the car and zoomed off to Visco Hospital. It was the best hospital in California with competent doctors....

Quinn stared at her daughter with complex emotions. How? How was it possible? Sickle cell Anemia? She was very healthy,so how?
'Henry...' A single thought crossed her mind.
Emelda lay on the bed with a pale expression. Her heart wrenched in pain; her daughter was suffering. If not for her sudden temperature,Quinn would have been in the dark.
The door opened at that moment, and someone came in. Without turning,Quinn knew it was Stephen. She sighed and sat on the chair beside Emelda's bed.
"What's wrong?" Stephen queried with a worried look plastered on his face.
Quinn bent her head without responding. Her action alarmed Stephen. He walked to her and patted her shoulders. At this moment, Quinn released the tears she was holding back.
"S...she.. was ...d.. diagnosed...w..with sickle cell Anemia." She choked out with heaving chest.
"What? How is that possible? This is bad." Stephen asked her rhetorically.
He pulled her up and enveloped her in a warm hug. She needed all the consolation she could get.
"It's okay,I'm here for you." Stephen patted her back gently.
Quinn cried her eyes out; she couldn't bear to see anything happen to her precious daughter. She was all she got.
Stephen hugged her as different thoughts crossed his mind. He always felt something when he was close to Quinn. She struck a cord in him that no one has ever did. He always tried not to show it in his actions.
How could he?
Quinn was an independent woman with a domineering attitude. This was the first time he ever saw her break down; her daughter was the only person capable of making her frantic.
How could he tell her? A woman with a scar? Quinn wasn't one to love; he has already seen it from their interactions. It seemed he had to be patient, then maybe he could win her heart.
In order not to traumatise her daughter,he decided to act as her father. He thought it would be an opportunity to woo Quinn.
His first attempt failed... It wasn't a direct conversation. He jokingly asked if she fancied him and would like to be his. She declined....
His crush and admiration for her was getting stronger each day,he couldn't help it. He had come to love Emelda and he hated the jerk who made Quinn pass through pain. Henry was it? 'What a fool...'
How could he let go of such an intelligent woman? Maybe it was because at that time, she was a maid; one who could be used and dumped at whim... 'Fool,' He scoffed again.
How could he have known that Quinn was the heiress of the powerful Stones family in Washington DC? Their connections were vast and no one could go against them.
It was actually one of the reasons he wanted to get close to her; get married to her. He needed to build his connections....

"President, it seems Miss Quinn was spotted at a hospital earlier today." Henry's Personal Assistant reported with a slight bow.
"What! Are you sure of it?" Henry stood up at once.
He rushed out of the office,he had to see her again...
His assistant followed behind, almost gliding in an attempt to keep up with his boss's steps.
While in the car, many thoughts flashed across his mind. How was she? Was she more voluptuous than before? God... Those slender legs..
He shook his head, trying to change his train of thoughts.
"President,we are here."
Henry stared at the hospital in front of him without stepping out.
"Aren't you getting down, President?" His assistant was confused; why wasn't he getting down?
"No,let's wait for a while." Henry replied.
Fifteen minutes later, his assistant's voice sounded again,
"She's coming out."
Henry stared at the entrance and truly, he saw Quinn and, wasn't that a man walking along with her? Who was he?
Henry continued looking in fury as both of them entered the same car and drove off. Did Quinn get married? 'What a slut' He spat in contempt.
Here he was... Always thinking about her, when in actual fact, she had already moved on. So cheap.... He sneered as he leaned back on his seat.
"Drive.."
"Where to President?" His assistant glanced at him through the mirror. This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.
"The office." Henry felt defeated; it seemed he had to just marry Kathleen and get over his pathetic obsession.
