Chapter 300 Clarissa Came From An Affluent Family On this day, Connie went to the film set for

“Manor of the Marquis”.

The day before, she had snatched Clarissa‘s ring from her grandmother and had warned her

grandmother to watch what to say around Clarissa.

“Clarissa was unwilling?”

“Yes, and she was so cold to Damien. My parents got into a fight, and they left after watching the

show.” Connie even heaved a sigh after that.

Madelynn hung up without even waiting for Connie to finish.

This was what Connie was up to. She wanted Madelynn to know that there was still a wedge between

Damien and Clarissa, and that Clarissa wasn‘t willing to be with Damien. Connnie didn‘t care who

Madelynn chose to go after, as long as the latter did something.

After hanging up, Madelynn kept thinking of ways to sow discord between Clarissa and Damien.

In the end, she booked a table for lunch at Memories. A producer had arranged for her to meet with a

few directors and investors.
