Love In Twilight By Tiny Mountains Chapter 209

Chapter 209 What Did You Call Me? Upon returning home, Clarissa saw Vanessa making dumplings in

the kitchen.

Mrs. Faber told Clarissa, “She’s been making these all this time, but Mr. Lawrence never ate them.”

Clarissa joined Vanessa, and the two made dumplings together.

The dumplings Clarissa made had a different shape from Vanessa’s.

It was easy to spot the difference.

When Damien came downstairs, he noticed Clarissa making dumplings.

“Are you finally making me dumplings?” “Yeah. Sorry for the delay,” Clarissa replied.

Damien sat on the sofa without responding.

After some time, Clarissa walked toward Damien with a bowl full of dumplings.

“Try one.” She picked up one and fed Damien. Damien took a glance at it before giving a firm refusal.

“Change to another one.” “Another,” he said again. Confused, Clarissa took the one she had made.

Damien ate it.

He seemed to be only eating the ones that Clarissa made. Vanessa, who was sitting on the side,

couldn’t bear the sight. She silently wiped her tears. “Why aren’t you eating?” Clarissa asked. She felt

bad for Vanessa. Nobody should be treating their own mother so awfully!

“Aren’t I eating?” Damien shot back. “Not the ones made by your mom,” Clarissa refuted, sounding

angry.

The dumplings left in the bowl were the ones made by Vanessa.

‘She’d be so sad if she saw this,’Clarissa thought to herself.

And so, Clarissa ate the remaining dumplings.

When she went back to the kitchen, she told Vanessa in an excited tone, “Mom, the dumplings were

delicious. Both of us finished the entire thing!” “That’s great. I’m glad that Damien married you.”

Vanessa patted Clarissa’s head. Clarissa didn’t tell her the truth, and only smiled.

“Hubby, you shouldn’t treat your mom like this.” This was the first thing Clarissa told Damien when they

went back to their room.” “What did you call me?”

Clarissa took a few seconds before repeating hesitantly, “…Hubby?” All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.

“Again.” “Hubby, hubby, hubby. Could you please treat your parents nicely? It’s only normal for them to

react that way during that incident. Maybe you should forgive them,” Clarissa coaxed. “Okay.” Damien

then started reading his book, nonchalant.

He was flattered by Clarissa calling him “hubby”. When Clarissa walked past the bed, he pulled her to

the bed by the arm and started kissing her.
