Chapter 188: Why Force It?
Considering this, Bonnie intended to talk to Yanis about it after she woke up.
Yanis slept for a long time and didn't wake up until it was in the evening.
Opening her eyes and looking at the familiar environment, Yanis thought of something and couldn't
help frowning.
She fell asleep...
And she woke up in bed, it must be Zane who took her upstairs.
After a while, Yanis lifted the quilt and got out of bed.
Bonnie was in the living room, sitting on the sofa and playing with her phone, when she saw Yanis out,
she asked, "Yanis, what do you want to have for dinner? Travis said that they have just bought a lot of
food and invited us over."
Yanis stood at the bedroom door and looked at Bonnie, "He knows?"
"I don't think so. If he knew, he would have let me take you to the Cooke Residence."
Said Bonnie as she put down her phone, turned around and looked at Yanis standing at the door of the
bedroom, "What did you say to that Scumbag? And you fell asleep?"
Yanis shook her head, "we said nothing. We just sat on the stair for a while and didn't say anything. I
didn't know how I fell asleep."
After listening to Yanis's words, Bonnie gave a thumbs up at Yanis, "You are really something."
"Let's go. Tell Mr. Cooke that I can have anything." Yanis turned around and went into the bathroom as
she spoke.
"Okay. I will text him and we are leaving then."
"Good."
After washing her face and changing her clothes, Yanis set for the Cooke Residence with Bonnie. This content belongs to Nô/velDra/ma.Org .
By the time they arrived at the Cooke Residence, it was already dark.
The Cooke Residence was brightly-lit.
"Grandpa, we are here!" Bonnie shouted as soon as she entered the house.
Travis, sitting in the living room, looked over, "What's with the yelling? You are a grown woman now."
Bonnie found a pair of slippers for Yanis to change into while muttering, "I was saying hello to you."
Go wash your hands, dinner's ready. We have been waiting for a long time!"
Bonnie and Yanis heard it and looked over at the living room at the same time.
Because the porch was not connected with the sitting room, they couldn't see it clearly who it was.
"Mr. Cooke has other guest?"
Bonnie shook her head, "He didn't say anything to me."
Yanis had changed her shoes, "Let's go in."
When they went in and saw Myles sitting next to Travis, they looked at each other.
Yanis was calm, but Bonnie wasn't.
She forced Myles up from the sofa right in front of Travis, "Follow me, I have words to say to you."
"Bonnie, what are you doing?"
"I have something to talk to with him! It won't take long!"
Bonnie then took him to the study on the first floor.
Travis resignedly looked at Yanis, "They are in a quarrel again?"
Yanis shook her head. "I have no idea."
Travis looked at Yanis, "You don't?"
Yanis answered, "I don't."
Travis sighed, "Myles is the only person who can put up with Bonnie. Any other man would have been
driven away by her hot temper."
Yanis had wanted to defend for Bonnie, but then thought Travis's words were true.
Myles was indeed the only person who could put up with Bonnie.
Fortunately, Travis didn't ask more questions. "Myles came in the afternoon and we chatted me for a
while. I asked him to stay for dinner. Then I thought I haven't seen you two in a long time, so I called
you over."
"I'm sorry, Mr. Cooke. We have been busy and haven't had time to come see you."
Travis waved his hand, "I know you are busy, I have my life going on, too. I would be annoyed if I saw
you too often here."
Yanis smiled, "Mr. Cooke, that's not true. You must be dying to see us here."
Travis chuckled, and then changed the topic, "I heard you and Zane got divorced?"
Yanis nodded, "Yes."
Travis was silent for a few seconds, "That's good. Since you are not happy together, you should get
divorced."
Yanis nodded, "It's a relief."
"It's your decision." Travis didn't say anything more and changed the topic, "I heard from Bonnie that
you participated in some competition?"
Yanis nodded, "Ivan introduced it to me. It's a jewelry design competition."
Travis seemed to think of something, "I remember you have always been talented in it. Have you
learned interior design?"
Yanis answered, "Except for fashion design, I have learned interior design, architectural design and
jewelry design."
Travis looked proud and praised her. "Since you have enough time now, you should dig deeper into
them. Don't waste your talent."
"I will."
"They aren't fighting, are they?" Travis looked over.
Yanis chuckled, "I don't think so. Even if they are, Bonnie wouldn't lose."
"That's true." Travis nodded his head, "But if Bonnie beat Myles up and drove him away, there would be
no one loving her from now on."
Myles and Bonnie were indeed fighting.
Bonnie was indeed a tough woman, but she didn't have as much strength as Myles.
Before she could punch him, Myles easily pressed her on the bed, "Bonnie, you are cruel. You almost
kicked me in the dick!"
Bonnie didn't want Travis to know they were fighting, she glared at Myles, "Get off of me!"
"Okay, but you can't do that again, or... I'll kiss you."
"How dare you!"
Myles smiled, "You think I dare not? I just don't want to make you angry."
"Get off!"
Myles then got off of her and helped her up from the bed, "I was here to talk to Grandpa Travis. I didn't
tell him anything about us in a quarrel."
Bonnie pouted and said while straightening her clothes, "You dare not! Even if he likes you, I am his
granddaughter."
Myles chuckled, "That's why I didn't snitch."
"Why are you here for? You want him to teach you to paint?"
Myles didn't answer but nodded, "That's a good advice. I will talk to him about it later. He can be my
teacher and the two of us will see each other more often."
"He won't have a student like you! He won't like you!"
"What about you?"
Bonnie was stunned and looked away, "I don't like you, either!"
Myles stroked her hair, "That hurt."
Bonnie frowned, "Myles!"
She didn't lower her voice this time and the study was not soundproof and Travis and Yanis looked
over at the same time.
They saw Myles open the door and walk out.
Bonnie was behind him, her hair in a mess.
