His Eagle Eyes on Me

Chapter 3020

Hayden was completely dumbfounded. He realized that Aiden had far too easy a life with everyone around him constantly indulging him. This caused him to be susceptible to difficulties, even something as mundane as having his snack taken by his sister.

Mrs. Taylor immediately took another rice cracker from the bag and placed it in Aiden's hands.Têxt © NôvelDrama.Org.

With teary eyes, Aiden glanced at the rice cracker in his hands and sniffled softly. He stopped crying.

"Audrey, you mustn't snatch things from your brother." Shelly squatted beside her daughter to educate her. "Look, you made your brother cry just now."

Audrey stuffed the rice cracker, packet and all, into her mouth while looking at her brother. She did not know him.

"You haven't taken it out of the plastic yet!" Shelly immediately took the rice cracker out of her daughter's mouth.

The rice cracker that Audrey had tried to consume whole was made for babies. It did not contain any flavorings. There was only the faint smell of rice. Shelly bought it online for Audrey two days ago. Adults wouldn't find the rice crackers particularly appealing, but it was a fragrant and delicious snack for babies.

Audrey became extremely excited whenever she saw a rice cracker.

"We should bring Aiden over to play with Audrey more often. He is too vulnerable and weak." Hayden furrowed his brow.

Shelly was not as concerned. "Aiden is still young, and he has never seen Audrey before. Maybe he's just a bit shy."

"You have a good attitude, but it's not good for Aiden. My parents have spoiled him too much, treating him like a delicate flower. How can he handle the real world like this?" Hayden said. Mrs. Taylor nodded in agreement, unable to hide her fondness for Hayden.

"Aiden has become so chubby and adorable under their care, so they must be really good at raising children. Still, you have to bring Aiden over to play often. I love him so much!" Mrs. Taylor sat beside Aiden and watched him as he devoured the cracker.

Aiden ate with great elegance and grace, unlike Audrey, who quickly finished the rice cracker in a few bites.

Hayden could tell that Mrs. Taylor genuinely adored Aiden, so he tried to focus on what his son was good at, which was to please the elderly.

"Look at how fair Aiden is! Hasn't he е seen the sun? I used to think Audrey was pretty, but now, sitting next to Hayden, our Audrey looks so dark." Mrs. Taylor chuckled teasingly.

"Mom, it's not as bad as you make it sound! Audrey may have slightly darker skin, but it's a healthy complexion!" Shelly looked at the two children and could not see any flaws.

"It's mainly because Aiden is so fair!

Hahaha! He is so calm and composed, too. He is interesting to watch!" Mrs. Taylor said. "It must be because Hayden's parents are such upstanding people. They've raised Aiden well."

Shelly looked at Hayden and asked, "You're here so early, so would you like some breakfast?"

Hayden shook his head. "I ate enough in the morning. I'll have some fruit."

"What fruit would you like? I'll go prepare them," said Shelly.

Hayden glanced at the coffee table.

He never liked anything that was sweet but could tolerate sour-tasting fruits.

"Shelly, just prepare a little of everything. The kids can munch on them later if they want to," Mrs. Taylor said.

"Sure." Shelly immediately hurried to the kitchen with the bag of fruits on the table.

Hayden watched as she left and asked Mrs. Taylor, "Why don't you ask the servants to do it instead?"

"The servants have been working hard. The servant responsible for looking after Audrey at night needs to sleep during the day, and the servant responsible for cooking has to prepare three meals for us every day, along with baby food for Audrey. The servant who is responsible for cleaning has a hard time as well because she needs to clean such a big house all by herself. We can still take care of ourselves when it comes to these small things," Mrs. Taylor explained.
