Chapter 250
Chapter 250
"You didn't say it but I know you think so," Liam said.
Abigail was rendered speechless.
She didn't think that way at all.
"You want to cook me a good meal because I saved your life. Good. Go ahead," Liam said.
Abigail clenched her fists!
He'd saved her life.
Did he think she owed a deep debt of gratitude to him?
Fine.
She admitted that she was beholden to him.
It was true that he'd saved her life.
Abigail relented and asked, "You want spaghetti?"
Liam raised his eyebrows languidly.
"But I didn't buy spaghetti."
"Then just cook with what you bought. I'm not picky," Liam said.
There was nothing Abigail could say.
So she started cooking.
Seeing Abigail compromise, Liam smiled.
Just then, the doorbell rang.
Abigail turned to open the door, but Liam said, "I'll get it."
Abigail watched him walking to answer the door and resumed cooking.
Liam was startled when he opened the door.
Outside the door, Leo was startled too.
He hadn't expected to see Liam here.
"Seriously?"
"Why are you here?"
The two of them asked in unison.
Liam smirked, "I'm here for the same reason you're here."
Looking at his cocky face, Leo didn't say anything.
Abigail turned her head and saw Liam standing there talking. She frowned and asked, "Who is it?"
Hearing Abigail's voice, Leo walked straight in.
"It's me."
Abigail was surprised too when she saw Leo. This was the last situation she expected.
The two men met again.
Abigail smiled stiffly.
Moreover, Leo had a bunch of flowers in his hand. Abigail asked, "What brought you here?"
"I was worried about you, so I came to have a look," Leo replied casually.
Abigail smiled and walked to him. "I'm fine."
Leo gave the flowers to Abigail. "It's for you!"
Looking at the big bouquet of flowers, Abigail took it with a smile. She sniffed and said, "I like it very
much. Thank you."
Looking at Abigail, Leo raised a big smile.
While Liam looked very bad.
He couldn't understand why Abigail looked so happy. It was just a bunch of flowers.
"I'll go find a vase for the flowers."
As she spoke, Abigail walked towards the bedroom.
Leo and Liam were left in the living room.
Abigail was tired of mediating between the two of them. She wouldn't interfere with them even if they
were going to fight. She didn't want to be bothered anymore.
She would just look the other way.
Sure enough, as soon as Abigail left, the fight began.
"You're so considerate," Liam said.
Leo gave him a smile and said, "I'm always considerate to her."
Liam was angry because of his words.
It seemed that Leo was determined to win Abigail's heart. © NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.
That thought annoyed Liam but he managed to say in an unperturbed voice, "I'm afraid it'll be harder
than you think to win her favor. My ex-wife is a little bit of a nitpicker."
