Chapter 19 Who Is The Mastermind Of The Kidnapping (Part Three)
Hearing that, Era nodded and left his arms reluctantly. Although she had figured out that the mastermind was Anna, she was disappointed when she confirmed it.
"The woman in the restaurant?"
Era nodded again and kept her head down. He was a stranger to her. She didn't want him to see her cry.
"She's courting death!" The voice was gruesome and terrifying. She dared to touch his prey. That woman really wanted to die.
"What do you want to do to her?" She suddenly raised her head and grabbed his arm.
"That woman is so ignorant that she can't distinguish clearly what she should or shouldn't do. It's a waste of air to live." Jacob said in a low and calm voice, but his words made her shudder with fear.
"What... What do you mean? " Era had a bad feeling.
With a cold glance at her, Jacob sneered and passed her. He went straight to Porsche, as if he didn't bother to say anything.
"You want to kill her?"
Era's eyes widened. Although she was hateful, she didn't deserve to die!
"Get in the car!" Jacob totally ignored her question, but his eyes were more gloomy.
"You can't do that! Life is not a game! "
"For me, sometimes human life is as humble as an ant!" Her excitement finally piqued Jacob's interest. Sitting in the driver's seat, he said a few extra words as a reward to her.
"You..."
Era's lips trembled. A chill came over her and froze her. How could she forget he was a killer! Life was really worthless to him!
"Please, don't do this."
"What are you doing? Get in the car." There was a sense of impatience in his tone.
Without hesitation, she quickly got in his luxury car. She couldn't help but shudder at the coldness in the car, but she plucked up courage to say something. "Jacob, please, don't kill her."
"Why do you beg me, huh?" This content belongs to Nô/velDra/ma.Org .
"I... She did not kill me, nor did she hurt you. Besides, please don't meddle in my affairs. I can handle it on my own." She made up her mind, and said a series of reasons. Her eyes were clear and proud.
"Wow!" He sneered and raised his eyebrows. "Very good, you have become bolder. You know what resistance is, right?"
His voice was light, but strangely cold, which made Era's skin hurt. "No, it's not like that..." She shook her head. The team leader, who was slightly rising, ceased immediately.
"Do you really want to beg me?" A satisfied smile crept across Jacob's face, as if he was pleased by her appearance.
"Yes..." After being surprised for a while, Era nodded.
"Well, anybody who asks me for help must pay the price, then..." He snorted, "what are you going to do in exchange for that woman's life?"
"What?" Era suddenly stopped. She couldn't watch Anna die like that. However, what could she do for her? After all, she didn't have the ability to help the world.
"What? Do you regret it?"
After that, there was a dead silence in the car.
A hint of irony appeared in his black eyes. How can there really be a fool who rewards morality for evil in the world.
