Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1318

In the room, Connor's deep, tender voice floated like a soothing melody, reminiscent of a cello's most enchanting notes, full of lingering passion. Everyone was visibly moved.

As the song drew to a close, Flora's eyes were misty with emotion. Connor, down on one knee before her, finished his serenade, stood up, leaned forward, and planted a gentle kiss on her forehead-so tender, it almost didn't seem real. "Thank you, Flora," he said.

He was thanking his Flora for agreeing to be his wife.

"Connor..." Flora's voice quivered with emotion. "I love you."

Even Crimson, usually the life of the party, found herself tearing up and thinking about marriage for the first time!

Trying to lighten the mood, Crimson chimed in, "Alright, alright, that's enough mushy stuff for now. Groom, it's time to find those bridal shoes so you can whisk the bride away!"

Just as she finished, Flora calmly lifted a corner of her dress. Connor's eyes widened in panic-there were other guys in the room! He quickly stepped in front of her, casting a warning glare at Ray, Rafael, and the others. They awkwardly looked away, pretending to be oblivious: "What's the big deal? She just lifted a corner; it's not like they could see anything!"

"Connor, here you go."

Tradition dictated that the groom should find the bridal shoes, but seeing how the earlier events had tugged at her heartstrings, Flora decided to spare him the effort and handed them over, ignoring Crimson's protesting eyes. Connor's lips curled into a subtle smile. Kneeling down once more, he reverently slipped the shoes onto her feet, completing this charming ritual.

As they prepared to leave, Henrik scooped Flora up and carried her out.

At the bottom of the villa steps, Raul discreetly wiped a tear from his eye. Watching his daughter marry was a bittersweet moment of joy and nostalgia.

Brodie and Sammuel watched silently as Henrik brought Flora down from the second floor, their eyes glistening with emotion.

Henrik gently placed Flora into the wedding car's back seat, leaned down, and tenderly touched her hair. "My dear sister, may you always find happiness."

"Brother," Flora beamed, lifting her hand to hug him gently with her fan.

"Alright, let's get going. See you at the hotel," Henrik said, softly patting her back before releasing her. He nodded at Connor sitting beside Flora and closed the car door. "Here they go"

Moss's voice boomed, and the air filled with the sounds of drums and cheers as a hundred fireworks painted the sky a brilliant red.

The grand procession set off with twelve lead cars, followed by Flora and Connor's main wedding car, and then twelve more. Ten military vehicles escorted them front and back all perfectly aligned on the main road, with nine helicopters Soaring above.

It was an extraordinary spectacle, almost unheard of.

Connor had truly kept his promise of a spectacular wedding.

The streets were packed with onlookers, awestruck by the magnificent display, buzzing with excitement. Thankfully, Connor had planned for this, coordinating with authorities to have soldiers stationed along the procession route.
