I looked at him calmly and explained, “Upset? You think I’m just being moody? I‘ m treating, you the way you treat me. I’m not some saint, Jared. Stop expecting me to tolerate everything you do. Since becoming Alpha, Jared rarely ate on time, so he had a stomach problem. That was why I had made it a point to prepare or send him nutritious meals three times a day. But some of those meals never reached his stomach. Instead, they ended up with Georgia.

Actually, if she didn’t make a status about it, I would be kept in the dark forever. But I would never thank her for it.

Jared was speechless. After a moment of silence, he finally said, “I did it because she’s physically weak and needs nutritious meals more than I do.”

“Really? One with a stomach problem and one physically weak, you two are quite the pair,” I retorted, shaking off his hand in anger as I headed upstairs. Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

Fighting back tears, I hurried to pack all my belongings into a suitcase. That day, I made up my mind to move out of Jared’s house for good.

At the Academy that morning, I realized that mentors were entitled to dormitory housing. So, I decided I would move there temporarily. The headmaster had already granted me permission after all.

‘Olivia, think about it again, please,, Serena tried to calm my mind, but my decision was firm. I was done with a man who never respected me.

As I came downstairs with my suitcase, Jared asked, “First, you leave with just a backpack. Now you’re packing up everything?”

smirked, ignoring his question, and said, “Oh, that reminds me. I need to get my backpack from

car.”

“I threw it away,” Jared replied calmly, showing no remorse for disposing of my things without permission.

There was a gift from Thomas that I hadn’t yet opened, how could he throw it easily?

“You indeed never appreciate anything I do or I have!” I shouted, dragging my suitcase toward the door. Suddenly Jared grabbed me and threatened, “Stop acting like a child, Olivia. If you go back to your parents house, they’ll be disappointed.

“Who said I was going there?” I challenged, staring him down.

His face indicated that he was thinking where would I go again that time. But I did not give him a clue and just continued, “Let go of me!”

When I finally made it outside, Jared tried to follow, but I turned and warned, “Don‘ t you dare follow me, or I will reject you, Alpha Jared Ortiz!”

Hearing my ultimatum, Jared’s arrogant demeanor faltered. His expression was something I couldn’t quite decipher, but it was clear he hadn‘ t expected me to defy him.
