Chapter 712 His Cold Personality
Not wanting to ruin his mood by talking about Xander, Sheldon changed the topic by saying, “I think
you should declare your relationship with Skylar, Tobias. Make sure everyone out there knows she
belongs to you. The entertainment industry is full of perverted men, so they're bound to set their sights
on a beautiful woman like her!”
“I don't want to be associated with the entertainment industry just yet. Do you know how annoying it is
to have paparazzi following you around everywhere you go?” Tobias replied coldly.
Sheldon rubbed the smooth and soft fabric of his slacks.
He couldn't help but feel bad for Skylar, who couldn't even be open about her relationship even though
there was nothing wrong with it.
Some people would prefer to have the whole world know about their amazing relationship, but that was
clearly not the case with Tobias.
Tobias had such a cold personality that he would never agree to public displays of affection, let alone
declare his relationship to the public.
Sheldon arrived at the office in the afternoon and spent the entire day hanging out with Tobias. Even
when Tobias had a meeting that evening, Sheldon stayed in his office and waited until he came back.
It was really late at night by the time Tobias returned from the conference room. Judging by the
extremely gloomy look on Tobias' face, Sheldon could tell that he was upset about what happened to
Skylar.
Sheldon let out an exhausted yawn and struggled to keep his eyes open as he stood up. A glance at
the clock revealed that it was already eleven at night.
He had never worked overtime that late during his time at Ford Group. The lights were on all over the
entire building.
“I'm hungry, Tobias. Let's go get some supper,” Sheldon said in a coaxing tone.
Why is a grown man like him acting like this? Tobias shot him a cold glare and shoved him aside in
disgust.
The two ended up going for supper at a place of Sheldon's choice. It was a tiny restaurant that was
famous for its grilled oysters.
Tobias would sometimes drop by for a quick bite when he got hungry while working overtime late at
night.
Anyone who frequented small restaurants would know that they made the best food.
The guys at the table next to theirs were talking really loudly while chugging away at their beers.
The weather was very cold, and yet, the man sitting in the middle of the group was wearing a shirt with
short sleeves. He also wore a heavy-looking gold chain around his neck.
“So what if he has businesses worth billions? I could easily outdo Tobias if I just put in another two
years of hard work!”
Sheldon nearly spat out the beer in his mouth when he heard that. It took him every ounce of willpower
he had to not laugh as he looked at Tobias.
“Heh... Some people really forget their place after having a few drinks, huh?”
Tobias was feeling dizzy and had no appetite, so he didn't say anything in response.
He had given his coat to Skylar earlier that morning because she wasn't dressed warmly, so he ended
up suffering from the cold instead.
Tobias would not even come to see him for weeks. Property © NôvelDrama.Org.
Sheldon, however, did not take kindly to that man's statement.
He smashed his glass on the floor, scattering pieces of broken glass all over the place.
The guys at the next table jumped in shock. The man who was badmouthing Ford Group earlier turned
around and shot Sheldon a fierce glare.
“What the f*ck, man? You scared the sh*t out of me! Don't drink if you can't even hold your glass well!”
