Chapter 682 My First Time Giving Someone A Bath
Did Tobias use it with another woman while I wasn't home? That was Skylar's first guess.
However, she quickly scrapped that thought. She reckoned that Tobias wouldn't do something so
stupid. He has so many other residences, after all; why would he sleep with another woman here, of all
places?
The way I see it now, Madelyn must have been the one who took the condoms before meeting her
husband.
Skylar got up and began to clear the table using one arm when she saw some food left on Tobias'
plate.
She chided, “You're wasting food, you know. For a grown man, you sure don't eat a lot.”
Tobias took all the dirty dishes and placed them in the sink, not letting Skylar do the work.
She stared at his tall, large figure. She couldn't help but be captivated by his broad shoulders, well-
proportioned body, and tanned skin, along with the way his black shirt was tucked into his trousers. He
looked so mature and charming.
As someone who never received love from her father, Skylar found herself attracted to older men, and
Tobias' age was just right.
He was smart, experienced, mature, and level-headed. He wasn't too old either.
“Why are you staring at me?”
Skylar froze. “How would you know if I'm staring at you? It's not like you have eyes on your back.”
Tobias turned around and lit a cigarette. Then, he took a puff and blew out a cloud of smoke.
“Men have instincts too. So, what's with the staring? Do you have something to tell me?”
Noticing his gaze on her arm, Skylar hastily walked away. Tobias was clearly waiting for her to come
clean, but the two seemed to be at a standoff, each waiting on the other to speak.
Feeling slightly cold, Skylar turned the temperature up and slumped into the couch before covering
herself with a blanket.
Tobias stepped out of the kitchen after washing the dishes and walked toward the couch. In response,
Skylar scooted over to one side to make room for him.
“Madelyn's gone to spend the night with her husband. It must be pretty tough for her, having to leave
home for work. Her husband works at a construction site nearby, and they only get to meet once every
two weeks.”
Tobias didn't seem surprised. “That's normal. Not all couples stick together just because they're
married. There are many who live apart because of work.”
Skylar didn't want to part with Tobias, but she would soon be heading abroad with her production team,
albeit for just ten to fourteen days.
She leaned her head against his shoulder.
Having come home to see her injured, Tobias hadn't had the chance to ask her about her new
hairstyle.
He didn't like it one bit, for he enjoyed running his fingers through her long locks. Now, there was barely
anything for his fingers to run through.
“Why did you cut your hair? It looks ugly. You look like a guy now.”
It was always unnerving for someone who had just changed their hairstyle to receive such brutal
remarks. Skylar immediately whipped out her phone and gazed at herself using the front camera.
I do look a lot less feminine now, but not to the point where I look like a guy!
“The stylist said I needed to change my image. Do I not look good?” she insisted. This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.
Tobias couldn't bring himself to appreciate her new look. Even so, she did look purer, especially without
any makeup on. She'd be popular if she looked like this at school.
He slowly reached beneath her shirt. “I still prefer you with long hair. If it weren't for these two soft
mounds of flesh here, you could easily pass off as a guy.”
Skylar furrowed her brows. Tobias was a pretty decent man, but he had a sharp tongue.
Tobias suddenly carried her into the bathroom. With Madelyn away, he didn't have to hold back.
Skylar felt touched thinking he was going to bathe her because of her injury. “I can do it myself. I'm not
taking a bath today.”
Yet, Tobias placed her on the countertop and began to undo her clothes. “It's filthy to not take a bath.
This is actually my first time giving someone a bath.”
