Fatal Kiss Of The Vampire

Chapter 217: I Wanted To Be Your Husband

When Kylie returned to work the next day, people treated her differently that they had before. She was an award-winning actress with shares in the company. If they slighted her in any way, they knew that she had the power to put them out on her ass. Aside from the stock shares, they knew she would not be nice to those who bullied her before.

When she arrived at work, she was directed to her new parking space near the door. When she walked in the door, someone was waiting for her with a hot coffee cup. She received compliments about the way she looked. And she felt happy hearing those praises; however, she remains humble and shows kindness to anybody.

As she passed Lucas’s office, she peeked into his office and asked him if Faith was in yet.

“I’ve called her already,” he replied, “She’s in your office.”

Kylie smiled and said, “Great. Oh, Fannie’s working on a deal with a make-up company. Can you give her a hand? This is all new to her, so be patient with her. I hope you will get along with her, and she’s a nice girl,”

Lucas nodded and walked with Kylie. “If there is anything else you need,” he said,” don’t hesitate to call. My phone is always on.”

Lucas opened the door to Kylie’s office and was shocked by what he saw inside. A woman was standing inside with her back facing them. She was wearing a one-piece dress and was incredibly sexy. The curve of her body was in the right place. Lucas thought that she was an actress in the company, so he asked her, “When did you join our company? Do you have any shooting experience? I can be your manager if you want,”

The woman turned around, and when he saw who it was, his jaw nearly hit the floor. It was none other than the fat Faith they knew before, and now she wasn’t fat anymore. She was a different person to anybody who used to know her before this big transformation.

Once Lucas found his tongue, he said, “Faith, you look gorgeous. You should be so proud of yourself, but how did you do it? You used to be sooooo FAT!”

Kylie could see that this wasn’t going to end well, so she changed the conversation topic. “Faith,” she said as she handed her a brown envelope, “these are the actors allotted to us. You and Lucas will be in charge of them. I’ve also hired an excellent talent scout. You’ll meet her soon.”

Lucas was listening to Kylie, but he couldn’t keep his eyes off from Faith. He thought that, with her new look, she could be a model or an actress.

Faith looked over the actors’ profiles in a serious way. She nodded, and then she said, “These are some fresh faces. Although none of them have done anything big, I see some potential. Faith handed the envelope to Lucas, and just as he was about to open it, Ken White walked through the door with a bundle of roses in his hand. Ken handed a rose to Faith and said, “Hey, beauty, do you want to grab a cup of coffee with me?”

Faith smiled nervously at Ken. She didn’t have any experience in these kinds of situations, so she didn’t know what to do.

Kylie quickly stepped between Ken and Faith. She looked at Ken, and in a stern tone of voice, she said, “Mind your behavior. You’re at my office,”

She turned to Lucas and said, “Get Faith out of here. If Ken has something to say, I can handle him.”

As Lucas walked Faith out of the room, Ken smiled and said, “That girl is a hundred times sexier than Khloe. She even looks fresh that your sick half-sister. If this is the new face of your company, I approve!”Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

Kylie frowned and said, “Do you really not recognize that girl?”

Ken rubbed his jaw and turned to Kylie. “Should I know her? She pretty enough and I think I began to like her,”

Kylie sneered. “Don’t you know Faith?”

“That wasn’t Faith,” Ken laughed. “Faith is a fat cow! Don’t make a joke this isn’t funny,”

Kylie shrugged her shoulder, “Never mind the girl,” and then said. “I don’t care if you believe me or not. Just tell me what you want!”

Ken grinned and said, “Let’s go for a date. You once promised me a date! You should fulfill what you’ve promised,”

Before Kylie could say anything, Ken pulled a videotape from his jacket. He handed it to her and said, “This aired yesterday. You should see it.”

Kylie stared at the videotape, but she didn’t take it right away. Instead, she sneered at him and said, “Isn’t Khloe Finch your cousin?”

“She is my cousin,” he laughed, “and you could be my wife!”

Kylie’s face turned red as her anger boiled. “That is impossible,” Kylie shouted. “If that is all you came to say, you can leave now! I don’t need a psychopath in my life,”

Ken knew that he wouldn’t get what he wanted right away. He placed the roses and the videotape on the table, and then he began to loosen his tie. He pulled it over his head and began to unbutton his shirt.

“What the fuck are you were doing,” Kylie cried.

“I am changing,” he replied. “What does it look like? I don’t understand why rich people have to stick themselves into uncomfortable suits? I would rather wear my hoodie and jeans! It looks good on me, isn’t it?”

She glared at him and said, “Okay, fine, suit yourself. Make a quick change if that’s what you feel is right for you. I’ll be back in thirty minutes to see you out!”

“Half an hour is a long time,” Ken replied. “Couldn’t we use some of that time to fuck? Honey, I wanted to be your husband, and I will pursue you, bear that in mind.”

“No way. I am still in a good state of mind!” Kylie shouted as she walked out of her office.
