Chapter 104
He stepped aside to let her in the office. He closed the door and sat back behind his desk. Raine sat down on his lap.
“Sit. What’s your name?” He asked.
“Pamela.” She replied as she sat down.
“Pamela?” Raine asked.
“Just Pamela.” She replied.
Raine looked like she was thinking pretty hard. But doesn’t say anything.
“Ok you’ve got my attention. Talk.” Jax demanded.
“Before I tell you I need to know that it won’t go any further than this room.” Pamela explained.
“Sweetheart I can’t promise shit till I know what you have to say.” Jax replied.
“Ok.” She sighed. “I guess I’ll have to take my chances that you’ll understand. I want a waitress job here for some research work I’m doing. And before you get all defensive it’s not what you think.”
“I’m listening.” Jax replied.
“I’m not with the cops or government. I just recently graduated with my English lit degree to further my career of being an author. Or trying to. I’ve published several stories but got writer’s block. Then I decided to turn in a different direction.” She replied.
“I do tons of research before every book. I hope to do a series of MC romance stories. But I need to be in a real MC world to experience real life so my stories could be realistic. But of course, no names or real MC situations will be mentioned.” Pamela explained.
“No.” Jax responded.
“Omg!” Raine stood up. “Omg I thought your face looked familiar! Jax it’s her! The books we you know! I’ve read all your books! Back when I broke my ankle, they came in very handy to help pass the time. Remember Jax? The sexy paranormal ones? The ones we ah borrowed scenes from!”
“Yeah, I remember the sex parts.” Jax replied.
“You perv, you would remember that part.” Raine remarked. “Jax, we have a famous author here! In our bar! Omg! So are your MC ones gonna be as erotic?”
Jax cut her off. “I said no. I can’t have her writing about my MC. The brothers would have a fit. Not to mention if word got out, we’d be a laughing joke!”
“I never reveal my sources. I completely protect their identities. Only me and you and whoever you tell would ever know.” Pamela explained.
“No.” Jax replied.
“Yes!” Raine retorted.
“I’ll even give you final say before publishing anything. You can read the entire story and even make corrections on things you don’t like or I get wrong. I can promise you your MC nor any member will be mentioned by name.” Pamela assured them. “No one would know unless you told them.”
“Jax please! This is awesome and could be good for the club.” Raine pleaded.
“How can it be good for the club?” He demanded.
“It would be good to have a positive view of MC life out there. There are so many negative and wrong views out there. It would be a chance to set some of that straight.” Raine explained.
“Of course. And as I said no one but you would even know where I got my information from. I even use an alias when I write so very few even know who I am. Only avid readers who’ve seen the one and only picture posted of me even know who I am. And it’s never mentioned where I’m at. To the average person on the street, I’m nobody to them.” Pamela explained.
“Honey if you’re nobody I want to be you!” Raine laughed.
“I’d have to put it to a vote with the officers. No way I’d keep it from them. We don’t keep secrets.” Jax replied.
“Then to be fair I get to tell my sisters so they can have a say.” Raine replied.
“Keep in mind the more who know, the riskier it comes of this getting out.” Pamela cautioned.
“Plus, I really need everyone to act normal around me. I need a true experience that’s not distorted by people trying to act like someone they aren’t.” She explained.
“I can promise those we tell can be trusted. And sweetheart you won’t even be on their radar. We don’t care about stuff like that.” Jax explained.
“Well, I’ll just have to trust your judgement.” Pamela responded.
“She would need a good cover story. One they’d believe and treat her like one of us. Otherwise, she’d be treated like a stranger.” Raine explained.
“I thought about that. I was thinking maybe I could be a cousin who came here to earn money to go to college for English degree to get a career in publishing or editing manuscripts. If people think I’m the one proofreading the books they won’t suspect me as an author.” Pamela explained.
“Wow you are smart. Oh, and you came here to get away from an ex-asshole who wouldn’t leave you alone. Nothing gets these guys like being alpha and protecting those who need it.” Raine replied.
“That would give me a good excuse to be here. Great thinking.” Pamela responded.
“Ok I’ve heard enough. I’ll call church in the morning.” Jax replied.
“Well, I appreciate you considering it. I know how some are about their privacy, but I promise I take this very seriously.” Pamela assured him.
She wrote her number down on a piece of paper Jax handed her. The she left the office. Raine started to follow her. Jax grabbed her hand.
“And just where do you think you’re going?” He asked.
“To talk to my sisters so they have time to talk to their old men.” Raine replied.
“Are you really going to leave me with a hard on and all worked up?” Jax demanded.
“I’ve got to tell them so they can talk to their men before the meeting.” Raine explained.Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.
“How about you, Kim, and Sam join us for church in the morning? Then y’all can state your case.” Jax explained.
“Really?” Raine asked.
“Yeah. Anything that will keep you here in my office so I can fuck you over my desk! We were interrupted if you remember?” He stated more than asked.
Raine unbuttoned his jeans and slowly slid his zipper down. Her hand slid in side his briefs and grasped his shaft. Jax groaned. After a few strokes she removed her hand and shoved her pants and panties down to her feet, turned around and bent over the desk.
“Is this what you had in mind?” She smirked.
Jax pressed against her backside before thrusting inside her. One hand grabbed her hip while his other grabbed her shoulder. Raine grabbed ahold of the desk. Their climaxes came quickly, leaving them both breathing heavily.
“Damn baby, even after all these years you can make me come like a teenager.” He remarked.
“Don’t worry baby. I won’t tell the guys how quick you came. Your secret is safe with me.” Raine mused.
Jax’s hand smacked her ass. “What the hell Jax!”
“That was for the sass and jumpstart round two.” He grinned.
Pamela went back to the bar. “Can I get a coke?”
There was a different younger guy there. “Just a Coke?”
“Well with ice of course.” She replied.
“Coming right up.” She noticed he had a prospect patch on.
