After leaving Angie’s house Paxton somehow felt bad for telling her he just wanted to get laid and what could he have done?

Call him an asshole and he was going to accept it but he didn’t see how telling her he would date her was the best lie he could say to her at the moment.

Telling her the truth was the best decision he had done for himself at the moment if anything, Paxton was one to speak the truth and not make a woman sad because of his selfish gains.

He left that role to his brother Jaxton who was the lady’s man.

Sydney was at the office when suddenly she had what she. would consider an August visitor.

“Hey Syd” Lydia greeted and although Sydney was surprised she. wouldn’t help but be thankful the universe wanted her to make amends towards Lydia for how she behaved last time.

“What a surprise?” she said getting up from her sit to embrace Lydia whose arms were wide open to accept the embrace.

“What’s the difference between you and my cousin Paxton? You hot work a lot so I thought to come to surprise you all”Lydia chimed happily.

” Touché” was all Sydney said as they both sat down and began to hit chat.

When suddenly Jaxton came into the office he didn’t look happy.

“What could be wrong with you to barge in like that?” Sydney asked.

Jaxton didn’t answer even his cousin’s greetings.

But then he walked out for a minute.

“What could be his problem?”Sydney asked but Lydia shrugged not knowing why her cousin suddenly had a mood swing instead of being happy she came to visit.

Before she could utter another word, Jaxton came back into the office and pulled her by the arm.

Sydney was in a rush to understand what was going on and told Lydia to hold on she was coming.

He didn’t stop no matter how many times she tried yanking her arms out of his.

When he finally did let her go was when they were in the corridor leading to the basement, which nobody would frequent except the janitor of secret lovers at the office.

Jaxton knew Sydney must have known Lydia from Paxton but what would have let the trio meet up without him was what made him so mad at the moment.

His height of insecurities and jealousy got the better of him and he just did not want to know what it was that had led to them meeting when he was not with them.

” What is going on Jaxton?” she asked worried at his sudden behaviour.

“Nothing” he replied wiping the single bid of sweat on his forehead.

“How can you say nothing is wrong when. from your face all I can see is everything being wrong?” Sydney pressed him into saying what was going on.

“She tried to return to the office and he stopped her by holding her arm but she yanked it off before standing and folding her arm to get whatever it was he had to tell her.

Jaxton looked deep into her eyes and told her what she was not expecting him to say.

” Stay the hell away from Paxton have I made myself clear?” he said with a death glare in his eyes.

“You have got to be kidding me, I freaking work with your brother’s hand in hand and you tell me to stay the hell away from him? Where is all this madness coming from?” she asked him daring him, even more, to know what she had to stay away from his brother when they worked together.

At this moment she was glad she had not told him Paxton had escorted her home on numerous occasions but what she couldn’t get was the fact that he had the guts to tell her to stay away like she was some kid.

“Look here Paxton I am not a one-year-old or some six-year-old who has to be thought some stranger dangerous things to stay away from people, I am an adult for crying out loud nigga” she cursed.

She was getting fed up with all of the back-and-forth jealousy he was portraying

One minute he was calm and nice and the next minute he was being an arse with no control.

As she stood there with him what er he was saying was simply lost in the wind because she had been lost in thoughts thinking of how it would have been better if she dated someone else or possibly Paxton.

He was the calmer one and he seemed to understand her better than Jactom who was focused on possessing her as though she was his property of his.

When he noticed she wasn’t listening to him anymore he yanked her out of her thoughts with a kiss to which she pushed him off her.

She was ready to kiss and make up for his foolishness.

He had done enough and was seemingly biting more than he could chew.

“What now you think we are just going to kiss and make up after this madness you just pulled?” she asked him.

But Jaxton was madder at the fact that he had been talking to her and she seemed to have been focused on something else other than what he was saying to her and that just broke him even more.
