Caught Between The twin CEO

The luncheon date was set to be the 5th of July.

The set-up was to be done.

The decor company was called and the arrangements.

Food was prepared and all the investors and guests were invited for the date suited perfectly with a weekend which meant that it would be perfect.

Sydney had gone home to take a bath from the venue she just wanted to be fresh.

There was a knock on the door which signified she had a visitor.

“Hello, ma’am, Mr White sent me to come to help you with your make-up, my name is Jenny McCarthy from the glam story house of beauty” the lady introduced herself.

“Oh, that’s nice come in,” she said as she shifted to the side so that she would let the person into the house but as she was about to close the door she heard the doorbell again.

“Yes?” she asked as he opens the door.

“Are you Ms Sydney?”

“This is she and who is asking?” Syndey replied.

“Mr White sent this dress for you for the luncheon,” she said.

“Oh thank you”

“Can you please sign here?” the delivery guy asked.

Sydney signed and then took the dress inside. She had expected to wear one of her old gowns and grace the occasion.

The make-up lady did the best she could do and when Sydney looked at herself in the mirror she was flabbergasted at how beautiful she looked.

The gown was silver and the blinks on it were enough to make any girl want to shine bright like a diamond, she was excited and she had not received a call from Jaxton asking if she had received the things he sent.

She wanted to make sure she thanked him properly at the event.

When she wore the dress and shoes accompanying it she couldn’t help but think Jaxton spent a fortune on her to look this great just for a luncheon.

Walking into the venue, the paparazzi were everywhere and the venue was so jam-packed.

Sydney was nervous she was shaky as she entered the venue looking around for Jaxton to thank him for her look but he was nowhere in sight.

Sydney was just thinking of how things were going to be if her product was a full blast if it was successful.

She turned around and realised she was now standing by Paxton.

“Hey Paxton, how are you?” she asked shaking.

“Sydney you look great and I bet I chose the perfect outfit for you, it fits you so much” Paxton commented and that was when she began to put two and two together.

“What, did you choose this outfit for me?” Sydney asked.

“Yes I did”

“Okay so Jaxton asked you to pick it out for me didn’t he, I knew he would,” Sydney said.

“No I decided to get you these things for the fact that you are a hardworking woman and also because you are a dutiful woman and employee and you deserve the best,” Paxton said.

Suddenly she felt tense, and she even started to think she should have called to confirm before putting on the dress.

Feeling nervous she shifted from Paxton when Jaxton came into the hall in a red tuxedo.

“Hey baby girl you look super beautiful, I am sorry I didn’t get you a dress or shoes I was so occupied that’s why, and it kind of skipped my mind but ill make sure to make it up to you” Jaxton apologised.

Jaxton tried flirting with Sydney to get her mind off the entire issue.

“What do you want to do after this?” Jacxton asked.

After a little applause and an introduction to the product and whatnot she was excited she had pitched her idea and also the other investors were excited to invest in it.

All in all, everything took off to the start of something new for the White Company.

The product was there on display for everyone she went on to explain its features.

It was a massage chair, it had some electronic features which had never been seen on any other massage chair.

The brothers explained the features too as they had helped in forming and bringing this concept to vitality.

There and then an investor ordered a thousand pieces for his company and payment was done on the spot everything was falling into place.

The orders kept coming in and by the end of the day, they realised just the luncheon date was more than what they had even used in bringing the product to light.

“Sydney you have done well and I promise you would be handsomely rewarded for all of these in the future” Paxton thanked Sydney.

“Oh sir we all were involved in this, we all worked our asses off so we all need applause,” Sydney said with a smile on her face.

The CEOs of the company were so tremendous as they got a lot of other things aside from the investors and colleagues.

The luncheon was over and everyone had a great time Sydney could not help her excitement as she was discussing with Paxton.

In her excitement, she resulted to hugging Paxtom and jumping up when Jaxton came into the room where they were having the conversation.

“No you didn’t interrupt anything brother, she was just excited and she went on to hug me hope there is no problem,” Paxton asked as he let go of Sydney’s hands.

Jaxtok knew what he saw in his brother’s eyes, but somehow he had resolved to no violence and fighting for the time being.

He felt he was becoming too domineering and making her uncomfortable with the way he was behaving hence the reason why he was no longer getting mad.

But he was jealous she was that comfortable with his brother than she was with him.
