Still shocked as to why Paxton had placed his head on her shoulder with her being on his lap she shifted a bit.

“Are you uncomfortable?” Patton asked but she shook her head no.

“I am sleepy Sydney, and could you just stay a while with me?” Pactom asked Sydney how he had raised his head off her shoulder.

It was somehow uncomfortable and her gut feeling was she didn’t want Jactom walking in here but somehow she would not let herself tell him to get off her body and to stop holding her the way he was.

“That’s okay you can sleep,” she said.

His breathing was felt as his chest heaved and let out continuously she only hoped he would rest well he sure had world his ass off.

After about Thirty minutes he was up.

“That was a quick nap,” Sydney said with a nervous giggle.

“Yeah, I just needed that, I little rest to get the dark circles off my eyes since I can’t be like a woman to cover up with foundation or so,” he said with a smile that reached his eyes since he had not been himself since the case started at the company.

“How are you feeling now?” Sydney asked he had drooled a little but she had another blouse in the office that she could change into.

“I feel refreshed and relief thank you so much Sydney,” he said with a smile.

“You are welcome” she replied.

“Do you feel any pain in your body because I sleep on your shoulder oh my god! I drooled on you” he said with embarrassment but she was okay with it.

“It’s okay, there is no problem, you don’t have to go bothered and nope I don’t feel any aims on my body” she responded happily she had finally gotten off his legs before Jaxton walked in or another employee.

“I am sorry for keeping you here when you should have been out with the other colleagues of probably Jaxton”.

” Nah, it’s okay and I like that you slept there was just too much you had to handle and I am glad you did handle it and now can rest maybe this weekend you can hang out with the boys” Sydney suggested.

“I don’t have so many friends Sydney, the reason why I am always buried in my work” Paxtin explained and that went a long way to go, as to explain why she hardly saw him out of the working desk or having plans.

For the two of them, Paxton was more of an introvert whilst Jaxton was the extroverted twin.

“Oh, sorry I suggested that I didn’t know, being alone sometimes is good,” she said scratching the back of her head,” she said with nervous laughter.

“I guess I could be bold enough to ask you for a half day for today?” she asked.

“Yes, I would be happy if you go and read you’ve done more than enough for the company over the past days and towards me too so you can go on to rest” Paxton gave her permission.

“Thank you,” Sydney said and left the office for hers as she went and packed her things to go home.

Once she got home she stripped off everything and went into the bathroom for a soothing bath.

She needed it, she needed her aching muscles to feel better, she had been super stressed that she forgot to close the door.

“What are you doing taking shower without me?” Jackson asked making her startled and almost jumping out of the tub.

“Gosh Jaxton, you scared me don’t do that,” she said holding her chest but Jaxton took off all his clothes and jumped into the tub.

“You like this right?” Jaxtok asked slowly and she nodded in acceptance.

Jaxtom started to kiss her but she was not in the mood for that so she stopped him.

“Jax, I don’t want that, please stop I just want to rest,” Sydney said.

“Did you have sex with someone else?” he asked.

“Okay, that’s it, I want you to leave Jaxton, your insults are becoming too frequent come on stop doing that,” Sudney said frustrated.

He got out of the tub pulled his clothes on without drying up and there he was out the door.

She decided that she had to forget about Jaxton for the moment and focus on herself.

She had a glass of wine and then she went to bed not ready to think of what Jaxton had said to her.

He knew the buttons to pull and what and how to piss her off.

She slept soundly only to be awakened by a phone call she didn’t know who it was as she didn’t look at the caller ID.

“Hello?” she asked into the phone.

“Yes how did you sleep?” the caller asked.

“I slept well until you got me up now” she whined.

The caller began to laugh and that was when she realised it was Jaxton.

“Oh Jaxton, I am sorry I didn’t look at the caller ID, I was knocked out of my senses I needed the rest,” Sydney said.

“Okay, hope we are cool and you are not mad at me?” Jaxton asked referring to what had happened last night.

“Nope there is no problem, I am sorry for sending you out but I just didn’t want to quarrel with you” She explained finally sitting up on the bed.

“After all what are your plans after work?” he asked.

“Well the usual, I’ll close from work and I would be home and that is all” Sydney explained.

“So, is there a possibility that I fit into this program of yours today?” Jaxtom asked cautiously as he didn’t want to be good forward as he had been the night before.

“I’ll see to that” and the phone call dropped.
