“On second thought I won’t ask him anything” she said to herself as she saw him coming close to her.

She turned and saw him coming so she kept it in place and she just had to pretend as though she didn’t see the pictures but deep within she just wanted to ask but if she asked he would know that she had checked his phone.

They had just brought another plate of food for them when she saw those pictures.

It was a plate of her favorite shrimps so she couldn’t possibly forgo that.

She began eating the food as she peeled the shrimps for herself, she just didn’t want to have Paxton do that for her.

Just seeing the pictures in his phone had made her have numerous thoughts she just wanted to know what was going on and why he would be so engrossed in her that he would be smiling so goofily.

She took a bite but wasn’t verbal about its taste as she had done with the first dish they had.

“Don’t you like it?” Paxton asked.

“I do” she replied not looking at him still.

“Do you want something else, or should we go?” he asked her seeing that she had somehow not touched the other food that was in front of her.

“I just remembered I have work at the office”.

“Sydney, we all have work at the office, being out to unwind doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have some fun”.

“Can we have this packaged for me? I have it as a takeaway” she said not minding what he had just said.

“I guess we can ask the waiter” Paxton responded still worried at her countenance, it wasn’t okay, he knew that things where definitely not okay but he couldn’t force her to talk when she didn’t want to.

“Would you want to have the day off?” he asked just finding the loopholes where she could tell him what it was he wanted, he was not comfortable with having her be edgy.

“No, please let’s go to the office I have some work to do” she said not looking at him in the face.

“Did anything happen, while I was gone did my phone ring, or did you hear any news from home?” he asked giving that her countenance didn’t show the excited Sydney she was when they had gotten home.

“Nothing happened I promised” she said just arranging her things for her to go back home.

“Then why do you look that way Sydney? Are you sure something didn’t happen when I went into the bathroom? Did some douche bag disturb you?” he pressed on to know what it was that was going on.

When he said this he was holding her hands and she stood still for a while as he looked t her eyes.

Paxton could see some fear but then he didn’t know what it was.

“Nothing happened lets go to the office or better still I can take a cab to where I want to go” she said in an edgy tone.

“Come on, then why are you not eating? And why do you want to go back to the office so fast did they call from the office or did Jaxton call you?” Paxton asked as he got up to follow her as she was headed outside of the restaurant he just wasn’t sure as to why she wants to go so quick.

Finally he gave up on trying to hold her back, he paid the food bills and too the food which had been packaged in Tupper wear and he gave a handsome tip for the waiter for his beautiful service.

As she was trying her best to walk pass him she heard Jaxton’s voice.

“Jaxton?” she called out surprised because she couldn’t believe he would be that petty enough to follow her out here.

Paxton who was rushing behind her, saw his brother and what he saw on his brother’s face was not the look of friendship.

Paxton knew he had messed up his brother had hinted for him to not get pretty close to Sydney, although he had not verbally uttered it but now it was super obvious he didn’t like the way he and his woman where getting close.

“What are you doing here Jaxton?” Sydney asked.

“Well I came to have lunch since my brother here decided he wouldn’t find a woman of his and prefers to have my woman as his” Jaxton said pissed as he moved close to Paxton and Sydney.

“I thought you would come and find me at the office so we can go for lunch bu then I go to your office and your secretary says you went out with my brother?” Jaxton asked fuming.

“Don’t create a scene here Jaxton” Sydney said calmly and Jaxton turned to look at her.

“Are you serious right now? I shouldn’t make a scene?” he asked.

“Paxton asked for a friendly lunch and I obliged so what do you mean when you say we didn’t ask you to come for lunch? You were at a meeting remember?” Sydney asked him.

“Jax, it’s not what you are thinking please, I had come late to work today and I failed to work on the project with her so I wanted to make up for it” Paxton tried to explain but it seemed he was making matters worse.

“Make it up to her as who to her? Do you both think I am a child or something?” Jaxton asked and Sydney automatically knew where he was going to with his thoughts.

“I honestly can’t believe you Jaxton, Paxton can you drive me back to the office or you wish o stand her while I take a cab back to the office?” she asked with a stern face and this only made Paxton be on a hot seat at the moment as he looked from his brother to his brother’s girlfriend.
