Chapter 7
“Look at her sketchbook, she’s hiding it down there.” Dylan also wants to show Donald my sketch book. He really wants me to beat him up. Oh, I’m going crazy. Why did he do this? How could I have such a friend?
“Dylan!”
“What? He’s not?” Dylan muttered to me at the other door, roughly asking me if he was the man I was talking about. I shook my head in the doorway and whispered noCopyright by Nôv/elDrama.Org.
“Is everything all right?” Donald looked at Dylan in disbelief, thinking that Dylan was crazy
“Yes, thank you.” Dylan was probably a little embarrassed that his behavior was discovered, gave me a thumbs up and left
“I found it.” I found the medical kit in my room and took out a bottle of hydrogen peroxide from it and showed it to him
“You are also an artist.” Donald finally got the sketch book Dylan told him, looked at the works inside, and praised me with my sketch.
“I like to try many different things. Life is short and I can’t always live the same life, can I?” I took my sketchbook and put it on the table
“Yes, this is a good philosophy of life.”
“My dad used to say that, come on,” I held up hydrogen peroxide to ask him to come with me and treat his wounds.
“In the past?” He sat in his chair and asked me why I said it was the past.
“Yes, my parents died when I was very young,” I told him calmly while adjusting hydrogen peroxide
“I’m sorry.”
“It was nothing, that was a long time ago.” I said.
“Ready?” I prepared the mixed hydrogen peroxide to smear on his wound, and my parents’ death has already passed, so now I don’t think it’s anything.
“Yes, I feel a little embarrassed. I am a doctor, and I should be one.” Doctors are sometimes embarrassed. He often deals with other people’s illnesses or something. Now I am a girl who is not a doctor or a nurse to deal with his wound, but I am embarrassed. It may hurt him later, and I am not mistaken since he shouted and it scared me.
Linda’s POV
“Oh, my God, I’m sorry.” I gasped. I didn’t push too hard. Why did I hurt him?
“I was just kidding. I’ve always wanted to scare people like this.” He said with a smile. I breathed a sigh of relief. It really scared me. Hey, this man is really, really something. If he scares me again, I wonder if I really want to send him to the hospital or not.
“Yeah, because it’s still three inches away.” I looked at the cut on his leg and the position of my hydrogen peroxide droplets. I was cheated, and I thought there would be no mistake in dealing with such a little wound.
“I’m sorry.” Ding Ding… The phone rang in his trouser pocket, and he took it out to see who was calling.
“Do you need a phone?” I thought he would answer the phone, so I thought of avoiding it.
“No, thank you. It’s my mom. It’s only her second page today. She’s just started.” He said in distress, but he didn’t answer the phone. Then he put it away. It seems that it won’t be long before the next call will come in again.
“Okay, if you say so.” I quickly treated the wound for him and cleaned up the used residue, which is still very simple to treat. I am confident that I can get it right. After all, I managed to survive for this long.
“Thank you, so, do you think we can meet again sometime, but don’t be bitten by a dog?” He asked to meet me again. I was a little surprised. Is it a date? I secretly enjoyed myself.
“Sure thing.” I gladly agreed
Ding Ding… His phone rang over and over again and I noticed that it urged him. He is already an adult, how his mother still calls him so many times, I wonder. But also on the same day, he very helplessly shook his head, again took out his cell phone.

It’s a new day today and I am going through my checklist to move into a new house.
Number one, Check. Hand in your notice. If you’re renting, you need to remember to hand in your notice of intent to leave to your landlord or estate agent. Check how long this period is, sometimes it’s one month, sometimes it might be two. If you have been living in your current home for less than a year, you may be in a contract with a break clause. Make sure of your preferred moving date before you give notice.
Number two, declutter and Book a Removals Company. Use this as an opportunity to declutter your possessions. When you book your removal company, you will need to give an estimate of how many items you’ll be moving. If you’re not sure where to begin with choosing a removal company you may want to check out British Association of Removers. Donate things you don’t need, you can also begin packing those non-essential items, or putting some larger possessions into storage temporarily if necessary. Make sure you have enough boxes and packaging supplies. I don’t have many books so I don’t need this. I also have only little things so it’s fine. I am going to skip this.
Number three, think About the Kids and Pets. If you’re moving small or furry family members, you may need to confirm new school placements, or at least inform the old school of the address change. As for your pets, if you need to book kennels or a cattery for your moving dates, do this well in advance. Think about how they will be moved and arrange for the care of pets and children on your moving day. I laugh at this. We don’t have a child yet so I crossed it out.
Number four, update Your Details. There are many places where you will need to update your details. Think about who to notify. If you’re moving to a new area, you will need to register with a new doctor and dentist. If not, include your current care providers in the list of places you need to change your address. This one is done. Next.
Number five, check your car and route. If you are going to be driving some distance on moving day, have your car serviced and car tyres checked. Confirm your route and make sure there are places to stop off if needed, for fuel and breaks. Done.
Number six, pack up and shut down. You will want to start packing more seriously about two weeks in advance. As the big day gets closer, you will want to make sure you’re nearly all packed up. Doing this far in advance means you will be calm enough to mark up your boxes in a way that makes sense. Begin thinking about clearing out your kitchen cabinets and defrosting and drying out your fridge/freezer. Remember your loft and garage. Yeah, I’m almost done with this one.
Number seven, tell your friends. You will want to inform your friends and family of your new address, and also ask them for help and support if you need. Make sure you have also notified your current neighbours, and check in with them to be certain there is room for your moving van to avoid any difficulties on the day. I will do it later.
Number eight, officially confirmed. Be sure to confirm with your solicitor or estate agent that the move can go ahead as planned. You will want to be aware of any delays well in advance. Check this a week before you are set to move. Done.
Number nine, keep your valuables close. Keep valuables, important documents and paperwork in a safe place away from the chaos of packing. Include any documents you need for moving. You can keep this with you in the car on moving day.
Know where you’ve put all your important documents, such as tax paperwork, birth certificates, passport, and driving licence. I am done with this one.
Number ten, the day before you move you can feel a little high pressure. Make certain that your mobile phone is charged and that your essential items are in a clearly marked box. Confirm with your removal firm and double check your route. And, done. Yes. I am almost done preparing for my moving day.
Yes, you heard it right. I am moving. I didn’t know how it happened but it just did. One day, when Donald and I were together, he asked me if my living space was enough for me. I said yes but he insisted on me living in his spare house.
