BEST FRIEND’S BROTHER

As he pushed closer still she trembled. He was so big and so strong and she was suddenly overwhelmed. But he moved so slowly, so carefully and then he kissed her again-in that deep, lush way, as if he’d wanted nothing more in all his life than to kiss her. As if she were the very oxygen he needed to survive. That was when everything melted within her and he slid to the hilt, so they were as deeply connected as they could possibly be. Her need coalesced again into a cascading reac-tion of movement. He pushed her to follow his sweet, hard, slick rhythm-into a dance she’d never known, but discovered she could do so damn well with him. His breathing roughened as she clutched him back, as she understood more the give and take, the meet and retreat of this magic. Together they moved faster, deeper…until she cried out as he brought unbearable, beautiful pleasure down upon her. As he broke through every last one of her boundaries to meet her right there-where there was light and heat and sheer physical joy.

And finally, when she couldn’t actually move, when her body was so wrung out, so limp from that tornado of ecstasy, a small smile curved his gorgeous lips. He rolled but pulled her close, draping her soft body over his. And he kissed her again-a sweet intimacy she was still so unused to, and still so desperately hungry for.

So hungry, in fact, that it took only one long, lush kiss to stir her hips into that primal circling dance again.

“Oh, Sasha,” he muttered and swept his hands down her yearning body. “You’re magnificent.”

“I’d love for us to have dinner at my house tonight,” Kaleb told Sasha three weeks later.

“Alright,” Sasha replied, “But can I ask why?”

“I have a surprise for you… I mean… There is something I want to show you,”

She shrugged, “Fine. Your place it is,”

Later that evening, Kaleb drove them to his house. Where his chef had prepared a delicious meal of fried rice and salad for them. As usual, Sasha ate to her fill, and blushed at some point when she looked up to find Kaleb staring at her with a smile on his face.

After dinner, Kaleb took her upstairs. Sasha followed in silence, wondering what the mystery was all about. Kaleb stopped in front of one of the rooms and opened the door, motioning for her to go in first.

Sasha walked in and looked around. The room had been painted yellow, and she saw that it had been turned into a baby’s room. And right there, in the middle of the room, was a beautiful crib, a red ribbon tied to it.

“For the baby,” Kaleb said behind her, “We can also turn the other room at your apartment to a baby’s room, but I’m currently occupying it and I knew that if I tried to do it now, you’ll find out and I’d ruin the surprise,”

Sasha couldn’t say anything so she simply stared at it, her eyes misty with tears. She turned to him.” Oh, Kaleb. it’s so beautiful” she threw her arms around him. He pressed her gently towards him, his face buried in her hair. “Thank you so much, Kaleb. I love it” she whispered in his ear.

“It’s nothing,” he said. “I figured it’d also make a great Christmas gift,”

She moved away from him gently. She’d been so confused on what to get him for Christmas. She’d finally settled for a blue designer office shirt and a beautiful mug that had ‘Daddy to be’ written on it.

“Yes it is something.” She told him.

“I wanted you to be surprised.. And the look on your face is totally worth it” he replied.

They spent the night there. Lying together in his bed, not having sex, but holding on to each other so tightly throughout the night, and Sasha could feel herself falling harder for him. She felt closer to him now… Too comfortable with him, and she knew that it’d be hard to let him go when she finally had to.

The next morning, Kaleb had to leave very early for a meeting, but not before he ordered his staff to look after Sasha and promised to be back as soon as he could.

After he left, Sasha remained in bed, inhaling his scent on his pillow. She slept off again and woke up two hours later. When she went down to the kitchen after a hot bath, she saw that breakfast had already been laid out for her. After breakfast, she was catching up with Miriam about work when she heard someone come in. One of the staff had let the visitors in and Sasha looked up to say hello.

She recognized the man as one of the people she’d met at Kaleb’s party and smiled cheerfully at him while she introduced herself. The young man seemed friendly and returned her greeting with a polite smile.

“I’m sorry,” she said, I’m assuming you want to see Kaleb but he’s not here right now,”

“Oh, he sent me” the man who had introduced himself as Clark replied, “He wanted me to get something he forgot from his home office,”

“Oh alright,” Sasha replied. She had noticed the look on his face when he saw that she was pregnant, and she wondered if Kaleb had told them about her or what he’d told them, so she added, “Sorry you had to meet me here like this.”

He shrugged. “Oh it’s fine. I’m happy for both of you honestly. It’s about time. Kaleb has been single for years now for all I know.”

Sasha lifted an eyebrow. She looked confused. This material belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

“What?” Clark gazed at her.

“Kaleb and Claire,” Sasha uttered haltingly, gazing back at him. “Are they not in a relationship?”

Clark frowned. “What are you talking about? Kaleb and Claire in a relationship? What nonsense is that?” He laughed loudly.

What the fuck! Sasha’s eyes widened.

“They are not?” she demanded.

“Of course not. They are not in a relationship, and they’ve never been. Well, other than a boss and subordinate, or friendship, which we all share, there’s nothing more. Jeez, where did you even get that?” He made it sound like the craziest thing to even imagine.

“Um, nowhere,” Sasha breathed softly. “I only thought so.” She was suddenly exhausted.
